EXTRA

Mario Lopez: hey guys! Welcome to Extra! I'm Mario Lopez.

Terri Seymour: I'm Terri Seymour.

Clarissa Thompson: And I'm Clarissa Thompson.

Terri: Our top story for today is of course, Dire Circumstances.

Mario: These kids are truly amazing. I mean, they went from small-town-famous to nation-famous in a matter of months.

Clarissa: I know, right? It's all thanks to Becky Hollies, the incredible guitarist who's vocals are killer. Her range is just... Wow.

Terri: I started watching her solo videos on YouTube.

Mario: Really?

Terri: Yea. They are literally incredible. Did you know she's done the guitar riffs for "Don't Stop Believing", "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen, "Black or White" by Michael Jackson, and even "Black Cat" by Janet Jackson?

Clarissa: No way! She did "Black Cat"?!

Mario: Apparently so. And that's not all. Her performance with Katy Perry at the Billboards was mind blowing. Did you guys see it?

Clarissa: Yes! Completely blown away. Terri, weren't you there on the red carpet with Becky?

Terri: Indeed, I was. Becky was with her longtime friend and famous actor Grant Gustin. The two were adorable together, but Grant and Becky claimed - at the time - that they were just friends.

Mario: Kinda ironic now, considering that they're dating.

Clarissa: That leads us to the biggest event in Billboards history: The Intervention That Broke The Billboards. Was that insane or what?

Terri: Completely. The four media icons Katy Perry, Cara Delevingne, Zendaya, and Meghan Trainor were all in on it. They literally sent Becky and Grant to a room with a hidden camera so they could "work things out" in front of everyone.

Mario: But another amazing part was the fact that Katy Perry actually forced the producers to keep filming even after the allotted time was used up.

Clarissa: I don't know what exactly happened during that five minute commercial break--

Terri: That Katy ordered.

Clarissa: That Katy ordered, but whatever happened, it seemed to have fixed things between Becky and Grant.

Mario: Becky looked so embarrassed when everyone started chanting "KISS!" to her. I felt so bad for that.

Terri: Well, Becky did momentarily stop them by calling them kidults. She even called out Oprah! Who does that?!

Clarissa: Apparently she does. And when Oprah started up the chant again, you guys remember what happened?

Mario: How could I not?

Terri: She kissed him.

Mario: Yep.

Clarissa: And not like a friendly kiss on the cheek. That was a full-on kiss, like she was totally in love with him.

Terri: Ahh, that was insane!

Clarissa: And so sweet!

Terri: Totally!

Mario: And that's not the only PDA that Becky decided to make. A few days ago, when she was on Jimmy Fallon - that was insane.

Clarissa: Oh my gosh, yes! She was great on that show, even with that sudden laugh attack.

Terri: And Cara Delevingne made a surprise visit along with Grant.

Mario: I'm telling you, they are the cutest couple ever.

Terri: Agreed.

Clarissa: On the Tonight Show, the band performed their hit song, Into You. Halfway through the song, Becky actually went backstage and pulled Grant back to the stage with her - still singing.

Mario: Still singing? Now that's talent.

Terri: And right when the song ended, she and Grant shared a very passionate kiss right on stage.

Clarissa: Fans of the band and the show weren't the only ones who were shocked by Becky's actions, though. We got an exclusive interview with Gabby Reed, Dire Circumstances' colorful and wild bass guitarist, who gave her personal opinion on that moment.

AJ Calloway: So, Gabby. Tell us about that little PDA on Jimmy Fallon the other night.

Gabby: Oh god, that crazy-a** moment. That was loony. Totally crazy. We had no idea that she was going to do that.

AJ: So it wasn't rehearsed?

Gabby: F*ck no! Literally halfway through the song she just up and goes backstage to get Grant. I wanted to scream, "BECKY! WHAT THE F*CK ARE YOU DOING?!" but we learned awhile ago that you just let Becky do Becky.

AJ: Plus you were still playing.

Gabby: Sh*t, that too.

AJ (laughing): Do you think it was cute, or unnecessary?

Gabby: Was cute for about thirty seconds. Then I wanted to just scream, "BECKY WHAT THE LITERAL F*CK?! WE ARE ON A TV SHOW, NOT THE BACHELORETTE!!!

(Whole rooms cracks up with laughter)

Gabby: I SWEAR TO F*CKING GOD IF YOU WANT TO MAKE OUT WITH YOUR BOYFRIEND GO TO F*CKING GREY'S ANATOMY OR SOME SH*T LIKE THAT! CALL SHONDA RHYMES, FOR F*CK'S SAKE!! SHE'LL HOOK YOU UP FOR A GUEST APPEARANCE!!! JEEZUS F*CKING CHRIST, BECKY!!"

*SCREEN RETURNS TO UNIVERSAL STUDIOS STAGE*

Mario: (laughing) She is just something else, isn't she?

Terri: She's definitely very colorful in her personality.

Clarissa: And her language.

Mario: Apparently not everyone shared our feeling of cuteness, however. Twitter went crazy when someone posted a video of Becky and Grant at the mall yesterday, making out for a good five minutes. The video was taken down shortly after, but here are some comments about it off of Twitter. Heather at heathensgirl26 said, "I think Becky's taking her song a little too seriously. Their relationship is cute, but I don't want to see them together all the time like that."

Terri: Geez. Mason at masteryang10 said, "They need to censor themselves. It was cute before, but now it's just like an overly dramatized Romeo&Juliet."

Clarissa: This one's hurtful. Jinn at jinglesjangles said, "Start singing more and get your tongue out of his mouth."

Mario (winces): well, one supportive fan said, "This is so cute! They are living proof that platonic relationships that turn romantic can and do work out!"

Terri: That comment made every fan and celebrity go crazy. Basically half the posts said "FIGHT ME!"

Clarissa: I'm one of them. I think it's adorable.

Mario: So you'd fight these people over this.

Clarissa: Yes, one hundred percent.
