again

"yeah ahaha I guess I like this place because it's so small. no one ever really comes here, and if they do they aren't the type of person to know who I am. I just got you a regular coffee with milk, I wasn't sure what to order so I hope that's okay."

He smiled at me, taking another sip of his coffee.

"it's perfect", I smiled to him, "my favorite."

it definitely wasn't, but it felt like the right thing to say. I love an iced coconut milk mocha macchiato with a pump of hazelnut, but I feel like that's just a lot for a first date.

We sipped our drinks together and talked about his fame, my not fame and how he wished he could have it back, and all the little pieces in between. He made me laugh.

"hey, do you want to get out of here?" he leaned over the table to ask me, and as I smiled and nodded he grabbed my hand and led me out, leaving a hundred dollar bill on the table.

He wrapped his arm around me as we walked towards his Aston Martin. He unlocked his car and opened the door for me. Running around to the other side of his car, he got in and started his car.

We never turned on the radio, it was a quick drive so it wasn't awkward. It was a really comfortable silence actually. Alone in our thoughts together. I've never been able to do that before with anyone besides family. It was like we had an instant connection.

He pulled into a hotel parking lot, and putting on sunglasses he got out of his car and awkwardly jogged over to open my door. He looked really stupid, but he somehow made it cute. stupidly cute.

He grabbed my hand and pulled me close, snaking his hand around my waist as he led me inside. We walked into the elevator, and as the door was about to shut a girl walked in.

After a few seconds of riding up, she turned to Charlie.

"hey, are you Shawn Mendes?"

"no I'm actually Hailey Baldwin, so nice to meet you"

and with that the door opened and he put his hand on the small of my back, and we walked out together. I never realized he could be like that, but a part of me liked it. He was just a little more exciting, a little more aggressive.

He opened the hotel room door, and as we walked into the suite, one of the most beautiful hotel rooms I had ever seen. As I was admiring the room I felt hands run along my waist, feeling Charlie behind me. I could feel his hot breath against my skin, and I turned to meet his face, and then his lips. His hands lowered from my waist and he ran his fingers up my neck and through my hair, deepening the kiss. Slowly I pulled away, resting my forehead against his, we both laughed lightly.

"you're pretty good at that you know", he whispered, I could still feel his breath against my face. It made me crave more of him.

"really? I'm not so sure." I replied, biting my lip as I looked up at him.

"then maybe we should try it again."
