Muttering something to himself, Mario tries to gain some confidence while walking down a dark dimly lit hallway. Entering an arena, dozens of anthropomorphic monkeys chant his name in support. Suddenly, a big ape with a red tie shows up at the other end of the arena.

"Alright." Mario said, clenching his fists and closing his eyes.

The monkey named Donkey Kong grunts and looks ready to chase down the red plumber.

"Let's-a go." Mario said, confidently.

The two foes charge at each other. Cranky Kong, the leader of the Kong's, sits on a throne as a young blonde woman in pink sits beside him; Princess Peach. Toad cheers for his mustachioed hero. Sitting next to him were Tails, Knuckles, Tom Wachowski, and Sonic the Hedgehog cheer on in high spirit. But something was different about Sonic... he was wearing a brown bandanna around his neck, bandages on his hands to his forearms and bandages on his shoes all the way up to his lower legs, and had some baggy eyes... but that didn't stop him from cheering on his new plumber friend.

As Mario jumps up, makes a fist, ready to punch Donkey Kong (like in Super Smash Bros Style), the ape catches the plumber in mid air and slams him to the ground, throwing several sucker punches as Mario exclaims in pain. Toad and Peach wince in concern, seeing their mustachioed friend get his ass kicked.

"Oh!" Peach said.

"OH! Oh my g... okay." Toad said.

Cranky Kong just grabs a banana and shrugs, smiling while Sonic, Knuckles, Tails watch in disbelief. Tom smacks his hand against his face.

"For real?" He muttered.

Sonic spin dashes into Donkey Kong's back, Tails uses one of his gadgets to tase the monkey, and Knuckles just punches DK till he's knocked out.

"MONKEY! DECIVER!" Knuckles shouted.

"Knuckles, that was unnecessary." Tails said.

Sonic lifts up his friend.

"Seriously Mario? You had like one job to do here." Sonic said.

"Well, I'm not the one who fought a mad scientist with magic crystals." Mario said.

"True." Sonic said.

Out of nowhere, DK punches the plumber and the hedgehog into the wall and the the audience goes "oh!".

"Oh, Jesus... okay..." Tails said.

In the Koopa Castle, Luigi and Maddie are prisoners and are taken to see the Koopa King: Bowser. As the Kamek uses magic to lift the two heroes closer to the king, Bowser smirks as Luigi was scared shitless while Maddie, wearing a red dress, did her best to be brave.

"Not sure if you know who I am..."

Several minions of the Koopa Clan start partying like it's New Year's Eve. Many weird and strange creatures run amok. Bob-omb's, Goomba's, Koopa Troopas, Piranha Plants, and bats. Eggman snorted up a line of shrooms and exclaims like he's on coke.

"....but I'm about to rule the world."

Koopa Troopas descend from the Flying Fortress as Bowser caresses Maddie's cheek and lifts Luigi's chin.

"Oh great..." Maddie said in concern.

"Wow, uh... yay..." Luigi said, sheepishly.

"But there's two problems." Bowser says.

Mario, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Tom, and Toad all head for the Mushroom Kingdom.

"There's a blue hedgehog that I want dead... but I need his power and his emeralds first to get to the other dimension. And you know everything about him, don't you.... Little Princess?" Bowser said, twirling Maddie's hair.

The Power Star requires Super Chaos Energy to open dimensional rifts. Things were not looking good for her, not only does this beast want valuable information out of her and her son dead, but he's also lusting over her as well.

"No... not my son..." she thought.

Remembering about what happened back in Brooklyn, the Wachowski's (in their everyday casual clothes) Sonic (not wearing the bandana and bandages just yet), Tails, and Knuckles are in an Uber, taking a vacation in New York for Summer Vacation.

Bowser turns to Luigi.

"And there's a human, has a mustache... just like you." The Koopa King says, grabbing a hair on Luigi's mustache.

"Ah.." Luigi said.

In an apartment, Mario twirls his wrench and looks at a golden faucet, dripping one drop of water.

"Do you think I know every human with a mustache, wearing an identical outfit, wearing a hat with the letter of his first name on it?" Luigi says, voice getting higher as Bowser pulls on his mustache hairs.

In Brooklyn, Mario and Luigi share a fist bump and walk to the apartment building.

"Because I don't!" Luigi lied.

Angered, Bowser rips off a piece of his mustache and the plumber screams in pain. Maddie tried to charge at the Koopa King but Shy Guys hold her down.

"LEAVE HIM ALONE!!!" She screamed, as the Shy Guys take her back to the cage.

Eggman covers his mustache with his hands and looks at Bowser.

"You do that to my mustache, your ass is getting kicked." Eggman says.

"You heard Robotnik." Stone added.

Dr. Robotnik glares at his assistant.

"SHUT UP STONE!" He screamed.

Bowsers flying castle moves closer towards the Mushroom Kingdom.

"Bowser is coming..." Princess Peach says.

A map shows six neighboring kingdoms and the destroyed Snow Kingdom. The kingdoms were Yoshi Island, Snow Kingdom, Mushroom Kingdom, Kong Kingdom, Sarasaland, and the Darklands. The Flying Fortress makes its way to the Mushroom Kingdom as it passes by a seventh island with an abandoned castle on it.

In the Koopa Castle, Bowser smirks devilishly, watching from a small portal ring as Eggman attacks the Mushroom Kingdom, relentlessly.

Peach gets up from her throne and looks at the Toads.

"Together..." she says.

She grabs her battle axe and Toad pulls out a frying pan, Tom pulls out his shotgun and Knuckles clenches his fists, heading for Bowser's ship.

"...we, are going to stop that monster." Peach says.

"How? Look at us. We're adorable." A yellow Toad interjects.

"They have a point." Tails said.

At a training course...

"I got this, no problem-o." Mario said.

But Mario, don't got this! He keeps getting beat recklessly! Hit by a fake fire ball, slammed into a fake rocket, and falling off a fake platform.

"Yes! Aaaah!" Mario yelled.

Peach slams her head into the balcony ledge and Tom just smacks his hand into his face.

"You've got one job man. ONE. JOB!" Tom said.

Tails and Knuckles roll their eyes.

"Don't worry, we got this." Tails said.

"We are one million percent muscle!" Knuckles added.

But they don't got it either! The training course is no match for Tails and Knuckles' experience with drones and a mad scientist as they keep getting pummeled by fake Bullet Bills.

"Nevermind!" Tails said.

Peach rolls her eyes.

A new scene shows Sonic in Bowser's grasp, held in his fist like a doll. The blue blur looked horrified as Bowser smiled maliciously at his prisoner, as if he's seen Sonic a long time ago...

"C'mon Mario and Sonic! Our big adventure begins now!" Said Toad.

Crossing a bridge full of jumping Cheep Cheeps, one of the fishes lands on Mario's face.

"ACK! Get it off! Get it off! Get it off!" Mario yells.

Peach and Tom try to pull the Cheep Cheep off, and they did, only for Tails and Knuckles to duck down, Mario to stumble backwards, Peach and Tom to land backwards, and for the fish to land on Toad's face.

THIS APRIL

A rocket flies towards the Mushroom Kingdom as Tails flies through the clouds, heading for Bowser's castle. A bullet bill chases Tanooki Mario, Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles. Now, Princess Peach touches a Fire Flower and her dress goes from pink, to red and white. A fire ball emerged from her hand as she had a determined look on her face.

"There's a huge universe out there..." Peach says.

Mario, Toad, Peach, Tom, Tails, and Knuckles are seen looking at cliffs while back in the Koopa Castle, Sonic encounters a small blue Luma who recognizes him.

Yoshi's are seeing running through a meadow. The seventh island with the abandoned castle has many little Luma's inside, hiding from the flying monsters of Bowser's castle that threaten to capture them and steal their information on Power Stars.

"...with a lot of galaxies..."

A queen in a red cloak runs off in the rain, running away from something. She looks at her baby, desperate to protect him from his fate. Now a scene shows Sonic getting captured by Bowser in the Mushroom Castle.

"Mario!" Sonic yells.

TO GO DOWN

Mario is shot out of a pipe, flying through a wormhole full of colorful clouds and green pipes popping out of some of the clouds. Sonic, Tom, Maddie, Tails, and Knuckles follow in pursuit.

"They're all counting on us."

"MARIO!" Luigi yelled.

"Help!" Tails said.

Flying after his sibling, Mario and Luigi grab hands and then Sonic hugs his little brother through the portal.

THE WARP PIPE

"No pressure." Peach says to Mario.

She walks off and the Plumber and Hedgehog are stunned. Sonic (now back in his bandages and bandana) and Mario are now in race cars. Punching the gas, Mario screams in shock and Sonic shouts in panic as they drive off the road with Peach on a motorcycle with Tom in the back, DK in his own kart, Toad in a big SUV, and Tails and Knuckles in their own karts (like the ones from Team Sonic Racing). In slow motion, they land on a Rainbow Road. Mario laughs in amusement as Peach, Toad, Tom, Tails, Knuckles, and the Kong's in race cars behind the plumber and blue blur follow him and Sonic back to the Mushroom Kingdom.

"GOTTA GO FAST!!!" Sonic yells.

"Wahooo!" Mario added.

A scene shows a crash and a billow of smoke. Red eyes shine through as a blue robot marches his way towards the Mushroom Kingdom.

(My god, the newest trailer had me in tears! I'm so excited to see my Mustachioed Plumber Hero on the big screen. We got to see Sonic on the big screen first, let's give Mario a chance. Especially Chris Pratt. The guy is doing the best he can. And honestly, I think it's an okay choice for Luigi to be captured in the movie (like in Mario 3D Land where we had to save him from Dry Bowser to play as him) because if it was Peach, then the movie would just be pretty predictable. And yeah, maybe Mario starting out clumsy should work because this is his FIRST TIME in the Mushroom Kingdom anyway. I mean, this is an Origin Story for the plumber after all. We have to give them a chance. But I am excited to show you all this fanfic when the movie comes out so I can brainstorm. Until next time, do the Mario! ;D)
