Chapter 17

-Katniss's POV-

Delly and Gale have a few people in their group which includes: Boggs,Bonnie,Twill,Tigris and Darius. All people are our age.

Bonnie and Twill are watching outside just incase and Boggs, Darius, and Tigris watch inside. Cato and Marvel take out Bonnie and Twill.

Clove and Glimmer go inside and take care of Tigris. Finnick and I will take care of Boggs and Darius. I attack Boggs while Finnick attacks Darius. I take a deep breath.

I will be the one getting Gale and Delly but the group will go back to the van. Delly and Gale are laughing while planning something. "Willow was too easy to take out." Delly laughs. "And Katniss tried to save her." He snorts.

I feel anger. I go out and shoot Gale with my bow and arrow. I'm about to shoot Delly but she pulls out a gun."watch it Everdeen." She smirks.

I shake violently holding my aim. "Where's lover boy?Oh I see, you wanted to help him and your little children. What were the names? Willow and Rye?" She says innocently.

I shoot the arrow but she fires the gun. I sit in my own pool of blood. Finnick runs over. "NOOOOO!" He screams. Clove,Annie,Glimmer, and Johanna run over. "No." They whisper.

They cry. "Hey, hey, hey. Don't cry." I say smiling. "But your not going to make it." Annie sobs. I shake my head. "No I'm not but I get to see my boy with the bread." I whisper coughing.

I take my last breath while it hitches. Police sirens sound. "I'm coming Peeta." I whisper and close my eyes. That's the last thing I whisper before it's all over.

-Peeta's POV-

"Oh my god..." I whisper. Then I see Katniss wondering around. "Hello?" She croaks. I run to her. "Peeta!" She screams also running towards me. I pick her up and spun her around hugging her.

I kiss her. Our foreheads our together. "I love you." She whispers. "I love you too." I murmur. "Peeta? Are we..are we...dead?" She whispers. I nod sadly. The twins come running.

"Mommy!" They scream and hug her. "I missed you." Willow whispers. "Me too!" Rye agrees. "I missed you guys too." She cries.

We are reunited, but not in the best way.
