"I'm on my way" - IVE, I Am

-Still Lila's POV-

The next morning we got ready to see if they were at the site of the area. Since Cancun was 13 hours away from Geneva, we decided to leave early at 7:00 A.M on Saturday and arrive on Sunday. Before we left, I went back to the room that Liliane and I were staying in. I gazed at it. The birch bunk beds, the muted shade of blue that the wall had plastered on it, the white dresser with the mini succulent plants on it, the white lamp very similar to my own. I sighed and thought about Demeter. Before I could get too far into thinking about my home planet, I was snapped out of my thoughts by Dylan, Pearl, and Noah calling my name.

"I'm coming!" I called back. I grabbed my coat and exited the room. Everyone was waiting for me. As I exited the room, I was hastily putting my white jacket. It had a hood, two pockets with zippers on them, and baggy sleeves. I liked it. Good job Silvia and Pearl. "Let's go." We all boarded the jet and we sped off. I turned on my device to see a photo of my parents, Lilliane, and me. My mother's name was Eon and my father's was Aylor, but this generation of people aren't named the way Demeter was formed. They're all just Earth names. My parents hoped that one day I would explore Earth and gave me an 'Earthling' name, and I did. I pulled my hood up and put in some 'Airpods'. There's not a great connection for my Cosmo Phone so Val bought me an 'Apple' phone. It had apps like 'Youtube' or 'Spotify' or 'Procreate' and others.'Spotify' could play Earth music. I particularly liked the 'Indie' genre. I connected my Airpods and listened to my playlist. I was vibing until the plane had a jolt of turbulence. I jolted up and rushed to the cockpit.

"Pearl, what happened?" I asked frantically.

"Something is in the air and it's invisible!" she said, rushed clicking and flicking buttons and switches. "Prepare Lila."
