"hyung, please..." mark whined. "it was just one night." and he stomped his feet.

"mark, i told you i still have-"

"i didn't give you a lot of work, hyung!" mark cuts him off, making doyoung roll his eyes.

"whatever you say, i'm still not going." the older said.

since there's a two person required for the party, mark begging his hyung to come with him which is also working at his company. he really don't want to attend the party but he had no choice because as he remember, some of his workers which is also his friends, he give them off for a week.

"hyung..." mark continued.

"marco will also come, right? then why are you bothering me?" his eyebrow raised.

"the kids were exempted," he pouted.

"not my problem," and he continued typing on his keyboard.

"wait, i'm the ceo here..." mark said when he realised what he was doing. "don't wait for me to deduct your salary, hyung." he said in a serious tone.

doyoung was really going with him but seeing the younger begging to him, he decided to tease him more so he could see the younger whining.

"okay, fine. i'm just playing you." the older one laughed.

"tss, i suddenly want to call jeno and said that he should change his partner which is taeil hyung." and he walked away.

"yah! don't you dare, you dumb ass!" the older shouted, making mark smirked.

tonight was the party and mark was already going home. his son was waiting for him there, which he also brought to the party.

"daddy!" and the kid who's wearing a suit ran towards him.

"hi, baby. are you ready?" and he carried the kid.

"yes, daddy." the kid nodded happily. "i'm gonna see a lot of people there!" he giggled.

mark talked with his son for a while before he went upstairs and got dressed so they could arrive at the venue before the paytime.

making their way inside the venue, greeted by a lot of people that were probably from the other companies. renjun and donghyuck chose the cocktail table instead of the normal table, they were just two and they were not that sociable if someone also sat with them.

"i think i already saw my guy, wait me here, hyuck." renjun suddenly said.

"wait-"

but he didn't finish what he was saying since renjun suddenly ran to chase his boyfriend. he suddenly felt nervous because he was now alone.

he was holding a glass of wine, looking around, checking his phone second by second. his sociable self suddenly fades away.

[how's the party?] the older asked when donghyuck answered his call.

"hyung, i know you're mad at me but not in this way..." he pouted, as if taeyong could see him.

[suddenly, hyuck? where is your sociable self?] the older asked and can't help not to laugh.

"i don't know... renjun left me," he continued. "he chose his boyfriend, i'm hurt." and he faked his cry.

[aw, such a cry baby] and he laughed.

"we're okay now, hyung?" his voice suddenly getting excited and happy.

[in your dreams, i'm gonna end the call] the older said, making the younger pouted.

"hmp, i hate you. okay, bye hyung!" he said before the call finally ended.

donghyuck was about to take a sip on his drinks when he felt someone pulling his coat, which made him look down and there he saw the kid he's been missing for a week.

the kid was put down on the chair by his daddy. he looked at his father innocently and wondered why his father suddenly put him down.

"don't go anywhere, okay? daddy will just talk to someone and also get you an ice cream." he warned.

"you will leave me here, daddy?" he frowned.

"no, because daddy will come back." and he brushed his hair. "again, don't leave here if i still haven't come back, okay?"

"okay, daddy." and he nodded, making mark smile.

"don't ever leave your backpack behind, okay? bring this always with you in case you suddenly went missing." mark warned, making the kid nodded again.

he put the phone on the kid's backpack, a phone where he can use it as the tracker when the kid went missing. he leaned a kiss before leaving.

the kid looked around while waiting for his daddy, there's a lot of people inside and he couldn't avoid being so nervous, especially since his dad wasn't with him right now.

until his eyes went to the cocktail tables, his eyes widened when he realised that the male who's talking with someone on the phone was familiar.

"omo, uncle pudu!" he said happily.

he suddenly forgot what his daddy said, he immediately got down from the chair and made his way at the person he missed almost a week.

"babi!" he said happily and immediately carried the kid.

"i miss you, uncle pudu!" and the kid immediately hugged him.

"aw, i miss you too!" and he hugged him back. "who are you with?" he asked.

"i was with my daddy," the kid giggled.

"aw, you know i was alone since i came here. your uncle junnie left me alone..." he pouted, which made the kid also pouted.

"hmm, uncle junnie is bad." and he cupped his cheeks. "let's play outside then!"

the two went outside and made their way to the fountain. the kid ran towards the fountain and wait for his uncle pudu.

"do you have a coin, uncle pudu?" the kid asked as he sat at the edge of the fountain and of course, donghyuck in behind, holding him to make sure that he wouldn't fall.

"for what?" he frowned.

"to make a wish!" he clapped his hands.

"i think i have it here," donghyuck said and got his wallet. "what do you wish for?" he asked and handed the three coins to the kid.

"hmm, i wished to see my dada!"

the kid closed his eyes, made him stare at the kid and his smile slowly faded away. the kid smiled as he opened his eyes, throwing the coin on the fountain.

"i hope it happens, i want us to be complete in christmas." he pouted.

"i will wish to," and he got another coin from his wallet.

"about what though, uncle pudu?" the kid asked curiously.

"hmm, i will wish you to meet your dada." he smiled. "and to meet my son again."

the kid clapped his hands, watching his uncle pudu wishing before throwing the coin in the fountain.

the sky was already dark but the two didn't bother to come back inside, they were playing in the garden. both of them were now laying on the ground, donghyuck was telling about the stars that they are now watching.

"stars are hard to chase, uncle pudu." the kid said as he yawned.

"who said they are easy to chase?" he pouted.

"hmm, i'm already feeling sleepy, uncle pudu..." the kid whispered.

"you know, babi. uncle pudu has a lover before," donghyuck said as he started a new topic. "we used to star gazing every night, but unfortunately, uncle pudu needs to leave. leaving gis lover behind with their little star." and he smiled bitterly.

but the kid didn't speak, he immediately faced the kid who's using his arm as his pillow. a smile showed on his face when he heard the kid snoring, the kid fell asleep.

"aw, my babi fell asleep." and he pointed his nose.

but his smile slowly faded away as he saw the birthmark under the kid's ear after he put the kid's hair on his ear. it was just a small birthmark and it was the same on his son's.

he gulped but he shook his head to stop thinking about those, he looked at the time and others might be looking for them.

he slowly carried the kid, gently cleaning off their coat before making their way back to the venue.

donghyuck was walking slowly, effortlessly carrying the kid. he was also holding the kid's bag. he still can't forget the time he saw the kid's birthmark, he felt like his chest was getting heavy.

"oh, crap. i'm dead." donghyuck whispered as he saw how many calls he got from renjun.

he stopped walking just to put his phone back in his pocket. he was about to walk again but he saw someone that he didn't expect to see.
