Sorry it took a while

"Yuki, come down it's time to eat." You call up to your 16 year old son, who comes running down with a book in his hands. Your husband wasn't home yet, saying he had business to attend too. It's a normal thing though, you do the same thing as most nights and put a plate aside for him.

Yuki sits down across from you at the table. "It's been a while since dad ate with us." He knows about his fathers work, but Akutagawa tries to keep his work and private life apart from each other.

"You know your dad has a lot of work to do." Yuki just tsks. He is known to have a bit of an attitude, but he is mostly a good kid. Good grades, helps with chores, sometimes he feeds stray cats. He also has a rebellious side though. Stayed out really late some nights, he has stolen, you walked in on him drinking once.

Akutagawa and you weren't very strict parents, but when you found out that he drank, you became very protective of him. Yuki promised you that he only drank once, and you believed him. Even though Yuki can be troublesome, he never lies.

So put together, Yuki was a good kid. "I know, I know, just makes me a little aggravated." You we're getting ready to speak back but was interrupted by the door opening. Thinking it was Akutagawa you walked to greet him, but once you got in the hallway someone had you on the ground, your hand pinned behind your back, and their hand over your mouth.

"Mom? Dad?" Yuki walks into the hallway and the man pointed a gun at him. You thrashed in this guys grip, starting to tear up. "Mom. Are you okay? Is he hurting you to much?" You just wiggled while looking up at your son.

"Shut up! Where's Akutagawa? Huh?" He asks taking his hand from your mouth. Before you can speak, Yuki speaks for you. "He isn't here." That only angers the man. "That's fine, I'll just have to take his pretty wife and little son."

Suddenly, you felt your body become released and turned your head to your son seeing he wasn't there. You heard talking behind you but didn't understand cause you hit the ground hard. "Yuki?" You asks still confused. Finally coming back to reality, you turn your head, and see your son with bloody knuckles and a gun in his hands, pointing at the man who had you pinned up.

At that exact moment, Akutagawa opened the front door and saw his wife on the floor with a twisted arm and his son pinning someone to the ground who was barely breathing.

"What the hell happened." Aku walked to you picking you up, looking for injuries. "YN, are you okay? What did this man do to you?" He started getting angry. Aku settles you back down on the ground and takes the gun from Yuki. "How did you learn to fight like this?" Yuki just smirks and explains how this man came in and hurt you.

That night you sat Yuki down and had a chat.
