Thoughts are on bold

I spent all night thinking of ways to talk to vinnie, and ways to dump josh. I knew I needed to tell vinnie today. But that meant dumping josh...

"Taylor!" Josh shouts from our usual spot on the bus. I sigh and walk over sitting beside him.
"Hey..."
"Hey babe" he says kissing my cheek
"Josh we need to talk" I say making him look at me
"What's wrong?" He asks
"I-I think we need to break up" I put my hands on either side of his cheeks as his eyes filled with tears.
"D-did I do something?" He asks
"Of course not...I just think it's better if we stay friends" i sigh
"It's hacker isn't it? You like him don't you?" He asks, I nod my head.
"Go get him! Get the guy you both deserve each other!" He says
"Thank you josh" I hug him and walk of the bus. I look for vinnie but I couldn't find him.

Skip to the end of the school day

I felt relieved that josh was okay with it. I should've known, he is a nice guy. So of course he would be happy for me.

He was playing really well. Then half time hit.
"Hey Reggie!" I say running over to him
"Hey have you spoken to vinnie?" He asks
"No but I dumped josh" I say and Reggies jaw drops
"You have to tell vinnie!" He says
"I can't get to him" i sigh
"I'll talk to him" I nod and run back to the cheerleaders

Vinnies pov

I was grabbing water when I saw Reggie shouting my name and calling me over.
"What is it reg I have to go" I say
"Taylor! She dumped josh! Go get your girl" he says
"Reg she doesn't feel the same way" i sigh and walk away before he could say anything else.

Why would she dump him though
She doesn't like me
Fuck

My head was out of it, I couldn't concentrate. I was focused on one thing and that was Taylor...

Taylor's pov

I saw vinnie go over to Reggie but he walked away looking distracted and disappointed. The rest of the game he was off...he wasn't playing very well. Then he got the ball, he was running with it...then the biggest player tackled him. He went to the ground.

"Vinnie!" I yell sprinting over to him
"Move! get out of my way! MOVE!" I yell pushing through the crowd of people around him. I saw vinnie lying on the floor holding his arm groaning in pain.
"Vinnie..it's okay calm down" I say sitting beside him. I kneel down and put his head on my lap taking his helmet off.
"Get a medic!" Kio yells
"You were so out of it..why were you so distracted?" I ask him
"R-Reggie..he s-said you dumped josh?" He says in between groans of pain.
"Yeah I did" i sigh
"W-why?" He asks
"Because I love you" i sigh, he looks up at me.
"You what!?" He says shocked
"I love you vinnie..I have for years" i sigh
He smiles and looks at me
"I-I love you too" he smiles, I lean down and kiss him. He kisses me back smiling into the kiss. He brings hands behind him to scoot himself up, breaking the kiss as he feels pain in his arm.
"I forgot i hurt my arm" he sighs, I laugh. I bring his head into my chest and kiss his forehead.
"Medics are here!" Kio says
I move away as they go to vinnie.
"I can walk I'm not going on a stretcher" I hear him say through the medics around him. I roll my eyes knowing vinnie was stubborn as hell.

"You have a concussion we have to take you on the stretcher" a paramedic says.
"I'm his mom take him on the stretcher!" Mariah says running over.
"What happened!" Mariah says
"One minute I was in the bathroom and the next i see my son on the floor with paramedics around him!" She sighs
"He got tackled and probably broke his arm and got a concussion" I say to her
"That's my son!" She says jokingly
"I told him I loved him" I mumble
"What!" She smiles and hugs me
"We're taking him to the hospital if you end to come with us" a paramedic says
"Can I come with you?" I ask and Mariah nods
I got in the ambulance and drove with them, I held onto vinnies hood hand as they put his other arm in a splint and gave him pain killers.
