Hyunri POV~

"Wow did they have a whole photo shoot for these profiles" I was impressed by how well put together the file was and how handsome they all are.

I was flipping through the file again when the door opened. Making eye contact with Donghyuck made my heart race involuntarily. "Come down stairs." Is all he said before he turned around and left.

I hopped off the bed and when I exited the room I was met with a hallway, and to the left I could see the beginning of a stairwell.

A huge glittering chandler was hanging above the double staircase as I carefully made my way down and headed towards the voices coming from what I suppose is the living room.

Walking in, all eyes turned to me. All 21 pairs of eyes. Were looking directly at me.

Before I could turn around to leave I felt someone grab my arm. "Everyone this is Donghyuck's soulmate uh...wait what's your name." I looked up at Taeyong and then to the other handsome guys in front of me "Park Hyunri" I said.

"Well Donghyuck got lucky" Someone said, a scoff following afterwards. "I'm leaving" Donghyuk said while leaving the room and shoving my shoulder in the process.

"Sorry about him, he never really wanted to meet his soulmate." The one I recognized to be Taeil said.

"It's not your fault" I said quietly going to sit in an empty seat.

"You need to win him over" Kun tried to hype me up "Yes yes yes! We'll all help you and in no time you will have him begging for you to forgive him" Ten said getting all excited.

"I don't think that's going to work you guys" Jeno said making everyone else in the room glare at him.

I laughed at how all of them were being defensive "He's right though...the amount of girls that hang off him in class is..." The sadness in my tone made some of the look at me in pity.

"It's okay though, I don't need no man" I said while flipping my hair to lift the atmosphere. Some laughed and some just sadly smiled.

"Anyways can I have my phone and when can I leave" I faced Taeyong hopefully. "Well, we'll give you your phone back" Taeyong said while gesturing to Jisung to go get it "I'm afraid you can't leave though."

"What why?!" "Because your soulmate is Donghyuk and he's in a mafia and leaving could put you in immense danger and also you might go to the police"

 "Okay first of all why would I go to the police when my soulmate is literally in the same mafia and also I can protect myself."

Everyone sighed at my last statement, "God she's so innocent" Doyoung said. Jisung came back and handed me my phone and right when I turned it on I was bombarded with notifications.

"Wow girl you're famous" Someone screamed through the crowd of boys. "My parents are going to kill me" I mumbled under my breathe.

I went back to the room I was in before and called my mom right away

"PARK HYUNRI WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?!"

"Hey mom...I can't really tell you, I just called to tell you I'm safe."

"I've never cared about anything you do, but I need you to come back right now your dad needs to talk to you"

"I'm not coming home mom...I'll call you later." Before she could answer I hung up.

I have a terrible relationship with my parents. My dad in particular. My parents are soulmates and they do love each other. It was just after they had me when they started arguing a lot more.

My dad never wanted kids while my mom did. He wanted her to terminate the pregnancy but she didn't. He hates me and I hate him.

My mom and I did have a good relationship, before he started to hit me for no reason and she would let him.

She stopped caring about me because it affected her relationship with him. I always told myself that once I meet my soulmate I wouldn't be like my parents. I would actually care about the impact I have on my kids.

Ok guys I have no idea what this chapter is. It's really weird honestly lol
