Sam's POV

Later that day I heard a knock on the door and I stood up and walked over to answer it. As I opened the door, Maia was standing there. 

"Hey," she said and smiled.

"Hi," I smiled back. She stepped inside and I closed the door behind her. 

"Hey Sammers," Makayla said as she walked into the kitchen and started making a bunch of popcorn. 

"Hey," I said and grabbed Maia's hand and pulled her into the living room. She giggled as I spun her around, so she was facing me. 

"Oh just sit down and watch the movie," Kian complained.

"What movie?" Maia asked.

"Ouija," Kian said.

All the blankets and pillows were here already so I grabbed a bunch and made a spot for me and Maia. I pulled her closer to me as the movie started and we were handed popcorn.

My eyes slowly opened and I could feel Maia still in my arms. I stared at  her laying in my arms. She was so beautiful, but it all felt wrong. Sami should be here lying with me. I stood up quickly and went into the kitchen. I just stood there with my hands on the counter looking down at it for what seemed like hours. This life din't feel like it was mine anymore. When I'm with Maia I lose all control. She was so perfect and she thought I was so perfect. That's why it all felt surreal. 

"Hey," Maia said yawning, making me look up, "Everything okay?"

"Yea it's fine," I said and walked over to her, grabbing her by the waist. She giggled and looked up at me.

2 YEARS LATER.

I stood and looked in the mirror, took a deep breath and looked at Kian.

"You're really doing this?" He asked.

I smiled, "I'm really doing this."

"A few years ago, I never would've pictured it ending like this," Kian said, a tear falling from his eyes.

"Nothing's ending. It's only beginning,"  I responded. 

"This is what makes you happy?" he asked.

"You've been asking me that for 6 months. Kian, I promise that this makes me happy," I reminded him.

"I didn't think you of all people would be the first doing this," Kian chuckled.

"What's that supposed to mean?" I asked.

Before he could answer Carolyn came in, "It's time to go guys," She stated and walked back out, me and Kian right behind her. She lead us to the group of people consisting of: Connor, JC, Ricky, Trevor, Dani, Andrea, Lia, Remedy  and Aria. 

"You ready?" Connor asked. 

"As ready as I'm ever gonna be," I responded and walked through the doors. Everyone turned around and looked at me as I walked down the aisle and stood at the end. After me it was Connor and Aria, Then Jc and Lia, Ricky and Remedy, Trevor and Dani, Kian and Andrea. Then finally it was her. I stood there captivated by her beauty as Maia walked down the aisle in the beautiful white dress.

"I do," She spoke clearly. 

"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride," He said. I grabbed Maia's face and kissed her passionately. We we parted he finished with "Ladies and Gentlemen, Mr and Mrs Pottorff." With that we all walked back down the aisle. 

Kian was right, a few years ago I never would've expected it to end like this. And maybe it wasn't ending. But a few years ago I could've sworn to you I would be walking with Sami and not Maia. I'm always gonna love Sami and part of me knows Sami was the one I should've been with right now. But Maia was the person I loved right now. And she was here. She wasn't dead. And she wasn't leaving me when times got hard. Maybe she's the person I was always meant to find. Man, I'm so glad I didn't kill myself the night of Sami's funeral....
