(Ok, so if I'm gonna follow my own pattern, this is now a SNO...my own order is confusing me.)

Laughter and chatter filled the throne room as werewolves, vampires, and alike partied the night away. Mitch was, of course, stealing the spotlight, which was why Jackson and Bryan were hanging out in the corner alone, talking to each other. Unfortunately, due to Jackson's very odd fashion sense, they were getting noticed. A lot. Mainly by the ladies. So Bryan decided to leave before he got territorial and jealous...not to mention wet his pants to mark his territory.

He went back to his house and flopped down on his couch. Laughing at Brandon's dancing and talking with Jackson for so long had wiped him out. And, of course, since he had drunk a lot of alcohol, he was going to have one heck of a hangover in the morning. As he drifted into sleep, he had dreams of a bat and a wolf running and flying into the night...

When he woke up, he quickly stumbled into the bathroom, peed, and threw up. He stretched, threw up again, and went to start training for his next hunt. 

To his surprise, Jackson was there instead of Xylo and Relena. He was sitting on the fence, swinging his legs and staring at the ground.

"Oh, hey Bryan," He said when he saw him.

"Uh, what are you doing here, Jackson? Does Mitch know?"

Jackson gave him a look. "He shouted at me for just inviting you guys to the castle last night. Imagine what he would say if he knew I was in the Pack Haven."

Bryan couldn't deny that. "So, why are you here?"

"Well, I just needed to get out of there. Between Mitch, vampire hunters, and the stress of living there, I couldn't take it much longer. I'd rather be here."

"You realize that Xylo is gonna kill you, right? And Relena too?"

"Do you think I care?"

Another valid point.

Bryan sat by him and talked for about half an hour before training together and just hanging out and having fun. It was an odd friendship, and budding relationship, but it worked. A lot of things would try and get in their way: the Beta Trials, Xylo and Mitch, the fact that Bryan was a werewolf and Jackson was a vampire, and their own pride. But they would make it work, as they had in two other universes.
