Four

Tak Gu wasn't about to jump, he knew it.

He was so sure of himself, always had the nuance in every people that he met in his rather dull life sometimes and keeping it exciting by putting punishment to those who offended him and his friends.

It's a fun test for him to see the strongest out of them.

But at that time as Heeseung kept on questioning him why he was letting this continue, he had been wronged by Tak Gu doing the opposite of his guess and jumped.

His heart stopped along Sunghoon and Jake and Heeseung who closed their eyes quickly in succession then the girl from before becomes the hero of the day after her unexpected move.

It all happened so fast in Jay's eyes. It nearly took him off a second not to see the girl holding back the collar of the boy while his body was dangling over the side of the building and the people below almost made him deaf at their frantic shouts for her to lift the boy up.

She did more than that. She pulled him up quickly back to the rooftop grounds, their bodies colliding on each other but there was only a short moment before the girl hugged him and Tak Gu hugged her back, crying loudly in the end.

Jay who is clearly surprised at this thing that never happens before as the end for any victims of the red card, stood up from his chair and looked closer to the screen, not familiar to the girl.

She wasn't a very pretty girl like Yuna who he knows had the biggest crush on him but as soon as he saw the girl smiled to Tak Gu, realization sunk in that there was something different about her.

Something deeper and darker.

After the fiasco of his friend's show, he can't stand being around him longer for the day, so he headed out of their private classroom. He noticed girls giggling and calling for him, he smiled at them and greeted them good afternoon.

They were all too happy to receive the attention, he quickly decided to distance himself from them. From the girls who seems like the least bit disconcerted at what happened in the rooftop just an hour ago.

A boy nearly suicide to death and yet they were not even worried about it.

He headed for his car and decided to drive home, but his footsteps walking towards it in the parking lot had slowed a litle the moment he saw the girl from nearby

The girl who saved Tak Gu.

She walks with the said guy in the nearest gate out of school, and Jake wondered why he even bothered to watch the two for a little while.

Before Tak Gu continues on his way from another direction, he hugs the girl good bye and he hold on her so tightly under the cloudy that for a moment Jake feel as if this was like a view of the boy's salvation.

But then all of a sudden, he felt a tear fell down from his eyes and just as he lifts a finger to his face to wipe it, the girl pull back quickly, say good-bye, and stomped away wordlessly.

Jake doesn't know why he suddenly felt sad. But then he couldn't shake the thought away of some far memory from before.

A memory flashed in his mind before he could even deny it.

In the next few days, the news of Shin Hwa High plastering the faces of the F4 boys everywhere were the hot issue in the internet and the broadcasting news, it puts them quickly in the bad light.

As for the good light, there was also the coverage which was more favored and more popular not only in Korea but in the internationally, about the so called Wonder Girl who saved the apparent victim of the major bullying problem at the prestigious school.

Park Jisu, the mother of Jay as inside her office, clutching on her head, stressed and wondering what she needs to do in order to stop her son's usual fun. Because of the news of his so called group F4, many shareholders were threatening their company on not associating themselves with Shin Hwa if this issue continues.

Her thoughts was cut off when her assistant, Mr. Jeon, looking respected in his crisp suit, stepped in and bowed to her before informing her of the expected.

"The President wants to speak with you, Madam"

"When?", she asks calmly, but really on the brink of an anger over her son's carelessness.

"This afternoon, Madam"

Frustrated at the early meeting to the President, she let out all her anger at once, throwing the newspaper where the picture of the girl named Ryujin awkwardl hurrying away from the press.

"Do you know why the public opinion is frightening? Because they're all ignorant!"

Already used to this kind of outburst from his boss, Mr. Jeon asked calmly, "Do you have any ideas, Madam?"

"Search for this wonder girl and give her a full-scholar ship at Shin Hwa along the benefit of free accomodations, free uniforms, anything to keep us back on the good light"

With that clear order, she dismissed her assistant and went back to work.

If she will not distract herself, she may nearly go home and giveΒ her only son her own piece of mind.

One important fact about me: I don't like being put in the social network.

I don't even have any social medias except for maybe an Instagram which was put on a private, of course, and it's only my way to be kept up updated on some of my favorite singers like Taylor Swift and Avril Lavigne.

What I didn't expect when I met Yuna who in her persistentness - did I let become my friend, the only one, in the restaurat of her own family - showed me in her phone what is going on in the internet.

There were photos of me all over, photos of me saving the bullying victim in the rooftop.

"I didn't know that my new friend would be the hero of the day, I'm so proud", Yuna cheered, leading me to the table in the back, where a flat screen TV suddenly showed the news of Shin Hwa High going through an investigation.

They also suspended classes for a few days which becomes my chances to went forth on all the tourist spots but because I'm saving money, I'm here instead at the side of Yuna turning to watch the news when it mentioned the F4, the video of them avoiding the press with their several guards circling around, to make them easily go inside their houses.

"Aren't they all good looking even at this kind of spotlight?", Yuna said wistfully, quickly disgusting me.

Looking at her with my best judgemental eyes, not caring if I will ever hurt her feelings, I said my own opinion. "Seriously? What is with them that you like? Yes, they do look like a princes coming out of fairytale but what they had done to Tak Gu was over the top, it disgusted me"

"Like I told you Ryujin, there is more than meets the eye about F4", Yuna says in her convincing voice, but it wasn't working on me. "One day, friend, one day you will see who really they are and you will tell me how you have been wrong all along"

Giving her a strange look, I shook my head and smirked at her, saying this as a challenge. "One day, Yuna, one day I will say to you that I told you so that this F4 guys were nothing but an assholes"

Then Yuna finding no words to reply, left me there on my own, clearly annoyed or was she angry? Maybe. Did I care? A little.

How was I supposed to know that I hurt her feelings? I hated that. I hated having a friend.

How could I not be? In order to be wildly wanted to be a friend, you have to fake it and pretend that you understand someone even when you do not. I just wasn't that much of a good actress when it comes to the rich people like Yuna.

They were a mystery to me in some way. Well, I think everything and everybody was a mystery.

In the case of Tak Gu, he wasn't a mystery. He is like me, broken and bitter to the true reality. Saving him was not my plan. Befriending him in the next day wasn't on my mind either.

And this thoughts about the other people is what I hated making me decide to step out of the restaurant, only to be met with camera flashes as the reporters from before approached and like before, I quickly run from the opposite direction and they, persistent like Yuna, followed me closely, demanding answers to their question.

When I get closer to my apartment, I stopped to see a fancy black limousine parket in front and was surprised to see a man in a black crisp suit stepping out and he spoked out, bowing to me a little.

"Hello Miss Ryujin or should I say, the saviour of Tak Gu"

This is what I understood before I even led him inside my room: he is going to change my life in some ways. When he said the word of scholarship, he meant it.

And one more thing that I understood, this help will come from the Park family.

I didn't know what to do with that piece of information, knowing that somehow, I now owe a big deal to the freaking hated person for me in the universe and it is none other than Park Jay.
