Hello! My name is Cherry Cola, Today I'm going to be talking about a book called Dear Dumb Diary, (Me! Just like you, only better) by Jim Benton. I rate this a five because it's a funny, fun, entertaining book. The main character is Jamie Kelly, who is a student at Mackerel Middle School. Jamie is witty, she isn't very cunning, so sometimes things Isabella and Angeline do go right over her head because of this, she can be a little naive. Jamie loves to draw and write. Her best friend is Isabella Vinchella who is depicted as a bully. Jamie Kelly continues to write in her "dumb diary" this time she is loving music. In art class the teacher gives the assignment to draw a poster for music you like, things get crazy! On top of that, her birthday is coming and she can have a party! She has no idea who to invite or what to do at the party. How will Jamie solve these problems read to find out? My three emojis are stealing, music, gorgeous. I picked gorgeous and it's on page 6 because it tells me that Jamie said that her art teacher (Miss Anderson) is so beautiful and gorgeous and ravishing that women have a strong natural impulse to push her in front of the train. I chose a music emoji and on page 7 because Jamie loves to do music and she was so happy when her art teacher assigned her and her class to do a music poster. Jamie knows exactly which one to do and she has a real connection to this band because Jamie was making a sound long before she ever heard of them. The last emoji I picked was stealing because She loves one band called frustrated and tired and a little disgusted and Jamie keeps switching singers but everyone is doing the same thing as her, even her friends Isabella and Angeline. Viki Vonder was wearing Jamie's favorite band at school, so Jamie decided to prove that she is the ultimate fan and the band belongs to her. Hope you guys enjoyed it!
