Four pairs of eyes turned wide as soon as they saw the figure that appeared at the door. Irene, Taeyeon and Yerim looking in disbelief while Mr. Bae looked really surprise because this is first time he meet the CEO of Hexagon International

"Kang Seulgi?"

"You're Kang Seulgi, right?"

Mr. Bae turned his face to his daughters "Do you guys know her?"

"Yes"

Seulgi clearing her throat makes the Bae family pay attention back to her "Can I sit?"

"Yes, sure. Have a sit"

Seulgi leisurely sit on the couch beside Wendy "Oh right, that one is Vice CEO of Hexagon, Tiffany Hwang"

"Wow, so pretty," Taeyeon says quietly. She slightly slap her cheek to gain back her focus "Have a sit, Ms. Hwang"

"Let me introduce myself to you all. I am Kang Seulgi, CEO and Chairwoman of Hexagon International"

"This is for real, right?" Mr. Bae still can't believe the fact because of the way Seulgi dress up not showing that she is a CEO

"Yes, Mr. Bae. You must be hesitant to believe it because of my outfit, don't you?" Seulgi chuckled, "Mr. Mark is not wearing fancy clothes but he is a billionaire now. Wendy. Continue"

"Okay boss" Wendy took her Ipad and showed a picture to Bae family "She is the sole heiress of Hexagon. Daughter to Kang Woojin and Jung Jiyeon. This is her official portrait and another one is her family picture"

"So hot" Yerim commented in low voice

"Why do you never show yourself to the public, Chairwoman? Everyone curious to see the leader of Hexagon" Mr. Bae questioning

"I don't think it necessary to show it. I'm comfortable working behind my trusted staff"

"Oh I see. Chairwoman Kang, Attorney Son and Ms. Hwang, may I know what you want to drink? I'll ask our secretary to make it"

"Coffee for me" said Tiffany

"Me too" Wendy added

"What about you, chairwoman?"

"She has her own coffee. Ask the secretary to enter"

"Okay" Taeyeon quickly call her secretary

Wendy gives a sachet of coffee powder to Secretary Seo "This is coffee for Chairwoman Kang. Add half hot water and half warm water because she can't drink too hot. Don't put sugar or creamer because the coffee itself already has creamer. Make sure you remember the measurement that I said. Chairwoman will reject it if the taste not suit her tongue"

"Noted ma'am"

"She is so bossy and demand" Irene whisper to Taeyeon and received small nods from her older sister

"Shall we begin our discussion?" Tiffany speak

"Sure Ms. Hwang," Taeyeon quickly answered before her father. She really excited to interact with the Vice CEO since the woman enter earlier

"First of all, can you explain the details of the problem that happened to your skincare product?"

As the President of Bae Corporation, Taeyeon steps forward to explain the problem to their guests. She did not leave any details including Mr. Kim was appointed as a production manager even though he still has little experience and doesn't meet the requirement to be the manager. Tiffany and Wendy have two way communication with Mr. Bae and his daughters but Seulgi just focus on her phone, playing mobile game

"Do you punish him as he deserves?" Seulgi's question makes everyone turn to her. She still focuses on her game. Wendy signaling the Bae to answer the question even though Seulgi not looking at them

"Yes, chairwoman. We already give him punishment he deserved and make him paid generous amount of money"

"You should go harder on him but it's okay, maybe you are not used to cruelty. If it's me who he play with, he already become a history"

Seulgi's reaction gave goosebumps to the Bae family. Tiffany and Wendy nods their head as sign that Seulgi mean her words

"What about your company, especially your financial situation now?" Seulgi gives her phone to Wendy. Now she looked up with serious expression

Mr. Bae looked sad "Investors and shareholders leave one by one. Our funds are also running low. We have to pause the production of our product. Our staff are already asking about their salary this month just in case we'll cut their salary to save cost. We still don't have answer for that"

Seulgi, Tiffany and Wendy looking at their Ipad as if they communicate through that device. The Bae family patiently waited for their next response. After few minutes, Seulgi give confident and firm nods to Tiffany and Wendy then they put down their Ipad

"After make final decision just now, I would like to acquire shares of Bae Corporations" Seulgi stated

Mr. Bae, Taeyeon and Irene were shocked by Seulgi's statement "Do you mean you want to acquire the entire share?"

"Yes, entirely"

"We'll lost everything if you take this company" Mr. Bae protest

"I do this for your business. I want to save this business. My initial plan was to invest but seeing your company's situation getting critical, I changed to plan B. I can invest a large amount of money but it can't help to gain society's trust immediately. You guys know what people's perspective is about your product and your company following the big accident. The growth will be slow. I decided to use the acquire method to make it easy for you to grow again. Public has faith in us. Hexagon never fails them. If Bae Corporation belongs to Hexagon, your product will be accepted by the public in no time. Hexagon can easily shut down negative thoughts about your product. You don't have to know how we do it. Just follow what my team does, I guarantee the curve will go up sharper. Hexagon have large connection and strong influence in society" Seulgi explain firmly while look deep into Mr. Bae eyes

After a few minutes of silence, Seulgi spoke again "I give you all three days to think and discuss about the acquisition of Bae Corporations shares by Hexagon. I'll come again in three days after my trip to Switzerland. Discuss among four of you and with the board of directors. Think about the pro and con if you decline my offer and what you could get if Bae Corporations join Hexagon. Remember last year's share acquisition happened in Chinhwa Property by Hexagon International. Look what happened to Chinhwa Property now. What is their position amongst property companies and the stock market in Korea? How much do they make throughout the year? How do they recover the loss after a large money embezzlement case in their company? If you don't know about it, go find out what make them a great property company"

Seulgi stood up after finishing speaking "I want to go now since there is nothing else to talk about. Think carefully before making a final decision. There is no coercion here because all decisions are in your hands, especially you, Chairman Bae and President Bae. My staff won't contact you in these three days to give you space to make a decision. We will come back in exactly three days"

"Thank you for the offer, Chairwoman Kang. We'll consider it. Let me walk you guys to the lobby"

"I'm sorry, chairman. You don't need to send us away for the sake of our chairwoman's privacy. We don't want to gain attention that could make her uncomfortable" Wendy apology

"Okay then, thanks again for coming" Mr. Bae and his daughter bow politely

"You're welcome" Seulgi smile before she leave with Tiffany and Wendy

After the door closes, Bae sisters plop their bodies onto the couch "I still can't believe Seulgi unnie sits in front of us as a Chairwoman of Hexagon. I almost thought she is different person earlier" said Yerim

"I also feel like dreaming" Irene added

"Did you guys meet her before this?" Mr. Bae asked curiously

"Yes appa, we met her by accident. She is totally a different person unlike what we saw just now. No one expect she is a chairwoman of big company when they meet her outside"

"She really keeps her identity from her public. We're lucky that we are able to meet great people. A lot of people out there wish to see her but she come to us without we invite"

"You're right, appa"

"Appa, what do you think about her offer? Will you accept it?" Irene asking

"Her offer seems promising. As she said about Chinhwa, that company gained back their track in no time after Hexagon acquired their shares last year. They have become a great property company now. However, we can't make a decision without discussing it with the board of directors. We will have meeting with the board tomorrow to discuss about this matter"

"Okay appa"

"I'll go back to my office. See you guys during lunch"

"Alright" Mr. Bae leaving his daughters

Taeyeon sits straight after her father leaves "Yerm, go find out about Seulgi. I'm so curious about her"

"You still don't believe she is the chairwoman?"

"No, I believe her. I am only curious about her personal life. We should know a bit about her in order to prepare ourselves to work with her. You see how she behaved earlier and how she interacted with her staff. She is so different from any other CEO I ever met. She plays games during important meetings but her ear listens carefully. What an amazing person" Taeyeon reasoning

"Okay unnie, I'll search for her SNS at least. Maybe it could help us to know about her"

"Good idea"

"We should go to the café where she works. Maybe we could find some info there" said Irene

"Don't you say you don't want to go there anymore?" Yerim nudging her unnie

"Aish, I said that when I'm mad. No matter what, we must go back to that café. I believe the café manager is one of the closest people with Seulgi"

"True, let's go there as soon as possible" said Taeyeon

Few minutes later, Joy came to their table. She join the sisters

Irene asked the next question "Why was she working here last time?"

"Seulgi unnie often spends her time in this café than at Hexagon HQ. She said this is her comfort place. Unnie loves coffee the most. Sometimes she personally made coffee for our customers. She also has her own coffee flavor. If you work with her and she wants to drink coffee, she'll give you a silver sachet that contains her coffee powder. I used to try it once. The coffee taste is so strong and savory. Totally different from coffee that we usually drink"

"We saw it when she went to our company a few days ago. Attorney Son give briefing to my secretary about the measurement of water to make her coffee and what she shouldn't add to her coffee" said Taeyeon

Seulgi unnie is flirtatious while Wendy unnie is greasy so they go well in making people believe they are dating. Seulgi unnie posts a lot about Wendy unnie and Karina because she doesn't really like posting about herself. Usually if her Instagram post is her own picture, it must be posted by Wendy unnie or Karina. Seulgi unnie only active in Whatsapp story because that place is private since only her contact can see it"

"Karina is her foster sister. Seulgi unnie met Karina when she was 15 years old. Rina is six years younger than her. She found Karina in a pitiful state at the roadside. Karina was abused by her stepfather. Seulgi brings her home. Her parents ask Karina to be honest about her condition. After that, the jerk stepfather was arrested by police because Mr. Kang reported him for abusing Karina. Seulgi's unnie parents want to send Karina to her relative but Seulgi urged to keep the little girl with them. Seulgi threw a tantrum to her parents until they said they will adopt Karina as their daughter. Seulgi unnie loves Karina unconditionally. Until now she is still babying Karina. She is true to her words that she'll love Karina no matter how much she grows up. If you think Wendy Unnie is the one that she loves the most, you're wrong. The one that holds the highest position is Karina, next is Wendy unnie and third one is Hexagon. Those three are her top priority"

"Tiff unnie is Seulgi's childhood friend, the same as her and Wendy unnie. She is like an older sister to both of them"

"Unnie not married yet" Taeyeon smile happily but that smile only last for few second when Joy continue her words "She currently dating with Jessica unnie, the fashion designer from LA"

"Oh I see" Taeyeon's heart shattered. She fail even before fight for her love

One of the staff come to their table "Joy noona, boss will arrived at the café in 15 minutes"

Everyone was looking at the staff "They arrived from Switzerland already?"

"Yes, Wendy noona said they landed this afternoon"

"Oh I see"

Seeing Joy still relax, the male staff continue "Boss will come here with Rolls Royce"

Joy gasped "Seriously?" the staff nods his head "Alright, I'll go downstairs ASAP. Make sure kitchen is clean and neat"

"Okay noona"

"Is Seulgi coming?" ask Irene

"Yes, she is on the way according to the staff. She came with a Rolls Royce meaning she came as our boss. Unnie will check reports and café situations. If she come with other transport that's mean she come for relax and will enter through main entrance"

"Seulgi unnie is really rich"

"You don't have any idea how rich she is. As you get closer to her, you'll know how rich Kang Seulgi. I have to go now. She'll arrive in a few minutes. You can see her arrival from here because she will enter through back door"

"Thanks for the information earlier, Joy-ssi"

"You're welcome"

Few minutes after Joy left, three luxury cars arrived at the back of the café. Two sedan at front and back while in the middle is black Rolls Royce

Bodyguards line up beside the Rolls Royce then one of them opens the door. Seulgi got out of the car. Her bodyguard bow to her

"Wow, Seulgi unnie is really cool and stylish. This is the first time I see her with a charismatic aura. I'm having goosebumps right now" Yerim said in amazement while rubbing her arms

"If only she appear in that style in office, I'm sure no one dare to look into her eyes" said Irene

"She already scary in that outfit, not to mention if she wear suit" add Taeyeon

"Boss, Bae sisters have been here since earlier. Do you want to meet them?" Joy asked after she finish presenting report to Seulgi

"Sure, if they are still here. I would like to catch up and grab coffee together. Bring them to our lounge if they not leave yet"

"Okay boss"

When Joy goes back to the second floor, the Bae sisters are still there. They immediately say yes to the invitation. Joy brings them to other stairs at the opposite side of the café that is for the café personnel only.

"Have a seat first. I'll call Seulgi unnie" said Joy

"Okay" the sisters sit on the chair waiting for Seulgi

Few minutes later, Joy came back with Seulgi. The monolid eyes girl greet the sisters with big smile

"Hello"

The sisters immediately stand up and bow their head "Hello Chairwoman"

Seulgi cackles "Yah, we're not in office right now. Don't greet me like that. I feel awkward"

"We should do it from now on because you're chairwoman"

"No unnie, I only use honorifics when I'm in office. If we're outside, just treat me like usual. I'm not chairwoman right now"

"Okay if you say so"

"If you guys want to eat, just tell Joy. She will ask our staff to make it" said Seulgi. Joy still stand beside her

"We ate already," Irene answered shortly. She still upset at Seulgi after the monolid called her goat

"Nope, you all must eat at least snacks to accompany our chit-chat. Sooyoung-ah, bring tea-time snacks set B for us and make iced coffee for me. Get the stock in my office if you run out of stock"

"I still have few sachet in my drawer"

"Okay then"

"What do you guys want to drink?" Joy asking the sisters

"Brown sugar pearl milk tea"

"Watermelon juice"

"Iced Americano"

"Okay" Joy tapped on her Ipad screen at menu list that connected to cashier PC

Before Joy left, Seulgi made an order "Sooyoung, make three kimchi fried rice, fruit salad and chicken soup for me, Seungwan and Jimin. I'll bring it back later"

"Noted unnie, why they not coming with you"

"They hit the bed as soon as we arrived at home because they did not sleep during our flight. They busy with movie marathon"

Joy laughing "Okay, I'll cook for you all"

"Make a portion for you too. I bought souvenir for you so you must claim it at home"

"Alright boss. Excuse me, I have to go now"

"Okay"

After Joy goes back to the kitchen, Seulgi turns again to the sisters. Somehow she noticed the sisters looked a bit awkward. They are not bubbly like when they met her before

"Ehm, first of all, I'm sorry if my sudden appearance as Chairwoman of Hexagon shocked you guys. I have no choice but to reveal myself to your family. I want to help fix the problem not because I know you guys but I know Bae Corporations still have a chance to gain public trust. My staff is investigating the case already. They said the public still has little trust in your product. However, the biggest pain is investors and shareholders. They leave without giving you guys a chance to fix the problem. Everyone are rushing to make conclusion even the problem is not too big" Seulgi sighs

"We're seriously shocked when you introduce yourself as chairwoman. We did not expect it at all. Kang Seulgi that we know is a barista at this café so the revelation last time is like a bomb. My family is really thankful that you came to help us. We appreciate your help. As you said, our biggest problem is investors and shareholders. They rushed to leave our company after the news came out. Even our biggest investor also leaves on the same day. If you are not coming, I don't know what could happen to Bae Corporations. We may not go bankrupt but we'll not be the same as before. Thanks again, Seulgi" Taeyeon said with sincerity in her eyes

Seulgi smiles warmly "My pleasure, unnie. I help as much as I can. I not going to talk about the acquisition farther but I hope our upcoming discussion going well"

"Sure thing"

"Hm, I haven't gone to see your little sister. I hope she not think that I lied to her" Seulgi giggle when she remember the little girl that close to her in their first meet

"Minjeong asked about you every day. Appa and eomma curious about whose person that she desperately want to meet" said Yerim

"Aigoo, I'm so busy lately that's why I have not met her yet. I hope I can go this weekend. I feel bad"

"Minjeong is easily close with someone who makes her comfortable. She kept saying Seulgi oppa, Seulgi oppa. Eomma thought Seulgi oppa is our boyfriend" add Taeyeon

"Poor thing"

Their conversation continues after the waiter and waitress come with their food. They spend two hours at the café before everyone decides to leave. During the conversation, Irene only speaks when necessary. Only Taeyeon and Yerim who crack joke with Seulgi

Seulgi and her team come again to Bae Corporation to hear the decision about the acquisition. Mr. Bae and his two older daughters waiting for Seulgi in Taeyeon's office. They want to welcome her at the lobby but remember Seulgi don't like attention, they only wait in the office

"Sir, Chairwoman Kang arrive" Secretary Seo open the door for their VIP

Today Seulgi dresses up formally unlike the first time she came. Now she have chairwoman aura in the expensive suit that she wear

"Shall we go straight to our main agenda?" ask Tiffany

"Yes Ms. Hwang," Taeyeon answered with a short smile. She still broken heart after knowing Tiffany is taken

Mr. Bae speak "After meeting with board of director and executive, we decided to accept your offer to acquire our company share"

"Very well" Seulgi smile crack on her face

"But chairwoman..." Mr. Bae paused

"What is it?"

"Board wants Joohyun to step down from her position. It is supposed to be effective immediately but I ask them to give it a chance until we talk to you. What do you think, chairwoman? Shall I obey them or beg for another chance for Joohyun?"

Seulgi immediately looking at Irene who lowered her head, looking so sad that she forced to step down from vice president position

"I can't be involved in this matter because you guys are not under Hexagon yet when the decision is made. I am not in the right position to agree or oppose the decision. However, we all know board have right to make decision and it's final" Seulgi say carefully

Taeyeon and her father nods their head slowly "So, that mean Joohyun must let go of her position immediately"

Irene looked at her father and sister "Don't worry, appa, unnie. I'm fine. I deserve it after my carelessness. I can work in other department"

"Irene-ssi, you don't have to sad about stepping down from your position" Seulgi stated

"Why?"

"Welcome to Hexagon!" Tiffany and Wendy say cheerfully

"What?" Irene confused as well as Taeyeon and Mr. Bae

"After this, pack your stuff in your office. Farewell with your staff. Tomorrow I will go to Hexagon. I'm waiting for you there"

"I'll work with Hexagon?" Irene pointed at herself

"Yup, Hexagon hold your back"

"Just obey to her" Taeyeon whisper

"Okay, I'll go to Hexagon tomorrow" Irene said

"Good" Seulgi gave a thumbs up to Irene "I hope all of you find the right person to replace Irene as vice president. I don't want to have another mistake in future"

"We'll do our best"

"Before we sign an agreement, I want to meet with the board of directors...today. One hour from now"

Taeyeon and her father looking at each other "Today? But chairwoman, some of them are busy"

Seulgi does not give a response, she looks at Wendy instead then the attorney whispers to Taeyeon "She gave all out as Chairwoman Kang today so we must obey to her order no matter what. She wear formal outfit that's mean she don't like somebody disobey her"

"Okay" Taeyeon whisper back

"Sorry Chairwoman Kang. I'll ask my secretary to arrange board meeting"

"Good" Seulgi showing side smile

Irene found herself in front of the Hexagon twin tower for her first day working. She never stepped foot to either one of the buildings but she heard a lot about it. The main building is entirely for Hexagon HQ while another one is open for rent. High rise penthouse and some luxurious restaurants are available in the second building. There are a lot of things in the next building but she can't remember all of it.

She enters the lobby and tells the front desk staff that she has come to meet with Chairwoman Kang. They immediately recognize her. She assumed that Seulgi informed her staff beforehand. The staff walk Irene to the top floor where Seulgi's office located

"Secretary Kim, Ms. Bae arrived" said the front desk staff to the secretary

"Okay" the secretary greeted Irene with a polite smile "Good morning, Ms. Bae. I am Chairwoman Kang's secretary, Kim Jisoo. Welcome to Hexagon"

"Thank you, Secretary Kim"

"Let's get inside. Chairwoman is waiting for you"

Irene followed Jisoo into the office. She was amazed as soon as she stepped inside. The office is two times bigger than her former office

"Boss, Ms. Bae arrived"

Seulgi looked up from her Ipad then she's beaming as soon as their eyes meet "Alright, you can go now, Secretary Kim" Jisoo bow to the boss before leave

"Have a sit, goat" Seulgi back to her annoying-self make Irene want to smack her head if she's not her boss

"I'm sorry to hear about your demote" Seulgi stare at Irene with sympathy

"It's okay, I'm fine with that. I'm just curious, why do you take me to work with you while I still can work at Bae Corporations as regular staff?"

"Since we will work at Bae Corporations from now on, I need someone who can assist me and give advice regarding the company structure and the entire business. You're the best choice since you know everything about your family business. I hope you can help me with everything. I don't really know about your family company since we never work together"

"Sure thing, I'll give my best"

"I will give you a special position. You will be my personal assistant"

"Okay"

"Your job desk is to assist me whenever I need you. Go anywhere with me. Always on-call because I'll surely need you regardless of time and place. Make coffee and snacks for me when I am hungry. Help me with documents when necessary. Since you have experience in business, I need your expertise in a few fields. Tiffany unnie has her own work while Wendy is not majoring in business so I trust you to assist me. However, your job not only here but at home and at the café too"

"You mean I must assist you when you're at home and when you're working at your café too?"

"Yep! You must prepare my clothes when I have important appointment, planning my daily meal, wake me up when I have early schedule, make sure my baby Jimin wake up early, make sure she not skip her breakfast and occasionally drive her to university when she is in spoiled mood"

Irene rolled her eyes "My not just hire me to be your maid"

Seulgi cackles seeing Irene expression "I have many maids at home so you don't need to be one of them. It's enough that you be my personal assistant...like really personal. You don't have to be my maid, not involved in business entirely and not doing work that makes you stressed out. You also don't have to wear formal outfits like usual. Just wearing semi casual clothes is enough. I'll notify you if we have formal occasion to attend"

"Okay" Irene doesn't want to debate because she knows she'll not win it. She just follow whatever Seulgi ask her to do as long as it not harm her

"You'll work closely with Wendy, Joy, Solar unnie and Jisoo. I hope you guys make friends. They are fun to be with. Make yourself comfortable, okay?" Irene nods her head "Jisoo will bring an agreement for you to sign. Let me show you your table"

Seulgi walked to the opposite side of her office where another table was located. Irene don't notice it earlier since the space separated by partition

"This is your table. Wendy and Jisoo decorated this space yesterday. I asked them to put a partition here so that you can have privacy since we're in the same office. Do you like it or something that you want to change?"

Irene looks around then shakes her head "No, this is more than enough. Thank you for preparing this"

"You're welcome. For your first day, Jisoo will give you a tour. After lunch, we went to a café. I'll introduce you to my staff"

"Noted"

"I guess you know that you must come to my house every morning because your job will begin at my house. I'll let you know if you don't have to come early"

"Yes, I know"

"I suggest, if you don't want to go back and forth that surely tiring you, you can sleep at my house like Wendy and Jisoo. They occasionally sleepover when we need to work on urgent documents until late at night. You can consider my suggestion. I have many empty bedroom for you"

"I guess not now. Let see how it goes after few weeks"

"Okay if you say so. Starting from tomorrow, my driver will pick you up then I'll drive you home after our schedule is over. Our schedule is flexible so you may be able to go home earlier than usual. You're my right-hand woman so your schedule is similar as mine"

"What about salary?"

"Salary is the same as secretaries because your position is also in their group. Don't worry, even you not working like them, I not going to give you salary that you not deserve"

"Okay"

"You may do your own stuff now. You can sleep too if you're bored. I have a personal pantry behind my desk. You can lounge there too. Everything is in the house. Don't hesitate to eat or drink. I want to go back to my table and continue watching Business Proposal" Seulgi grinned. Then she skipped her table. Irene speechless as she heard the last sentence. She thought Seulgi was concentrating on her work earlier. It turns out she is watching a drama. Irene goes to her table to find out what she can do while waiting for Jisoo to give a tour around the office. Maybe she should start watching latest drama like Seulgi or search for best Netflix series to fill her leisure

Two weeks had passed since Irene started working with Seulgi. She slowly adapted to her new job. She thought it'll be hard but as she does different things every day, she enjoys it. She did not come home tired like back then. If she arrives early, she can help her mother cook or spend time with her younger sister. Her new job is fun and relaxing

Seulgi treats her nicely when they are with their friends but when both of them are alone, Seulgi's annoying side will come out. Seulgi still calls her goat when no one is around. The monolid eyes owner loves to tease her every now and then. She became good friends with Wendy, Joy and Jisoo. Those bubbly girls are so fun to be with. Irene is happy having new friends. As for Karina, at first Karina showed her dislike to Irene because of the incident at the café back then. After Seulgi told her that Irene apologized then Karina behavior changed totally. She is very clingy to Irene. She obeys Irene whenever the older girl asks her to eat or wash up when she arrives at home. Sometimes, she asked Irene to teach her cooking since Irene is a good cook. According to Irene, Karina is a sweet girl

Today Seulgi is scheduled to have a meeting with the heads of companies they invest in. Since Karina slept over at her friend's house, Seulgi told Irene to go directly to Hexagon. Irene waited for Seulgi's arrival for 10 minutes already. The Chairwoman hasn't shown up. Wendy also there waiting for the boss

"Unnie, you should try calling Seulgi again. If she gets stuck in a traffic jam, we'll postpone the meeting until she arrive" said Wendy. She is also nervous because this is the first time Seulgi has come personally to this meeting. Usually Seulgi only send representative

"This is third attempt, if Seulgi not answering, I don't know what else to do" Irene bring her phone close to hear ear hoping for Seulgi to answer

Meanwhile at Seulgi's house...

Seulgi did not bother to answer quickly when she saw her phone ringing showing Irene's name on screen. She still relaxed while having wine. She currently have bubble bath in the bathtub

"Halo~"

"Yah Kang Seulgi, where are you? Meeting will start in five minutes. You supposed to arrive by now"

"Calm down your tits, baby. You replace me on meeting"

"Seulgi, I don't have any right to represent you. Okay fine, we have Wendy. She can do it"

"No, I want you. Bae Joohyun, not Wendy. Wendy comes as Attorney Son. You on my behalf"

"But..."

"This is Chairwoman Kang order"

"Hm, okay. I hang up now"

Irene hang-up without waiting for Seulgi's response. The chairwoman sip her wine and relaxing her body in the bathtub

Irene and Wendy go to the meeting room where businessmen and businesswomen are waiting. Everyone looked at them with curiosity, especially Irene because she sat in the chairwoman's place. Mr. Bae proudly smiles at his daughter. He know that Irene get well treatment in Hexagon

"Are you Chairwoman Kang?" asked one of the businessmen

"No, I am her PA. Chairwoman Kang is not able to attend our meeting because she has another emergency schedule" Irene answered politely. She does not stutter at all since she used to go through this kind of situation. She is not new to meeting and stuff after all

"If she can't come personally, she should just postpone the meeting instead of sending a representative. Why would she keep acting like a coward? What is she up to?" the arrogant look man keep bombarding provocative question making Irene, Wendy and Tiffany looking at each other

"We're sorry, Mr. Nam. This is Chairwoman Kang's order. No one can disobey" Wendy step in before the old man getting stubborn

"I don't care. If she is not coming today, this meeting will not happen!"

"What do you say, Mr. Nam? This is an important meeting and this is also not the first time the chairwoman is not coming. Why do you take it seriously? Her assistant is also capable. They never fail us" said one of the businesswomen

"Hey, how long do we want to be fooled by her? We work for her but we don't know whom we work for. What if she is not a good person that someday could bring disaster to our business?"

Irene and Tiffany want to call security to stop Mr. Nam retaliates but Wendy shakes her head. She secretly makes phone calls to Seulgi. The Chairwoman is listening to Mr. Nam badmouthing her

"What else are you guys waiting for? We should launch a protest until she show up" Mr. Nam looking at his business colleague with tense face

Door burst open showing an unfamiliar figure staring sharply at the 60 years old man who was trying to provoke his colleague. Everyone except Irene, Wendy, Tiffany and Mr. Bae are confused seeing that person come in casual clothes

"Who is it this time? Another representative?" Mr. Nam mocking Seulgi

Seulgi takes off her face mask then gives it to her bodyguard "I am Chairwoman Kang Seulgi of Hexagon. You desperately want to meet with me. Now tell me what you want"

Mr. Nam laughing evilly "You said you're chairwoman?" he looked at Irene and Wendy "Hey, are you two desperate until you ask this kid to disguise as Chairwoman Kang?"

"She is Chairwoman Kang" Wendy stated

"Chairwoman? Dress up in this kind of clothes that looks like she is a high school student?"

Seulgi sends a signal to Wendy then she approach Mr. Nam "Is it wrong if I dress up like this? Will it give an effect to profit or money if I dress up in these clothes? If it is, then why do you still depend on my company? Why can't your company stand alone if wearing a suit is a matter of business? What's the point of dressing like you if your behavior is unethical and arrogant? I guess you never heard my company losing money or my business partner running away just because I wasn't wearing suit"

"Just in case you still don't believe I am Chairwoman Kang, look at the smart board" Seulgi pointed at the smart board

Everyone looked at the smart board as Seulgi instructed. Mr. Nam legs weakened when he saw the portrait of Seulgi with her parents who they know as the founder of Hexagon. Mr. Nam immediately kneeling before Seulgi

"I am sorry, chairwoman. I made big mistake" Mr. Nam voice shaking in fear

"That's good that you know you made a big mistake. I also don't want to make a big mistake anymore" Seulgi statement making the elder look at her. She smirks before continuing "I don't want to deal with your company anymore. From this moment, I cancel my investment in your company. Hexagon has nothing to do with your business. Get lost!"

"Chairwoman, please give me a chance. I regret my action"

"I do not tolerate someone who insults me. You make the wrong move when you raise your voice to my PA and my attorney. My PA is a shadow of me. She did everything that I ordered. If you shout at her that means you shout at me. Whatever she said comes from me so if she wants you to die that means it's me who wants you to do so! Now get lost! Bambam! Jackson! Throw this old man out of this building!"

Two muscular men in suits enter then they grab Mr. Nam arms. That old man was not able to say anything. His gaze looked empty and lost. The others not dare to look to the front

Seulgi speaks again after Mr. Nam is brought by her bodyguard "This is the last warning to the rest of you. Don't ever question my actions because it has nothing to do with you. I am doing my best to make sure money flows consistently to your company so just do your own responsibility. Respect my PA because she is the second powerful figure in Hexagon. Even though she is new in Hexagon doesn't mean someone can disrespect her, understand?"

"Yes Chairwoman Kang" everyone give deep bow to Seulgi

"Good" Seulgi nods her head "I'm sorry that our first meeting turned out ugly. I came late because I'm busy with documents regarding another phase of cash flow to your company. I lost track of time last night and ended up waking up late this morning. By the way, I am Kang Seulgi. Daughter of Sir Kang Woojin. I am the heiress and successor of Hexagon. Nice to meet you all. I hope we work well together for a long time" this time Seulgi voice softer and she smile to business people in front of her

"Nice to meet you too, chairwoman. We're glad that we finally meet a great figure that holding our back all these while"

"I'm glad to meet you all too. Let's continue with our meeting agenda" Seulgi go to her chair while Irene move to the chair on her right side

During the meeting, everyone focuses on the presentation but not for Irene. She is shocked when Seulgi suddenly holds her hand under the table but she acts like nothing happened seeing Seulgi also still focus to the front. Seulgi palm is wet. Irene assumes that something is not right with her boss. Noticing Seulgi doesn't have a plan to let go of her hand, she holds Seulgi's hand back. Now they are holding on to each other tightly like a couple. Seulgi is not tense anymore after Irene holds her back. Irene took this chance to let it go but Seulgi stopped her. Irene sighs, then secretly takes a piece of tissue from her handbag and brings it to her left hand to wipe Seulgi's palm. Thankfully Wendy is focused on the front so that she doesn't notice Irene and Seulgi beside her. Irene unconsciously caresses Seulgi's hand, helping to sooth her nervousness. The meeting went well until the end

"Are you nervous during the meeting?" Irene sits down beside Seulgi after making a cup of coffee for the chairwoman. Seulgi lazing on sofa after they return from meeting room

"Yes, I am really nervous"

"Do you hold someone else's hand if you're nervous?"

Seulgi shook her head "No, I usually balled my fist. This is the first time I reflect on holding your hand. You know that I am nervous?"

"Yes, your palm is wet telling everything. Is it because this is your first meeting as chairwoman?"

"Yup, usually Tiff unnie and Wendy attend the meeting for me. This time I suddenly feel like wanted to attend the meeting"

"You should slowly show yourself to the people you work with. You can't hide your identity forever, don't you?"

"You're right. I'll slowly reveal myself so that incident like earlier not happen anymore"

"Good" Irene stare at Seulgi who drinking coffee beside her "You consume a lot of coffee I see"

Seulgi turned her face to Irene "You don't like it?"

"It not good for your health"

"Okay, I'll reduce consuming coffee but as replacement, make hot chocolate for me"

"No problem"

"We should shop for best cocoa powder brand for us"

"Us? You and me?"

"Yep, we share same pantry after all"

"Okay then"

"Goat" Irene rolled her eyes when Seulgi called her by that name again "Is Minjeong at home?"

"She go to kindergarten today"

"When will she go home?"

"Usually on 11 AM"

Seulgi checking her wristwatch "Let's pick her up. I want to play with her"

"Seriously? You don't have any schedule after this?"

"No, I'm free. Let's go"

"Okay"

"Oppa!" Minjeong let go of Irene's hand as soon as she saw Seulgi leaning at the car outside of kindergarten gate. Seulgi not go inside with Irene so she can give surprise to Minjeong

"Baby~" Seulgi carry Minjeong in her arms then kissing her face

"Oppa, I miss you" Minjeong cupped Seulgi face with her small hands

"Oppa misses you too, baby. How are you today? Do you have fun at school?"

"Yes oppa, I have fun with my friends and teacher"

"That's good. Let's go home, shall we?"

"Okay oppa!"

Seulgi open the front door since Minjeong will sit with Irene at the front but the little girl don't want to let go

"Oppa, I want to sit with you"

"Baby, oppa driving. You can't sit with her" say Irene

"I want to sit with oppa" Minjeong whine

"Shall I drive?" Irene asking Seulgi with apologetic eyes

"Is it okay?"

"Yes, no problem. I drove before she cried. Her voice is so loud that people might think we hurt her" Irene get out of the car then go to driver side

"Oppa, I want ice cream" said Minjeong after they leave the school

"Alright baby. Stop at the nearest supermarket" say Seulgi

"Okay"

Irene pulled off in front of the supermarket "You two go inside. I'll wait here. I'm lazy to go out"

"Okay, do you want to buy anything?"

"A can of green tea will do"

"Noted. Let's go baby"

"Yeay!" Minjeong cheer happily as she get what she wanted

10 minutes in supermarket, Seulgi and Minjeong return with two plastic bags full with drinks, foods and ice cream for Minjeong

"Aigoo, you two bought a lot"

"Minjeong picks everything. I just pay it"

"You can't stop her at all?" Irene widened her eyes

"No" Seulgi grin

"You could make her a spoiled brat at this rate" Irene sighs

"It's okay. I just spoil her once in a while" Seulgi caressed Minjeong's hair softly. The younger Bae focus on her ice cream that she ignore her sister and her oppa beside her

"Goat, let's pick up Jimin before we go to your house. She said evening class is cancel"

"Alright, let's go"

After picking up Karina, they go to Bae house. Irene's mother invites Seulgi and Karina to have lunch together. Both of them are excited to eat homemade food because it's been awhile since they eat foods made by a mother. This is the first time the sisters enter Bae house. Usually Seulgi only drive Irene until the front gate

Seulgi, Karina and the Bae family enjoying delicious foods made by Mrs. Bae. Seulgi trusts that Irene inherited her mother's capability in cooking. Irene cooked for her a few times and the taste is amazing. Seulgi always finished all foods that Irene cooked without leaving a piece like usual

"Yerim, Rina...are you two in the same faculty?" Mrs. Bae asking when she noticed Karina and Yerim looked closed with each other

"Yes eomma but different department"

"Yerim unnie is a popular sunbae. All students in our faculty know her" say Karina

"She must be caused a lot of trouble that make she known by everyone" Mr. Bae joking around

Yerim frowned "Appa, I am a good student in our faculty. You can ask Karina if you don't believe me"

"Unnie" Minjeong calling her sister that make all eyes goes to her

"Yes baby, what can I do for you?" Yerim looking at her baby sister

"I want to study with you and Rina unnie tomorrow" Karina and Yerim looking at each other upon hearing Minjeong statement

"Why?"

"I want to play with both of you and be a popular student like Yerm unnie" Minjeong say confidently

Everyone laughed because of an innocent statement from Minjeong. The younger Bae noticed that everybody laughing at her, she feel embarrassed

"Seulgi oppa~" Minjeong chin trembling

"Baby, what are you crying about?" Seulgi wiping tears on Minjeong eyes corner

"You're laughing at me"

Seulgi holding her laugh "No, we're not laughing at you"

"You lie"

"Unnie is serious, swear" Seulgi show V sign to the little girl

"Unnie, feed me" Minjeong melted in no time

"Alright, come here" Seulgi bring Minjeong to her laps and feeding the girl

"You're so whipped for her, Seulgi" Mrs. Bae cackle

"She like me so much" said Seulgi

"If only she is a grown woman, I bet Minjeong is in love with you" Taeyeon said follow by light laugh from the others

Today Irene and Seulgi left Bright Vision Café early because Seulgi's parents came from New York visiting their children. It's been a few months since Mr. Kang and Mrs. Kang visited their girls because of busy schedule. Mr. Kang is vice chancellor in one of the universities in the USA that makes them have to stay away from their children. Karina insists on staying with Seulgi in Korea even though their parents want her to stay in New York with them. She will visit her parents during the holiday. It is a must because her mother miss her badly and same goes to herself

"When did your parents arrive?"

"According to Jimin, they will be here in few minutes"

"Unnie" Karina voice distract their attention

"You guys just arrived?"

"Yes"

Mrs. Kang show up following Karina while Mr. Kang walk behind his wife "Seulgi"

"Mom, pops...how are you two?" Seulgi hugging her parents

"We're fine, sweetie"

"Hey, you two looked different from last time we met. You two gain weight, right honey?" Mrs. Kang nudging her husband arm

"Oh right, your cheeks look bigger" Mr. Kang pinch Karina cheek

"Thank to Irene unnie for making delicious foods for us"

The elders noticed someone unfamiliar beside their older daughter "Oh my, who is this pretty girl? Why didn't anyone introduce her to us?" Mrs. Kang excited seeing Irene looked so pretty

"Mom, pops...she is Bae Irene, my PA"

"Nice to meet you, sir and ma'am" Irene greet Seulgi's parents politely

"Nice to meet you too, dear. Seulgi and Rina never tell us that they have new friends. Can't believe that I saw an angel alive. You're so pretty" Mrs. Kang non-stop adoring Irene making the PA shy

"Honey, you made her uncomfortable"

"I just adore God creatures. God is in good mood when he create you, trust me"

"Mom, are we not pretty that you never praise me and unnie?" Karina jealous

"You two are pretty but Irene is prettier" Mrs. Kang said without guilt

Mr. Kang laughing seeing Seulgi and Karina face contorted "Aigoo, why are both of you not asking the maid to make drinks for us? I am thirsty"

"Oh man, I forget" Seulgi palm her forehead

"Let me make drink for everyone" Irene offer herself so that she can run away from the awkward situation

"It's okay, Irene. Maid can do it"

"Maids are busy cooking. I'll go and make juice. It won't take long"

"Okay if you insist"

Irene walk to the kitchen after that "Unnie, I want to join" Karina following Irene leaving Seulgi with their parents

"Seulgi"

"Yes pops"

"Do you have something with Irene?" Mr. Kang look at his daughter

"No, why?"

"You looked weird when you're with her earlier. Do you like her?"

Seulgi scratched her head. She knows she can't hide from her parents. They can read her well especially her father

"Is it obvious, dad?"

"You're an open book, baby. I can see from your gaze"

"Tell us if you like her. We can propose to her for you as soon as possible" Mrs. Kang gets excited suddenly. Her face look so bright

Seulgi blushing "Yes mom, pops...I like her"

"Did she know?"

Seulgi shakes her head "I never tell her. I don't want her to feel uncomfortable"

"Aigoo, you give up without trying. This is not Kang Seulgi that I know"

"This is a different case, pops. I never go through this situation before"

"Hm, you should learn from expert in melting woman heart" Mr. Kang proudly pointed at herself "I made your mom confess first before"

Mrs. Kang rolled her eyes "That is because you're dense and cowardly. You're worse than Seulgi. If she learn from you, Seulgi will never get married"

"Honey~" Mr. Kang whine

"Seul, when shall we meet her parents to propose to her?" Mrs. Kang back to Seulgi

"Whenever both of you are free"

"Tomorrow!"

"That fast?" Seulgi eyes turn wide

"Good thing shouldn't delay" Mr. Kang said

"We don't want anyone to overtake you. We don't know what the future holds so let's make quick moves. She accepts or not, we think later. The most important is we propose her for you and she also know that we sincerely want her to be a part of our family" Mrs. Kang said enthusiastically
