Superimpose

i. Open a white background and your PNG as the foreground. Go to the mask tab, select the gradient tool, and then swipe in the direction you want the gradients and double tap. Merge.

ii. Open a colored image of your choice (I used white) as the foreground and place it over the hair. Put on overlay mode and use the soft brushes under the mask tab to erase certain areas and if desired, adjust the hue. Merge when done. Next, open the gradient add on or another of you choice and adjust the hue as desired. Put it on darken and then erase areas that you don't want over your PNG. Merge.

iii. Open the other add on image or another of your choice as the foreground. Put it on screen under the transform tab and then erase areas you don't want using the soft brush  under the mask tab. Merge and save when done.

iv. Open in Phonto. Add your text in black font and then save and open back in Superimpose. Use the same image you used as the forground in step iii. or another of your choice and put it on lighten. You might have to erase some areas using the soft brush, but if not/when you're done, save, filter, and you're done!

I was asked how to do the Selena image on my new Talkative Taylor book, which was not made by me (made by dylanbrians on instagram) so I take no credit for that. Her's is more than likely a digital drawing/hardcore editing on photoshop, but this is a Superimpose way to do it, kind of anyways, haha.

question; favorite movie ever?
