The group went back to their only safe hangout spot, the apartment. Of course Ethan didn't go, he has 'econ'. Madison started feeling bad for what she did, only feeling bad for Chad. He was her other half, she can't see him hurting. She chose to warn him, while they made dinner for seven people.

"I think you should get out of the city. Y'know considering what happened to you last time? Like when you got fucked up. I-I wouldn't blame you if you wanted to go." Madison struggled to get out without remembering the events of last year, weak compared this year. "That's very thoughtful of you, but I don't think I'm anywhere." Chad told her, making her feel bad he needs to leave. "Don't say I didn't warn you." Madi mumbled under her breath but he heard.

"Ugh, will you too just make out already?" Mindy yelled from the other room. "Mindy, that is so inappropriate." Chad let out, Madison couldn't help but smile. "Oh whatever, get it over with!" Mindy told the two love birds. No matter what Madison would always believe they were meant to be.

"Madison!" Quinn shouted from her room, Madison immediately ran to her room. At the chance to leave the awkwardness behind.

"What's wrong?" An out of breath Madison asked while leaning on Quinn's doorway. "I'm scared to die." Quinn joked, because later she was gonna 'die' in order to get off the suspect list. "Your stupid." Madi responded still grinning from Chad and Mindy.
"I'll see you on the other side." Quinn said while Madison walked back out to the living room, where she overheard the conversation that ruined everything.

"This is should be so fun, a little slumber party with the core four." Chad enthusiastically told the rest of the core four. What the hell is a core four? "Core four?" Sam let out. "Did you just give us a nickname?" Tara questioned the guy she obviously liked, Madison's man. "I sure did. I mean, we've been through a lot together, and it's a pretty cool nickname." Chad explained, it felt like they forgot Madi even existed. She was there, she suffered with them! It should be the core five, fuck the core four.

A mad Madi, who was at any minute ready to blow over let her thoughts take control.

'PRIME SUSPECT SAMANTHA CARPENTER'

"We're hearing from sources inside the homicide division of a prime suspect is none other than Samantha Carpenter, one of the survivors of the Woodsboro killings in 2022. Seen here attacking a woman on the street last night." A old man on the news told everyone in the city of New York, what a fucking bitch Sam Carpenter is. On the tv was a video from the lady who threw the coke on Sam last night. "In the wake of the Woodsboro tragedy last year, rumors sprouted on the line that Carpenter was actually responsible for the killings, blaming the crimes on her boyfriend Richard Kirsch and Amber free-" The man on the tv got turned off by a sad Sam.

Madison rolled her eyes and went on her phone, following the group into the kitchen. Not listening to them anymore, she opened Reddit and the first thing was a picture of Richie that read.

She scrolled past that and the next one was a picture of Madi and Amber doing duck lips, that read.

The next one was a picture of Sam with devil horns edited on her, this one read.

"Sam's a killer, like her dad. #richiewasframed"

When Madison realizes that they were all looking at her phone. "Oh shit, I'm sorry." Madi lied then put her phone away. She didn't care about there feeling if they weren't gonna care about hers, she was a person to, a kid who didn't get loved.

"I know your not a fan of the way I've been handling things, and that I've been giving you a really hard time. But I can say that none of us can relate to what your experiencing, and I'm really really sorry that you have to do that alone." Tara apologized to her sister, Madison standing while watching from the corner of the room.

"It's not your fault. And I know I shouldn't care what people think, it just sucks being this hated."

"Hey. Hey, just a reminder not a single person in this room hates you. Okay? We have all been through some fucked up stuff, and we are coping with it differently, but I mean we moved here together for one very specific reason. We are a team." Chad told Sam while sitting down. That was a lie, Madison hated all of them not just Sam. Madison way of coping was killing, how fun.

Madison purposely zoned out so she wouldn't have to hear them go on about being team, I mean what happened to the team last year that would've done anything for each other, the team that included Madison. As she got a text in the group chat, she remembered she was apart of team, the triple fucking troop.
