"No matter how much I try...I just can't", I looked into the sky, and she looked at me intently. "I tried to temper my soul with flame...painted my personality with fire, but then you know...just like the mirror turns the image right to left, this world interprets my soul from right to wrong."

She spoke in a low voice and smiled, "And you know the reason". I nodded and sighed.

After a moment of silence she spoke, "It was wrong..", I looked at her, she smiled. "Fire can only damage you", she looked back at the sky.
"Carving your soul with diamonds...", she shook her head, "won't make you perfect, sweet heart."

I sighed, "But baaabe-", she cut me off, "No 'babe's and 'but's."

"But butts are nice", I smiled slyly. She closed her eyes in defeat but then turned to look at me suspiciously, "Don't tell me, you've been checking out butts of other girls, behind my back"

"What..NO!", I blushed furiously.

"Then how do you know butts are nice", she smirked, knowing where this was going.

"Um.. I..", I stuttered a bit, then spoke, "..yours, of course", I was red like a tomato, she smirked, making me blush even more.

"How many times?" Wait what? What kind of a question is this.

"Like... f-four, five times...since life", I confessed.

"What? Really?", a tone of amusement in her voice.

"Yeah, so?", I defended.

"Four, five times in three whole goddamn years!?" Wait what? "You're straight", she laughed.

"What the FUCK? I'm not. I'm just..not like other boys", I sighed. No I don't check out butts frequently, I'm not a pervert.

"What do you mean 'other boys'? You're not a boy!", "I'm not", "You're a girl", "I- ...yeah", I sighed.

I looked at her, she was smiling. Great! Make me feel my defeat in my stomach! I couldn't help but let a smile form on my face as well.

I jumped into my bed and hid my face in the blankets. Moments later, I felt someone lift up the blanket and crawl in. I smiled.

"Babe?", she spoke in a low voice.

"No 'babe's and 'but's", your tricks, played on your ownself, I thought and hid my smile.

"But butts are nice."

I know I was supposed to be posting poetry here, but I thought I can include cute little excerpts?

These are moments with my girlfriend I used to write in my journal. I just thought it's cute and enjoyable.
