MOUNT JUSTICE; OCTOBER 1ST, 18:13 EDT

Kaldur and Robin stood opposite each other on the training deck, fighting hand-to-hand, both of them in their civilian wear.

Robin jumps up aiming a kick at Kaldur's shoulder, which gains him 4 points. The Atlatean sidesteps it though, gaining 8 points.

Robin is quick to turn as soon as he touches the ground and turns back to Kaldur. Robin throws a punch, which Kaldur blocks, both of them gaining 4 points each for that. Kaldur raises his right hand throwing a punch, but Robin ducks under it. Kaldur is quick to follow up with another punch, but Robin does a back-handspring, dodging that one too. Kaldur gains 14 points for his combo while Robin 10 points for his dodge and it's x2 the second his hands touch the ground.

Kaldur charges at Robin, while Zatara and Captain Marvel stand at the side watching the two teens train, with smiles on their faces, the latter munching on an energy bar.

As Kaldur gets in close, he raises his left fist to punch Robin, but the Boy Wonder blocks it and attempts to palm-heel strike in retaliation, but Kaldur does his own back spring, avoiding it. Robin gains 8 points more, Kaldur also gaining 9 points. Robin throws a front kick, gaining 5 points extra, and moves closer to Kaldur.

M'gann, Conner, and Wolf approach the area, and the floor light turn off, marking the end of the training session, as both boys relax.

Kaldur and Robin watch as the two sent secret smiles at each other.

"You know they're a couple right?" Robin asked Kaldur quietly.

"I believe I knew before they did." Kaldur replied smiling.

Another steps of footsteps approach, and both boys turned to see Wally and Artemis walking in.

"Do we tell them?" Robin asked, gesturing to the second duo.

"It's not our place." Kaldur replied firmly.

Raven walks in last, her head in a book.

"Do you think she knows?" Robin asked gesturing to Raven.

"Most likely. There's hardly anything that can slip past Raven, though she may not actually care." Kaldur said amusedly.

The boys drop the relationship topic as the rest of the crew got closer.

"So if Zatara is our babysitter of the week, why's he still here?" Wally asked, looking up at Captain Marvel. "And why's he eating my snacks?"

RECOGNIZE:

Batman; 0-2

"Computer, national news." Batman said as he walked into the cave, not even pausing to take a breather.

"The initial attack was short-lived, but Metropolis was only granted a short reprieve." The News reporter announced, as giant plants attacked a scrapper.

"And despite the intervention of Superman and the Justice League, there seems to be no end in sight."

The camera switches to the top of a building where two people were trapped, but then Superman flew in to rescue them.

Hawkgirl appears on the scene, swinging her mace at a plant, one of the Green Lanterns morphed a sword to cut it, and Hawkman follow behind them, as they chase more of the plants away.

"Should we get out there?" Raven asked in her normal monotone voice.

"No. The League will soon have the situation under control." Batman answered firmly. "That's not why I'm here. According to your Intel, Sportsmaster supplied Cadmus' Blockbuster formula to Kobra."

"Who combined it with Bane's Venom to create Kobra-Venom." Wally added.

"Which the Brain used to create his animal army." Robin said.

"And upgrade Wolf." Conner also added, finishing the first sentence.

"The Brain also used inhibitor collars like the ones at Belle Reve penitentiary." M'gann chipped in.

"Batman, is it possible that plant thingy's on Kobra-Venom, too?" Artemis asked with a concerned look on her face.

"I had Green Lantern run a spot analysis. Divine cellulose does contain trace amounts of a Kobra-Venom variant." Batman said pulling up a holographic keyboard in front of him, which show the tests and the results.

"These cannot be coincidences, unrelated criminals are cooperating with one another worldwide." Kaldur said.

Robin pulled up his own keyboard, typing away as Batman replied to Kaldur's sentence.

"Exactly. It's now clear our enemies have formed some kind of secret society of SuperVillains. The attack on Metropolis is only the beginning."

"You got that right." Robin started, pulling up other plant pictures along with the one they saw in Metropolis. "Plant creatures have sprouted in Gotham City, Paris, Star City, Taipei-"

Suddenly all the screens went static, causing The Dark Knight and Robin to turn to the big screen.

"Dude." Wally gripes.

"It's not me." Robin says, typing just as quickly as he's speaking. "Someone's cutting in the satellite signal. All satellite signals."

The image cut back in to reveal the Joker, who tapped the camera lens as if to get everybody's attention.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we interrupt your regularly scheduled mayhem to bring you this important announcement…" Joker said, then turns the camera left to a group of other criminals. "From the InJustice League."

"We are responsible for the attacks on your cities." Count Vertigo starts as the camera zooms in. "If you wish to save them, a ransom of 10 billion American Dollars is required. Delivery instructions have been sent to the United Nations. There is no time limit. But the longer your governments wait…"

"The more we get to have our… jollies." The Joker said, bringing the camera back to himself. He laughs maniacally, as the video cuts off.

"Roger that, Aquaman." Batman said, talking into his comm earpiece. "The UN will prepare the ransom as a fallback, but it won't come to that."

Robin typed on his keyboard, rewinding the video to start counting the criminals on screen. "Count Vertigo, The Joker, Poison Ivy, Ultra-Humanite, Atomic Skull, Black Adam, Wotan. Seven heavy hitters. Probably behind nearly everything and everyone we've faced."

"There's your secret society." Wally murmurs.

"Not so secret anymore." Artemis added.

"Perhaps after India, they realized we would deduce the truth and saw no point in hiding any longer." Kaldur offered.

"Or maybe they're just a cover for the big boys. I don't really believe Joker and his merry band are smart enough to plan international crimes. It might just be a distraction. I mean, what kind of secret society comes out to reveal all it's secrets on television?" Raven analyzed, making Batman furrow his eyebrows, taking the girl's words into consideration.

"Well that was their mistake." Wally said in reply to Raven's concerns. "Right now I say we go kick some plant creature butt."

"The Justice League will handle the plants. I have a different job for this team." Batman said immediately.

"Oh, man." Wally whines, and then grunts as Artemis hits his hand.

"With the plants attacking so many locations simultaneously, there must be a central control system. Your mission is to destroy it."

"You realize what you're really asking them to do?" Zatara asked as he walked up to Batman.

"They're ready." Batman said most assured.

"Ready? Ready for what?" Wally asked making Artemis hit him on his arm again. "Ow! Will you cut that…"

"Hello, Wally." Artemis said, mimicking M'gann, with her own little bite in it. "If the big guns are fighting plants, who do you think we'll be fighting?"

"I don't know. I guess we'll…Ohhh." The speedster mumbled in realization.

"Well, Batman, I trust you're correct." Zatara said, yielding to Batman's orders. "Even though not all of them seem competent enough." He finished side eyeing Raven, who clenched her fist in anger at the sorcerer.

"I trust you can locate the enemy." Batman said, turning Zatara's attention away from the half demon.

"Indeed. Wotan's involvement suggests Sorcery is part of how the plants are controlled." Zatara said and turned to the team. "Robin, if you will provide a HoloMap, I'll search for signs of concentrated sorcerous activity."

A holographic globe appears in the center of the training room.

Zatara steps up and raises his hands towards the globe. "Etacol retnecipe fo yrecros."

A small red dot appears on the globe, on southern part of the US. "There. That is where you will find the InJustice League's central control system."

Robin looks at the readout in front of him. "Coordinates locked in. The Louisiana Bayou."

"We are on our way." Kaldur said firmly.

The Team takes off and Captain Marvel goes to follow.

"Captain Marvel." Batman called, cutting the hero short. "For this plan to succeed, the entire Justice League must be seen fighting the plant creatures. You, Zatara, and I are needed elsewhere."

BAYOU BARTHOLOMEW; October 1st, 18:52 CDT

The Bioship glides over the expansive swampland. A deafening silence loomed over the ship, as the young heroes were anxious for their mission. No one admitted it but the fact that they were going to face seven deadly criminals made them shake in their seats.

Miss Martian focuses on flying as Robin looks over his disks, both of them with equal intensities. Kid was eating a banana, when something caught his eye.

"What's in the duffel?" he asks Aqualad, confusion in his voice.

"Plan "B"." The Atlanean said firmly, finalizing the conversation.

"Ugh." Miss Martian groaned as she gripped her head, making the rest of the team turn to her instantly.

"You all right?" Superboy asked his concern dripping through his voice.

"Dizzy." She replied, almost confused by her own feelings.

"Martians get airsick?" Robin asked confused.

"She does look a bit greener than usual." Kid said.

"Not me, her." Miss M corrects.

"I feel fine." Raven said quickly, as she was the one who sat next to the Martian.

"Not her, the BioShip. She's trying to shield us, but…"

Miss Martian was cut off as a sudden surge of power cackled outside, and the Bioship lost it's camouflage.

"There it is, Adam. Go." Count Vertigo commanded as Bioship flew overhead.

Black Adam took off and punched the ship with so much power, sending it flying it into the swamp below.

The teens groan, trying to get themselves up. But just then vines come out from under the water and latch on to the ship, trying to drag it under.

Black Adam rips a hole in the top of the BioShip as something screams.

"He's hurting her." Miss Martian groaned, clutching her head.

Superboy stands up and punches Black Adam off the ship. But with the extra weight off, the vines continue to drag them under and water flood into the ship.

"No. No way I'm nearly drowning three missions in a row." Artemis saif as she puts a rebreather in her mouth. She shoves one in Kid's face.

"Wow. Uh, thanks." He said, taking it from her with a small smile.

"M'gann, we need to get out. Open a hatch." Raven said, as she created a bubble around herself, Superboy and Wolf.

"Hello, Megan. Of course." She said, hitting herself lightly on the head before growing gills on her neck. She swims to a wall and opens a hole in the ship.

"Out. Everyone out." Aqualad commands.

They swim through the swamp without being noticed.

The teens burst out to the surface, catching their breaths. They turn back to see the vines successfully drag the Bioship under the swamp.

"She's in shock. She'll need time to recover." Miss Martian informed.

Before anyone could react, the team screamed in pain, clutching their heads as they fell to their knees.

KF pushes himself to his elbows, looking up at the source. "Vertigo."

"Count Vertigo to you, peasant." the man growls.

Superboy stands to go and attack only to get knocked out by Black Adam, making him fall unconscious.

Aqualad stood to his feet and pulled out his Waterbearers, drawing water from the swamp and tossing them at Vertigo. They continue to hop almost like a jumping fountain while pushing Vertigo further away.

"Robin, Raven, Miss Martian, disappear. We will keep them busy. You two fulfill the mission objective." Aqualad ordered.

Miss Martian engaged her camouflage mode, Raven doing the same by manipulating the darkness around her, both of them disappearing. Aqualad barely has enough time to watch them go when he is hit by Black Adam's punch.

Wolf charges at the god, but he raised his arm to block, then he tossed Wolf at Artemis and Kid Flash who were charging at him. After doing that, he rushed forward to attack.

"I blocked contact with Aqualad and the others." Miss Martian said to her two companions, her voice unsettled. "Should we…"

"Sorry, that's not the gig. This is." Robin said cutting her off as he lowered his HoloGlove, and moved a branch out of the way revealing a glass atrium. "The InJustice League central control system."

Raven notices the spire-like plant growing through the roof. "Looks like that plant is acting as an antenna to control the other plants worldwide."

Unbeknownst to them, someone snuck up behind them.

"Well, hello." Poison Ivy taunts, her vines sprouting from the ground and holding the trio off the ground before they even have a chance to turn around.

Ultra-Humanite and Wotan lands behind her, the huge monkey cocking his gun with a low growl.

"And good-bye." Ivy muses as Miss Martian gets caught in the crosshairs.

Miss Martian's eyes glow green and the shot goes to the vines rather than to her.

The trio take off in opposite directions.

Wotan takes off after the half demon.

"Where are you going little mouse? Afraid of a little bite?" The sorcerer taunted and then casted a spell at Raven, but she dodged.

"See that's where you're wrong Grandpa. I'm not a mouse at all, I'm an albatross." Raven retorted as she threw a ball of magic at Wotan, the magic engulfing him.

But then the sorcerer walks out unscathed.

"Don't pretend you're in my league little mouse, I'm more trained in the mystic arts than your sorry self." Wotan said proudly.

"Oh really? We'll see about that." Raven said with a smirk on her face, her eyes glowing white as she charged.

"Robin, Raven, she's made contact." Raven heard Miss Martian's voice as the three of them suddenly converged in the same place, Wotan still on her tail.

"Artemis?" Robin asked, both confused and stunned.

"No." Miss Martian said, as they see the cage with their trapped teammates fly overhead.

The BioShip comes up behind Wotan and knocks him out of the air and into the lake.

The cage over Black Adam's head suddenly disappears, and all the teens let out a sharp yell as they are dropped.

Black Adam swoops around to grab Count Vertigo, but the Count is quick to berate him for his choice. "Not me. Stop those delinquents."

In the midst of the fight with the team, Poison Ivy suddenly pauses and yells in horror.

"My baby."

The plant antenna is covered in small red dots, which upon closer inspection are Robin's disks. All of them beep simultaneously, before they explode in three massive groups.

The plant screeches as it catches fire, turns brown, and collapses over the glass of the atrium.

At the center of the roof are Robin, Raven and Miss Martian. The Boy Wonder smirked, uttering just one word. "Timber."

Burning with fury, Poison Ivy shoots a dozen vines towards them with a scream.

Raven took off in the air, and destroys the plants with her magic.

A laser hits her in the back and knocks her down. Miss Martian and Robin duck from the next one and turned towards the source.

Atomic Skull and Joker now face them down.

"Children? Children foiled our plan?" Joker asked enraged, with his voice hoarse from the smoke. "Inconceivable. Unacceptable. Retributionable!" He raises his hand and lowers his voice. "That last one might not be a word. So sue me."

"Kill them. Kill them all." Count Vertigo snarled, as he directed Black Adam and Poison Ivy towards the teens.

Robin and Miss Martian help Raven back to her feet, just in time for them to dodge another one of Atomic Skull's lasers. As he lands in the marshy water he uses a wide sweep to try and take them out.

Ultra-Humanite moves slowly towards Superboy and Wolf. But then Black Adam swoops in and takes Superboy away, throwing the teen high into a tree, while Wolf charges at the gorilla.

Artemis looks around rapidly, trying to comprehend the multiple fights going on around then, but then she is hit in the back by Vertigo making her fall to her knees almost instantly.

"Leave her alone." Wally says rather darkly as he stands up, only to be hit in the back by Wotan.

"Enough!" the dark sorcerer commands as he starts to fly again.

Raven threw a ball of magic towards the sorcerer, but it faded around Wotan's protective bubble. The bubble falls as his hands glow blue, creating four lightning bolts and sending it towards the teens. The bolts knocked down Robin and Kaldur, but Raven created a protective bubble around herself just in time.

Dropping the bubble, she sent another wave of attack almost immediately, which sent the dark sorcerer flying backwards.

Artemis screams as she was hit and knocked out of Vertigo's range, though the villain doesn't attempt to follow her.

Wally is knocked back by the force of the blow.

Black Adam throws Superboy into a tree behind Ultra-Humanite that leaves him open to being hit by the lightning as well. Wolf is knocked off of a now sore Ultra-Humanite by the lightning.

Miss Martian flies around her camouflage, but once she uses her telekinesis to destroy some of Ivy's vines Wotan knows right where to aim, knocking her out of the sky.

Another lightning was aimed at Miss Martian as she fell out of the sky and Aqualad who was there, but Raven comes in between them and the lightning, creating a shield over them.

Aqualad looked back at Miss Martian as Raven held the shield in front of them.

"Plan B."

Miss Martian's eyes glow green, and the Bioship flies over to them, a small hatch opening, as a duffle bag falls from it into Aqualad's hands.

He unzips the bag and pulls the Helmet out, holding it over his head.

Wotan's stops his attack immediately, as he gazed at the object in Aqualad's hands shocked. "The Helmet of Fate."

"Oh shi…" Raven started only to be cut off by Wally's shouts.

"No, Aqualad! Don't!" But then the speedster was punched by Black Adam.

Superboy punches Black Adam in retaliation as Wally hits a tree with a resounding crunch.

Aqualad puts the Helmet on and Doctor Fate takes his place, floating over the swamp in all his glory.

Wally grunts as he stands up, his left arm stabilizing the right as he looked up to see Aqualad. "Oh, dude."

Doctor Fate flies up to come face to face with Wotan, his cape flowing behind him. "Wotan, you are mine." The Lord Of Order growled.

Wotan brings his hands together to shoot an orange beam at Dr. Fate. Fate's golden beam comes from his chest and where the two should meet, Fate burns straight through hitting Wotan in the chest. Pushing the dark sorcerer back until he is pinned against the greenhouse dome.

Before Fate could react, spirals of shadows come up like chains and tie Wotan down.

Raven flies up next to Fate. "Nice to see you again."

"Solvo quod reverto." Wotan chants, causing the chains to fall from him, and he guides them back to Fate and Raven.

Fate watches as the approach, seeming not prepared to do anything, then he puts his right-hand out just before the chains reach them and his symbol appears as a shield, destroying the chains on contact.

"Wotan has prepared for your return, Doctor." the sorcerer says as he floats back up to Fate's height. "Fulmina venite!" he chants as his hands glow orange and the beam strikes the shield.

Fate's shield holds out for a few moments, but it shatters and Fate is knocked back as electricity crackles over his body.

Raven growled, and flew over Wotan, chanting her mantra.

"Azarath Mentrion Zinthos."

The wave of magic hit Wotan as Dr Fate regained his balance and came to float beside Raven again.

Dr Fate, Raven and Wotan keep throwing attacks at each other.

"Surrender, sorcerer!" Fate ordered. "You cannot hope to defeat a Lord of Order." He strikes out with a beam shaped like his symbol that strikes Wotan in the chest and the sorcerer glows gold before disappearing.

Wotan reappears behind Fate with his hands already glowing and shoots a beam causing Fate to fly backwards. "I can defeat you, and I will."

Raven raises her hands above her head to retaliate, her hands glowing. "Azarath Mentrion…"

But then a new voice interrupts her.

"Ekirts natoW nwod!" A yellow beam of light hits Wotan making him fly backwards.

Zatara breaks through the clouds, armed with his wand. "Not tonight, Wotan."

Raven narrowed her eyes at the magician. "Showoff."

Emerging next are Hawkman, Martian Manhunter, Captain Marvel, Hawkwoman, and Captain Atom.

Wotan hits the ground hard in front of the greenhouse with a resounding thud.

Ultra Humanite looks at the sorcerer as he falls, giving Superboy the opening he needed, punching the gorilla in the face.

Robin continues to narrowly avoid the Joker's slashes before he jumps back when suddenly a Batarang knocks one of his knives out of his hand.

He looks up with a psychotic look as Aquaman, Batman, Green Arrow, and Black Canary all descend onto the scene as well, held up by one of the Green Lantern's platforms, with Captain Marvel and Superman flying in front of them.

Ultra Humanite and Atomic Skull slowly back up to either side of a still fallen Wotan and Black Adam.

The Justice League lands, now making a circle around the InJustice League, including Poison Ivy, Vertigo, and Joker.

"It's over." Batman said firmly.

Vertigo exchanges a look with Ivy before raising his hands in surrender, the other villains following suit.

"There will be another day." The Count simply said.

"Another day?" Joker asks, surprising even his teammates by his lack of surrender and his question.

"Another day?! There won't be another day! Not for any of us!" He laughed maniacally as he raises his gloved hands and uses his fingers to control the vines to rise up around the swamp. Red buds rise up to the surface before they pop in rapid succession, filling the area with green gas.

"Joker-Venom spores. Don't breathe." Batman commands instantly turning to the still laughing Joker and punching the clown right in his face.

The gas continued to spread.

"Fear not." Dr. Fate said and rose over the cloud, creating another one of his symbols, sucking up the gas. "Fate has intervened."

"What were you thinking?!" Kid demands his anger coming through in droves.

"How could you let him put on the Helmet? Nabu will never release him now." his anger fades out by the end of his realization. "Kaldur will be trapped inside Dr. Fate forever."

The Lord Of Order stood still with a stoic look on his face, confirming Kid's worries before suddenly moving and taking the Helmet off and Kaldur returns.

Kid Flash moves quickly in front of the older teen.

"Nabu let you go?" he asks with a smile.

"He almost did not, but your friend Kent was most helpful. He says hello." Aqualad said with a wide smile on his face.

"We're done here." Batman says, drawing the Team's attention to him in an instant. "The SuperVillain Secret Society has been neutralized. As for your performance…"

The team waits through the painful silence. "it was satisfactory."

Hearing that, the team shared happy looks at the praise from the Dark Knight.

But then the half demon glanced back at the InJustice League, a small thought gnawing at the back of her head.

"Was it really over?"

Anyways, I'm just so happy I finally got over my writer's block. So here it is, a new chapter for y'all 

It's not much but it's still okay I guess. 

The next chapter though is one I'm really looking forward to writing. Zatanna is coming, y'all know what that means.
