"You left something at my place last night" Darren said to Isabella outside Jason's office door.

He reached into his pocket a pulled out a black lacy underwear. Isabella grabbed it from him and punched his arm. They heard Amber suddenly coughing from her desk having choked on her coffee when she witnessed what happened between them. They turned to look at her, Isabella with an embarrassed expression while Darren was grinung from ear to ear.

"Could you be anymore embarrassing!". Isabella growled at him.

"I could, but I don't think you could handle it" he replied

"You're annoying!" She grumbled but her smile slowly grew.

"But you like it" Darren replied. His eyes alight with mischief and laughter.

"What are we doing tonight?" Isabella asked in a soft sultry voice.

Suddenly Darren's smile disappeared and he looked a little uncomfortable. He started fidgeting and looking anywhere but at her face. It got worst when she crossed her hands and started tapping her foot while she wait for him to reply.

"I didn't know we were hanging out tonight so I already made plans" he confessed

"You made plans? As in you have a date?" She asked slowly.

"Yes" he replied.

Darren didn't expect to hurt look that crossed her face. She blinked rapidly and then smile at him. It wasn't her usual smile, instead thus smile was tight lipped and forced.

"OK well I guess I'll just have to see what I can find to do for the night" she replied

"What do you mean?" He asked in a carefully controlled voice.

"I mean I've been so caught up with you the past few weeks I haven't put on my little black dress and called anyone from my little black book. I think I'll ask someone out tonight" she replied

"What!?" Darren roared at her. His eyes flashing with anger.

"You inspired me. Thanks Darren!" She said cheerfully then walked away.

Jason's booming laughter coming from inside the office made Darren turn to glare at him. He stormed into the office and slammed the door shut.

"Better you than me man. You two are perfect for each other" said Jason chuckling.

"Try telling her that! Now I'll be stuck at home pissed off for the whole night thinking about her out with some guy touching on her. In a little black dress!" Darren complained

"I thought you just told her you have a date." Said Jason

"Man you know I don't have any date! She's the only woman I want!" Darren replied

"So you were trying to make her feel jealous?" Jason erupted into a fit of laughter again. "How's that plan working out for you" he asked then started laughing even harder.

"Glad you find this so amusing" Darren grumbled

"Hey I needed the laugh." Jason replied sobering up.

"Rachel still freaking out about the asshole ex seeing the baby?" Asked Darren

"Yeah. I can't blame her though. The guy really did a number on her. How am I going to be able to sit there watching this douche bag in our home and not want to punch him in the throat?" Jason said ferociously.

"You want me to sit in on this visit?" Darren asked

"Then it would look like an ambush. I'll just have to deal with it" Jason replied

"You're falling for her you know that right?" Darren asked quietly

"Yeah I know" Jason replied with a sigh.

"Well its about darn time!" Said Darren.

Jason chuckled in response. "She is pretty amazing. And she's a great mother. She get along with my friends, heck she even likes you, that's something"

"Hey hey now I'm a nice guy. People like me" said Darren

"Yeah when you're not being a jerk but even then Rachel thinks you're funny. Stay away from my woman" Jason kidded

"No promises. So when is this visit set to go down?" Asked Darren

"Later today. As soon as I get finished here I have a meeting across town. After that I'm going to go pick her up. She took the baby to go hang out with Samantha and Zoyé, girls day out" Jason replied.

"I never thought I would see the day you would choose to settle down" said Darren

"For her I will. She's my ideal woman. Just the right amount of everything for me. She makes me feel like I matter, she helps me to understand myself more" Jason replied

Darren sighed and looked towards the door.

"Now who's got it bad?" Said Jason

"She got under my skin man, I thought I'd break down her walls, make her vulnerable side come out maybe fall for me" Darren replied

"Instead you're falling for her?" Asked Jason

"No. I've fallen man. Like a ton of bricks" Darren replied

Jason nodded in understanding.

"How's the Smith's company deal coming on?" Asked Jason

"We're closing in on them. I know he's about to cave and sign. One more boys day out maybe this time to the strip club, I'm sure he'll be signing at the end of the night" Darren replied

"You play dirty" said Jason chuckling

"Hey I'm just laying out the breadcrumbs. He's the one following. If that gets us a signed contract at the end of all this then great for us" Darren replied

He watched as Jason pulled back his sleeve and glanced at his watch.

"Gotta go man" said Jason collecting his keys.

Jason almost bumped into Isabella who was coming into his office as he was going out. He looked back at Darren and started laughing as he rose from the chair and started bickering once again.
