I knew what would happen. Olivia would take control. She always has been our pack leader. After Aunt Red left, actually probably closer to when Seth died, Uncle Jake took over as the pack leader. As Jake's oldest, Olivia became the second-gen leader. The only thing is, she isn't a leader. I mean she's a cheerleader and I am not saying that's a bad thing. It's just she is so used to having someone telling her what to do. But not here. This time it's just the six of us. 

"What do we do?" Annie asked looking at Olivia.

"Yeah, Olivia. You knew what to do to prevent them from talking to Ace. What do we do now?" Raven looked at her.

"I...I don't know." Olivia looked defeated.

"We do what our parents would. What they did." Theo said to his sister.

"Which is?" I ask not knowing how to approach the situation either.

"Kill his father?" Olivia Asked.

"No. Not that part." Theo said to her.

"Trust the stranger who wants to help," Raven said quietly.

"What? No. That's what got us here in the first place." Ace exclaimed. "Why don't Theo and I just explain that we are not like you guys? We can go home and get help."

"They would more likely kill us, or not even care," Theo told him.

"And that's only if they believed you," I add.

"No, think about it guys." Raven continued totally ignoring Ace. "My mum. All alone her whole life. She trusted Amber, your mum. Who was alone, who trusted Red. Then they trusted Matt and Apollo and the twins and Willow. They got out."

"One in a million." Ace countered.

"Saundra. She helped take care of them while we were living in that abandoned house and took Willow to the hospital without any questions." Annie told him.

"Then, only knowing him a couple of hours Red trusted Jake with the biggest secret any of them kept," Olivia adds.

"Okay, so maybe more than just one in a million." Ace put up his hands in defeat. "So what do we do?"

"We wait till she gets back in an hour. We trust her to help us get out." Raven explained.

There was an electronic noise outside.

"What is that?" Theo asked getting to his feet.

"Is it from outside?" Ace asked.

Suddenly the room rocked, knocking Theo and Annie off their feet. (1/25/19)
