Dear Gugan,

Ever in the history of marriage, I don't think this would have happened. We have shared our wedding invitation to all our friends and family. Wait... Did you receive it? No right? Has this ever happened for any groom? Don't think so. I am extremely sorry for this as I thought Aunty and Uncle would have showed your our wedding invitation for approval as we do usually. Just did I come to know from Aunty that you were told about our invitations getting printed but later due to the date coming closer, she became busy circulating these invites to your families. I too failed to ask you thinking you might have definitely seen it. Our wedding invitation has been attached to this mail. Can't wait for you to be here. Highly excited to meet you in person for the first time. Though we don't meet even once, you were really accomadative to my wishes. I met you virtually on our engagement but that too could not feel your presence completely. Thank you a lot for catering to my request over these one and a half months of our conversation. I know spending to draft mails and messages itself is a really tiring task considering your studies and other personal works. Despite all, you were patient enough to spare me all your valuable time. Let me keep you relaxed for sometime from all these mails. Being Independence Day, you are from now free from these mails. No longer will you be asked to send mails or messages till you reach India. Haha... Are you happy? I have told you earlier itself but still am telling you again. I love this excitement of waiting and our wedding date is getting closer.

You don't get it right? Wait... will put it plain blank.

I want to delve in your thoughts and memories for the next few weeks till you reach here. Once you are here, all these days of wait will turn into showering more love on you. Please accept it for me.

And I badly wish you worked in Chennai as it still pricks if I have to think of leaving our parents and come to Tokyo.

Also, there is one more wish from my end. Will it be fulfilled? I told you need not send any mails or messages till you reach Chennai but there is a catch in this. Once you leave back to Tokyo post your wedding, I want you to write hand-written letters on your experience during your stay with me. Hope it wouldn't take much of your time and moreover, the flight travel from Chennai to Tokyo should me enough for this effort I presume.

Please do it for me baby. Pleeeaaassseeee...

Love you baby.

Take care! Stay safe!

With love,
Aditi

Dear Aditi,

First of all, thank you for showing our marriage invitation. It looks superb. And one more thing... actually I saw and approved our invitation design as you did. Only thing is didnot get to see it once they were printed. Maybe that's why even my parents would have least bothered. Anyways, I had seen it on the design stage itself so they would have left it. I am all the more excited to meet my girl. Finally... even I got independence from all these mail stuff. I never thought of it as a burden but now... my plan of coming home is also getting closer... so have a lot of works to be completed before I come there. Else wouldn't be able to spend much time for you. I am hastening all my personal and project works here. Hoping it would make me available full time for you when I get back to India.

And... as you love surprizes I kept it to myself for this long but... couldn't take it any longer. Not just one but three surprizes for you.

First is, I want to spill about my visit to India. I will be arriving at Chennai by Aug 25 and returning by Sep 4. We would close to ten days where we can spend our own way.

Second, working in Japan... I think you got it wrong... Not sure who put that thought in your mind. I will be back to Chennai itself once am done with my masters. Even on the work front, I already have a good offer at hand and they are waiting for me to complete my masters so even that is sorted. For now, am doing part time works which is helping here at Japan.

Third is the most exciting...

But wait... will let you know once I board my return flight to Tokyo. You enjoy guessing it till then...

And on the letters... will surely write it during my return trip. If not for you, who am I going to please?

I can't wait to experience our first meeting.

For now... let us pause... we shall continue our conversations once I am back to India.

As discussed, no more messages and mails till Aug 25.

Take care. Stay safe!

Till then... keep grinding your mind on the third surprize.

Love,
Gugan
