Y/n's POV

"Hayley!" I shout walking into her house. "Oh hey Luke and Alex!" I say. "Hey y/n" They reply walking past me to the kitchen. "Finally there you are." I say seeing Hayley walking down the stairs. "Well.." She says then I interrupt. "Beauty takes time... ik." Then we laugh.

I grab a piece of toast and take a bite of Hayleys cereal before she gets to it. "Hey!" She shouts from the other counter where she's making a smoothie. "Sorryyy!" I shout back. We all laugh.

"Who's driving us to school today?" Luke asks. "I am." Hayley says. "Oh god." Luke says rolling his eyes. "Oh god" Hayley says mocking Luke.

"Oh- hey Phil, hey Claire!" I say happily. "Why's y/n so happy today." Phil whispers in Hayleys ear making it loud enough so I hear. I rolled my eyes. "There she is." Alex says. "So are we leaving or what." I say taking a bite out of my toast. "Yes not we are." Hayley says. "Bye Mom and Dad Love you." I say to Phil and Claire. "Bye sweetie."

I call them Mom and Dad and say I love you because they are kind of my parents because my parents don't really pay any attention anymore. My mom is always outta town and my dad is always drinking so I end up walking right over the the Dunphy's pretty much every day.

"What song?" Hayley asks. "You pick." I said. "Okay." She turns on our favorite song. I think Luke and Alex hate it because they don't seem very amused. "Guys put a happy face on, act like you like us a little bit." I say to them. "Fine." They say. They smile then I see Hayley gain a little smile.

"Okay we're here." Hayley says while parking at the school. "Finally." Luke says. "Finally." Hayley says mocking Luke again. I hop out of the car and see Lily, Corbin, Blair, and Shawn talking so me and Hayley run up to them. "Hey y'all." I say. "Hey you two." Corbin says. "We have an ideaaa." Lily says. Oh no this can't be good but when they aren't there fun. "Let's skip school." Blair says. "Omg yes." Hayley says excitingly. "Who's car?" Shawn asks. "Mine I guess." Hayley said. "Alright let's go then!"

We hop into the car and me, blair and lily are in the very back. Corbin and Hayley are in like the middle back. Shawn is driving and we're going to put stuff in the passenger seat. "Where to first?" Shawn asks. "The gas station duh." I say shouting just enough so he can hear. "Alright." He says taking a sharp right. It's like 2 miles up the rode.

We finally arrive at the gas station I wonder why we let the slowest driver drive. We walk in and i go straight for the monsters and cigarettes. Same for Hayley. Then I go and get some candy and snacks.

Everyone gets everything they want and throw it up on the cashier thing and it was A LOT of stuff all together. Good thing our best friends rich but i usually try and pay him back but he'll never take it and it gets so annoying. Some of us go out to the car and some stay in so they can carry stuff out. I jump into my seat and grab my cigarettes because i grabbed those before i walked out of the store.

"Doe anyone that's in here right now have a lighter?" I ask. "I do!" Hayley says passing it back. "Thank you bestie!" I light my cigarette then give Hayley back her lighter. I go up to the seat next to Hayley since it has a window that rolls down.

Finally Blair, Shawn and Corbin are coming. "Sorry guys it took FOREVER." Shawn says. "Why?" I ask. "Ask Corbin." Blair says. "I couldn't find the ID." He says putting his hands up. "Well your out here now." Lily says. "Yep." Blair says.

"Where to next?" Shawn asks. " I need to run into the dollar store really quick so can we go there?" Blair asks. "Sure." He replies. The dollar store is literally like two seconds up the rode.

We arrive and Me, Hayley and Blair hop out of the car. "Y'all- I have an idea." I say. "Let's got to the lake and lay down like two blankets and have a picnic." "That's a good idea." Hayley says. "Okay i'll get the blankets and baskets, Y/n you get some food and Blair get some like decorations and stuff you need." Hayley says. "Okay." Blair replied.

We got everything we needed and took it up to the cash register and got everything paid for then walked out. We went to the car and told Shawn to go to the lake. The good one is like an hour away so that's going to be awhile. Everyone but me, Hayley and Shawn obvi fell asleep. "I can't wait." Hayley says looking out the window observing the view. "Me too." I say smiling. I then lay my head on the window then peacefully fall asleep.
