Grandparents House

~Henrys POV~

I walked with Susie to Sam's grandparents house. It's been a while since I've seen them. They were nice people, from what I remember. They had a nice little cottage with roses and different types of flowers in the garden along with a pond with a couple tadpoles. Every time me and Sam went there , they'd offer us to help feed the tadpoles and give us milk and cookies as a gift. We arrived and the house was still as beautiful as it was when we were kids. I walked up the gravel path and knocked on the wooden door. A little women opened the door. We greeted each other, happily, and was talking and catching up. Sadly, the grandfather had been in a crash but he's still recovering at the hospital. We then had a talk about Sammy. She said he had passed away a couple years ago in an accident at work. I sat there in shock. He died? Tears were in my eyes. So, the person we met... wasn't him??
I felt like punching something. He was my best friend. After we got information we left and Susie went her way home and I went my way. I cried myself to sleep. How could I let this happen?? Why had nobody told me? I remember Susie's guilty face. She had messaged me to apologise for not telling me. I just stared at it. Everyone at work promised each other that we would tell people if something happened and stuff. But they hid it from me... because they knew we were close friends. I can't blame them. We'd do the same for someone else. Wait if everyone in work was dead? And now living in an inky corpse? I  remember when we were in the building that Sammy kept complaining about his inky abyss known as his body. I wiped my eyes. Sammy wouldn't want me crying over him would he?

-sorry for being gone a long time. Enjoy this story! Also, this is my take on the story. If I somewhat relate to the games or other stories then that is coincidental. I may take things out of the games and make them different a bit but still. Thanks for reading!
