four. energetic

Author's point of view.

"Are you sure shortcake? We're not confident leaving you alone again.", Jonghyun felt her forehead as she had a fever.

Dongho changed her cold pack on her forehead and checked her temperature. Jonghyun and him have been taking care of Ari since yesterday changing shifts with Donghyun and Youngmin. They've been guarding her 24/7 ever since the incident that Samuel found her in.

It's been two days Ari caught a fever so to ensure her safety, at least one of them must be there to guard her along giving her care.

The princes have been searching for their precious mate that they've sent royal spies to look for Ari.

The slayers took Ari away from Seoul District to the country side of the Kingdom. Busan District. Her fathers and mothers went out of the state due to work issues so they had full responsibility towards the girl.

"Of course. You need some rest too. I feel like a burden to you guys.", she put on her best smile even though she was sick.

Making both of the boy's hearts melt in a snap. They never felt Ari as a burden. She was their sister. Their youngest sister for them to protect and cherish.

Jonghyun and Dongho decided to rest for a while and give the girl some privacy. With two kisses on the forehead and they left her room.

The girl was now alone for once after two days.

She stood up from her cozy bed and walked around her room. Being taken care by a bunch of slayers, they didn't even let her stand up to take her phone! She needs exercise too. She might get used to it and become lazy and she didn't want that to happen.

Whilst walking around the room, she found a piano at the right corner of her room. She squealed in delight and practically ran to the instrument.

She is Min Yoongi's daughter, she shared the same passion for the piano just like her dad.

She sat on the seat and literally admiring the keys of the piano. Her fingers gently pressed the keys to produce some sounds.

And she started to play.

Woojin punched the wall in anger. The wall cracked and created a hole in the wall.

His vampire gift is strength. They all have enhanced strength than a normal being but a vampire's strength was 5 times than a human and Woojin's was double the amount of strength.

"punching the wall won't get her back Woojin"

"Well do you have a better idea than just to stay in this fucking palace like a fucking idiot?!", he snapped at his older twin.

Jihoon only could shake his head and continue to watch his twin punching walls like the wall has done something sinful to them.

Jihoon and Woojin were unidentical twins. The two shared amounts of likes and had the same dislikes. Only Jihoon was the cold cool type and Woojin was the type to explode if his property was taken away from him.

Woojin kept punching the wall until one point Jihoon stopped his fist by frosting his fist. He gave the look to Woojin and Woojin instantly felt ashamed of his immature actions. Jihoon gave his twin a hug and patted his back while comforting him.

"we'll find her. She can't hide from us forever."

Daniel and Seongwoo were wandering around the Busan District. They were informed by the royal spies that some of the slayers which were Ari's friends were spotted here. Where there's the performance unit then there's Jeon Ari.

So why not they find out themselves?

Why Daniel and Seongwoo?

Daniel's gift was teleportation. Yes, some vampires are gifted with teleportation but his was more special. He could teleport to very far places and he could bring multiple people with him.

Seongwoo's gift was time. He could stop time, reverse time, see the future and past. But it required more energy so he often passed out if he overused his gift.

Good combination right?

"Seongwoo- ah, i have a strong feeling that she's here.", Daniel followed his natural instinct.

"Me too.", Seongwoo nodded.

Instead of looking for Ari's scent, they looked for one of the slayer's scent. Because as stated, where there's the slayer then there is Ari.

Even though how gross is to follow the slayers scent.

"Urgh, the things I do for you Jeon Ari.", Seongwoo muttered.

Daniel hit his arm playfully and nodded at his statement. Oh the things they do for their beloved mate. Includes them sacrificing their time for her.

They stopped in front of a mansion in the middle of the forest. Why was a mansion doing here? That was answered when they heard Samuel's voice conversing with someone. They went closer to the mansion as they were hidden in the bushes.

Samuel was talking on the phone. His tone wasn't pleasant either. He was talking to Prince Sungwoon.

"Bring our princess back"

"why should we?"

"You don't even know where we are"

"She's ours! Our mate!"

"stop making me laugh."

"We'll find you. All eight of you. We'll take back what is ours"

"I'll be waiting. Go on."

"You won't find us anyway."

Samuel instantly hung up and checked his surrounding before entering the mansion.

Daniel and Seongwoo smirked as they heard the whole conversation. They were right all along.

Jeon Ari was in the mansion.

"Jeon Ari! You have to rest!", Seonho scolded as the female only ignore him and continue to do as she please.

"I'm fine Seonho-ie oppa", she cringed at the word 'oppa'.

She took all the books from the living room and bring them all to the library that the mansion has which she discovered an hour ago.

Seonho sighed at the stubborn girl and decided to let her be. He told the girl to be careful and not to over work as she was energetic even though being sick.

"okay!", she gave the okay sign with her fingers before disappearing upstairs to the library.

The library was more like a study. Vintage and classy. One wall was a full shelf. Full of novels and non-frictional books. By the window was a sofa and the view was the backyard garden. In the middle of the room there was a study desk and an office chair, completed with a Apple computer, notebooks and stationary.

She sorts the books by order of genre. While she was at it, she found an interesting book.

Diamond was the title.

It was a about a commoner be friends with a group of princes.

'might as well read this', she thought.

"Nice book you got there darling.",

That sudden comment made her turn around and find both Daniel and Seongwoo trapping her between them and the shelf.

"oh love, this is where you hid for one fucking week?", Seongwoo asked as he was on her left, with his hand beside her head.

She took the courage and look at both of the two princes in front of her. Even if Daniel was smiling, she could tell he was mad. Just like Seongwoo.

"How the hell did you find me? I'm miles away from Seoul."

"We have our ways. And now let's go home shall we?", Daniel cooed while holding her right hand already.

"she can't"

"Oh what now!?", Daniel whined as he turned around, finding Seonho and Minki at the door.

"why not?!", Seongwoo whined too, turning around to face the two slayers.

"How dumb. can't you see the cold pack on her forehead. It's obvious she's sick.", Minki rolled his eyes.

Both OngNiel looked at the girl and finally realized the cold pack on her forehead. That's explains why she was warmer than usual.

"oh", the two princes blankly said.

"Then, we're staying for the night!"
