Jin waited impatiently at the door. He knocked again and was about to turn around when the door opened.

"Why are you here? Go home I'm trying to sleep." They rubbed the sleep out of their eyes and groaned.

"I need to talk to you about something." Jin said and was finally allowed into the apartment. "Jin, why are you here right now? Don't you have better things to be doing?" The person complained.

Jin groaned. "Yeah, I'm trying to get Y/N and Jungkook together." He rolled his eyes at the figure now sprawled out across the bed.

"Okay, I'll help," they finally sat up and met Jin's gaze, "Why are you doing this, though?"

"When Y/N and Jungkook stopped talking while he was dating Soojung, Y/N finally realized she had feelings for him."

"HOW COULD SHE NOT TELL ME? I'M HER BEST FRIEND!" They shot up and scared Jin with the sudden energy. "AFTER I BOUGHT HER LUNCH A WERK AGO THE DISRESPECT"

"Mina, can't you stay calm for 20 damn minutes?" Now it was her turn to roll her eyes.

"Obviously not when you say shit like that. Why wouldn't she tell me about this?" She pouted.

"Maybe because she's got more common sense than me and knew you'd react like this." The male shook his head and let out a light chuckle.

She leaned back and looked at the wall. "I still can't believe she likes him, though."

"Why not?" He questioned and looked at her in his side view. "It's just surprising. I know we've all said that we want them to be together, I just never though t could actually happen."

Jin gently placed his hand over the girl's while giving her a look of sympathy and pity. "Jin," she groaned, "Please don't look at my like that."

"I just feel bad." He said quietly and she looked down. "You shouldn't. It's stupid anyways."

"It's not like you can help it." He tried to comfort her, though he knew it wasn't working. "Mina-"

"Jin I don't want your pity." She sighed and he bit the inside of his cheek.

~Flashback~

"Just shut up Mina."

Jin was waking down the hallway. The school was mostly empty, all the classes cleared out and the rest of the student had already pushed passed each other to get out of the school.

He heard a familiar name, spoke by a dark and angry voice. He turned the corner and was met with a view he's seen before.

Yes, along with the rest of the group, Mina was just as well known around the school as the rest of them. This didn't keep her from being bullied though, Jin was aware of this. Especially from other girls, he knew many girls were jealous of Y/N and Mina. He'd seen many of them try to start fights with Y/N right in front of him. He wasn't around Mina enough to know if this had happened to her, though.

Jin's p.o.v.

She was standing next to the lockers, a taller, older girl standing in her path. She pointed her finger at Mina and glared at her. I noticed the girl, she was in my third period. "Just admit you like Jungkook." Of course, she was one of Jungkook's one night stands. I wasn't even surprised. I'd shocked if Jungkook hadn't slept with over half of the girls in this school.

"Fine," My eyes snapped towards Mina, still unaware of my presence. "I like him." My eyes widened in shock and the older girl looked up at me and smiled.

"Jin oppa." She dragged the word, trying to sound as innocent as possible. She walked towards me and grabbed my arm and pecked me on the cheek. "Jihyo." I faked a smile at her before shaking my arm out of her grasp. "Mina, I'll drive you home." I started walking towards the front of the school.

"It's ok, I can walk. I don't want to cause you any trouble." I turned around and looked at her, Jihyo still standing where I left her. "Then let's spend some time together. It's been a while." I gave her a genuine smile. I had been wanting to talk to Mina for a while. Her lips puckered as she looked down and contemplated. "Let's go." She started walking towards me and I waved at Jihyo before walking away with Mina.

"I heard that wrong, didn't I?" I asked and she looked down while fidgeting with the bottom of her skirt.

"No." She said so quietly I almost couldn't hear her.

"You're serious? You like Jungkook?" She looked up at me with sad eyes. "Since when?"

"One day we were just hanging hanging out together, just the two of us. I guess it kind of just happened." She sighed and put her head down in her hands. "I don't want to. He's in love with someone else anyways."

~end of flashback~

I remembered that day. I remembered seeing the sadness in her eyes and she explained how she felt for Jungkook. And how, that same day, he'd also talked about how amazing he thought her best friend was.

She told me not to feel bad for her, but I did. Yes, she had feelings for Jungkook, but she knew how he felt and cared more about him being happy. I pulled her into a hug.

"Jungkook's lucky to have a friend like you." I said and I felt her arms slowly wrap around.

"What do you mean?" She asked when she pulled away from the hug.

"You still want him to be happy, even if it hurts you." She shrugged. "I know I'll be happier if he's happy too." I silently nodded and thought about what she said.
