Your POV

I remember seeing her for the first time on stage two years ago. Her skills as a drummer has left a good impression on me. When I saw her smile, it was making me smile, too.

I always wanted to meet her in person, and to let her know that I am a big fan of hers. But I don't think I could ever had the courage to talk to her. For a while, I never saw her after her band's debut show, but all of that began to change soon enough.

The weekend...

Location - The Park

I began to take a walk on a decent weekend. It was cloudy and cold, but that's okay. It wasn't going to rain today, and that makes this stroll a bit better. 

While walking, I spotted someone familiar in the distance. It was a girl with wavy blue hair and violet eyes. She has a side ponytail and her outfit is feminine. As I kept staring at her, I realized who it was.

I decided to build up courage, and once I got closer to her, I called out.

"Excuse me, Matsubara Kanon?"

She looked up at me, and gave me that sweet smile of hers.

"Hello? How can I help you?" She asked.

"Well, my name is (Y/N) (L/N), and I am a big fan of Hello, Happy World! and yours." I said as I spoke to the drummer in a very soft voice.

Kanon took a moment to let my words sink in, and eventually, she gave me a smile.

"A fan, huh? Nice to meet you." She said sweetly. "Can I know your name?"

"Y-Yeah. My name is (Y/N) (L/N)."

"(Y/N)-kun, huh? That's a sweet name."

She thinks my name is sweet? She really is kind.

"So, (Y/N)-kun, you said you were a fan of mines, right? How long have you been watching me?" She asked.

"Well, I've been a fan since your band's debut show from two years ago."

"Ah, that was when I was a second year student at Hanasakigawa." Kanon said as she let out a sigh.

"Yeah, you and the others were incredible. Thanks to you guys, I am able to smile and see the more positive side of life." I said.

Kanon giggled.

"I'm glad my friends and I were able to make you smile." She said.

"Yeah. Keep up the good work, and I'll be sure to support you every step of the way."

Kanon smiled once again.

"Thanks. I'll do my best to make my fans smile, especially you."

That really made me happy. Kanon and I chatted for another 20 minutes or so, and eventually, she saw her friend, who she was waiting for the whole time.

"I should go. It was nice to meet you, (Y/N)-kun." She said.

"Yeah, nice to meet you too."

Kanon got up to walk over towards her friend, leaving me by myself. I was hoping she and I could talk more, but it was fine. She knows I exist now, and that is good enough for me. As Kaoru would put it, she is very fleeting indeed.
