"You're never going to find love. No girl will want to date someone as weird as you."

People have been telling me that for a few years now. It started when I was in junior high when I told my friends how I thought it would be nice that I could find a girl I can spend the rest of my life with, but all they did was laugh at me, and treat it like it was some kind of joke. But in the end, I was able to prove them wrong, and met the one I care about the most.

Hello, my name is (Y/N) (L/N), and this is my story.

Location - Ramen Ginga

This story starts off with going to Ramen Ginga after school. I go there all the time when I am not too busy. In fact, you could say that I am a regular costumer there. I am always greeted by the manager, and a certain girl at my age: Satou Masuki.

"Hello!" I called out to them as I walked inside.

"Hey, (Y/N), I didn't think you were going to show up." Masuki said.

"There's no way I would miss out on your ramen, Masuki. It's too good." I said as I took a seat.

"That's sweet of you to say." She said and handed me my usual bowl of ramen.

"Oh, you already made me my order?" I asked.

"Yeah. I figured you would want it, so I made it in advance, and kept it on the side for you." Masuki said as she started blushing a little and winked at me.

Hearing that made me smile.

"Thanks Masuki, that's really nice of you." I said and started eating it.

"Well? How is it? Is it up to your standards?" She asked.

"Oh yeah, this is really good." I said and smiled at her.

"I'm glad that you think so."

After some time, I finished eating the bowl of ramen. I had a big smile on my face when I did. Even though I had it before, it was still the best bowl of ramen I had in a while.

"That was delicious..." I said with a satisfying look on my face.

"That's good to know!" Masuki said.

As I got up and get ready to leave, Masuki stopped me by grabbing my hand.

"Wait, don't go yet!" She said.

"Huh? Why not?" I asked, but Masuki did something else whether than answering my question.

She closed her eyes and gave me a kiss on the lips, and all I can do was stood there in shock as a girl kissed me for the first time. Truth be told, it was so out of the blue that I didn't know what to think. It was unexpected, yet... it was the best kiss I have ever received.

After a while, she broke the kiss and looked at me with rosey cheeks.

"M-Masuki... did you..."

"Kiss you? Yes, I did."

"But... why? I don't understand."

"It's because... I'm in love with you!" She blurted out.

In love with me? I know I've been saying that I always wanted to be with someone I can spend the rest of my life with. But now that this has actually happened, I don't even know how to feel.

"Oh, I see..." I said and narrow my eyes away from her.

Masuki made a sad face.

"Do you... not feel the same about me?" She asked.

"I don't know... I think I need some time to think on it." I told her.

Masuki didn't say anything else after that. She understood what I was trying to do. And so, she let go of my hand and let me leave. As I left to head for home, I began to think about what I should do next...

A few days later...

Location - Satou Residence, Masuki's Room

It took me a few minutes to think about what I should do. I honestly couldn't figure it out on my own, though. So what did I decide to do? I decided to get some advice from wise people that I know very well, aka my grandfather.

After speaking to him about Masuki and the kiss she gave me, he asked if I had any feelings for her. I didn't have an answer for him right away, but after thinking about it, Masuki and I have been close with each other, despite not being to hangout all the time. She also lets me vent to her whenever something goes wrong for me. And to top it all off, I enjoy her company and she enjoys mine. 

Maybe I was in love with her. No, I AM in love with her. No other girl treats me as good as Masuki did. When I realize this, I decided to make my way to her house as fast as I could. I got inside and made my way to her bedroom where I would knock on the door, and wait for her.

She opened the door, and she was surprised to see me.

"Huh? (Y/N)? What are you doing here?" She asked.

"I'm here to do this."

I placed my hands on her cheeks and gave her a long and passionate kiss. After a while, I broke the kiss and we just stared at each other. I notice Masuki was blushing like crazy, and I was doing the same thing.

"W-What was that about?" She asked, stuttering a little bit.

"That was to let you know that I love you, Masuki." I told her.

"Wait, you still love me? Even after what happened?" She asked.

"Yes, I do." I said before letting my real feelings show.

"I didn't see it at first, but when I looked back on it, I realize that you mean a lot to me, Masuki. You've been there for me and I don't think I can live without you." I confessed.

"(Y/N)..." Masuki said as she stared at me.

"I know this might be a lot to take in right now, but I really do want you to know how I feel about you." I said.

Masuki smiled at me and hugged me tightly.

"Oh (Y/N)! I feel the same way!"

I smiled and hugged her back, then she took me inside her room where the two of us sat down on her bed.

"Masuki, I want to ask you out, but I can't help but think I need to prove myself somehow." I said as my cheeks turned red again, but it was fainted.

"Hehehe, you don't have to prove anything. Just ask me out, and I can give you a yes or no response." She replied.

"Oh, well, will you go out with me?" I asked.

"Yes. I would love to go out with you." She said and kissed me on the cheek.
