14 YEAR OLD GISELLE GLANCES around the empty hall way. It was lunch time and everyone was either in the cafeteria or outside playing. She holds onto a small typed up and decorated note as she searches for a specific locker number.

Locker 130. Pablo's locker.

She looks at the note once again. It was a confession letter. She had formed a crush on Pablo after their art class together and she felt like she had to tell him. So, she wrote down all of her feelings in the note except she never mentions her name or gives any sort of hint that it was her.

Giselle thought it would be the end of the world if he knew she liked him. She quickly slips the note into his locker before running off to meet up with her friends.

20 minutes later, the bell rang and she was filled with anxiety. She walked with her best friend, Martina, to her locker. She was passing by Pablo and his friends and notices that he was reading the note.

Giselle mentally curses when she remembers that Martina's locker was next to his. She hears loud laughter coming from his friends and she curiously glances up, meeting his gaze.

"Was this you, Lee?" His friend, Luis, asks her with a sneer. Pablo looked entertained as he watches her facial expression turn to an annoyed one.

Giselle quickly scoffs, flipping her long black hair. "No, never." She replies.

"That would be embarrassing, truly. Thank God it isn't you." Pablo replies, chuckling as he puts the note back into his locker and shuts it. "That's be gross."

Giselle makes a disgusted face in reply, ignoring how hurt she felt. "Honestly, I could never like you. That''s just- That's just crazy."

Martina finally finished grabbing her books and quickly drags her away. "You guys need to just kiss and stop bickering!" She calls out, glancing at Pablo and his friends.

Pablo and Giselle make disgusted faces once again at each other before they parted their ways.

She felt hurt the rest of the day. She felt stupid for believing that he could ever like her in the slightest. The way he replied made her want to go home and just cry. She knew she couldn't be around him any longer.

A month later, she finds herself flying out to Seoul, South Korea, to audition for one of the top entertainment companies to pursue her dreams.

"GISELLE, HELLO?" Yizhou calls out as she waves her hand in front of Giselle's face. She immediately snapped out of her thoughts and looks up.

"What's up? You seemed to be thinking about something serious." The Chinese questions her.

Giselle shrugs in reply as her makeup artist puts her finishing touches on her stage makeup. "Stuff, I guess."

Yizhou didn't believe her and raises her eyebrow. Jimin and Minjeong walked into the dressing room with smoothies for them. The leader, Jimin, notices Giselle's spaced out look.

"What's up with her?"

"Definitely thinking about Gavi." Minjeong teases as she takes her smoothie from its cup holder and sits down on a couch in the room.

Giselle scoffs in reply as Jimin hands her her strawberry smoothie. "I was not!" She exclaims in defense. The other 3 bursted into laughter at her suddenly acting so defensively.

"She was." Yizhou whispers to the others.

"I wasn't! I was just thinking about how my life was in Spain. Before moving to Korea to train. Especially in middle school." Giselle quietly says as she zips up her white boots.

Jimin raises her eyebrow in concern at her sudden silence. "What was it like? Spain?"

"Fun. Amazing." She replies, a smile appearing on her lips as she remembers her childhood. "Middle school was the downfall though. I knew I wanted to become an idol so I flew all the way to Korea."

"And Gavi?" Minjeong teases, earning a slight slap from the leader.

Giselle scoffs again and rolls her eyes. Before she could even reply, they were suddenly called to the stage.
