Mrs. Grey?

My subconscious spoke once the caller ID sunk in me. I looked over to Brianna who's currently watching in confusion. She mumbled something like 'who's that?' Before I took the short chance to walk over her and pressed my lips on her forehead ever so gently. A warm smile tug at her lips and hugged around my torso. "Your mum, I'll just talk to her a'right?" I said and her eyes widened before nodding.

My thumb pressed on the screen and picked up. "Hello, Mrs. Grey." I greeted as nice as I could, annoyance taking over me.

"Hello, Mr. Styles. I was just wondering where my daughter is, she's not answering or texting us back. Have you seen her?" She asked, worry evident in her tone. I tugged at the roots of my hair and groaned in a low sound, Brianna's hands rubbing up and down my chest. "Um, yes, ma'am. She's here, and I'm sorry for not telling you that she wouldn't be able to go home. I got her excused from school for a day so she could help me take care of my kids." I explained in the best way I could, looking at the beautiful girl staring up at me.

"Oh! Thank God she's safe. It's alright, was just worried. Is she behaving well?" She chuckled as I continued to hold Brianna's gaze. My fingers raked across her scalp which made her purr and lean on my chest, a smirk invading my lips.

"She's a good girl, Mrs. Grey. You have nothing to worry about. Do you want to talk to her?"

"Oh no no no no no! It's fine Mr. Styles. I'll get going then." Says Brianna's mum.

"Thank you for understanding, ma'am. Bye." I said gently.

"Bye!" She chimed cheerfully before hanging up. I sighed and set my phone aside, going back to Brianna and taking a quick glance at the twins. Luckily, they didn't see any display of affection Brianna and I shared. "What did mum say?" Brianna quizzed, making sure her voice is low so the kids won't get distracted.

"She just asked about you, hun. Don't worry." I winked and blush crept on her cheeks. She let out a sigh in relief and smiled at me. "I think we should get food for all of us, don't you think sweetheart?" I offered, my hand slowly traveling down to her a.ss, giving it a light squeeze in which she yelped and jumped towards me. "That'd be great, I think. I'm still starving. Guess the meal I prepared wasn't enough." She giggled lowly while rubbing her tummy playfully. I could imagine her having a baby inside.

Oh my God, what am I even thinking.

"Babe," she called for me again as I tapped on my phone, "Maybe let me pay for it this time?"

"No, kitten." I chuckled and she rolled her eyes in defeat. Groaning, I snaked an arm around her waist then pulled her closer to me. "C'mon, love. I haven't paid you yet so you better save it alright? It's just McDonald's so..." I trailed off just as I pressed my lips on her forehead gently. Her lips tugged into a smile against my bare chest, small arms clinging around my torso. "Since it's my favorite, alright Mr. Styles." She smirked and played with my curls.

Just as I was about to kiss her, I heard a few heavy footsteps towards our direction. "Daddy! I'm still hungry. I want snacks." Hailey whines, hugging on my leg tightly. Low chuckles escaped my lips and placed my hand on her head to ruffle her messy hair. And then, Harper came into sight and raised his arms while looking up at Brianna, a clue for her to carry him. "Me too, Daddy. I'm sure mummy is as well." He giggles as Brianna lifted him up before facing me a bit. Seeing the three of the people I cared about brightens my day and lightens up my mood. To be really honest, I know longer know if Sandrine's still important to me. Just had to go with the flow. I gave all of them kisses on the temple before stepping back. "Okay children, what do you want for snacks? Gonna call McDonald's." I asked with a grin, followed by laughs from the three.

"I want Nuggets and french fries daddy." Says Hailey, pulling my hand while bouncing up and down.

"Nuggets and hot fudge daaad!" Harper wails.

"Is it okay if I take upsize McFlurry and large fries?" Brianna says, sounding a bit unsure or shy which made me chuckle. The fact that she's still not used around me and the kids made me feel giddy inside.

"Of course, my love." I playfully winked and fortunately the kids didn't see nor hear.

She nodded in response and I told them to wait in the living area before dialing for delivery service.

"Daddy please add toys! You know, happy meals." Hailey pleaded with her palms together. I gave her a thumb up as I talked to the other line.

After thirty minutes, the food arrived and Brianna insisted to prepare the food on the center table, as usual. I chuckled at how excited the kids are since I told the operator to add all the toys available, much more excited to check the toys out rather than eating their wanted food. Brianna dealt with the kids about turning the videogame down and of course she won, having her mum material on the twins which I loved so much. At least, she made my children feel what they wanted to feel; loved. The thing they never felt with their biological mother. I know that I shouldn't have been thinking like this, but it's true. I know I'm almost twice her age but I don't really care and I'm going to let my feelings towards her develop.
I sat down on my massive leather couch, cradling my BigMac in my hands. Brianna and the kids followed, sitting beside me and leaning on my side, not minding if the kids notice. They love her more than Sandrine anyway. "We should watch something, don't you think babe?" Brianna whispered while biting on her fries. I nodded before taking a bite on my food. "Yeah, I guess we should." I replied, chewing in process. "How about Disney?" She smiled so brightly that she almost lit the room. I sighed and wrapped an arm around her shoulder. "Babe, they've been watching Disney movies for millions of times." I whined quietly. She just rolled her eyes and mumbled 'whatever'. I like her stubbornness but there's no way on Earth I'm going to piss her off. To be honest, her being angry affects me a lot so...

"Sweetheart c'mon, don't be like that," I said, shaking her. "Go on if you want to watch with the kids. I'm sorry."

"Nope, it's fine, no longer in the mood." She replied in a good tone but never bothered to look at me as she ate her ice cream. "Don't tell me we're going to fight over f.ucking Disney movies Brianna," Growling through gritted teeth, I pushed my hair back. She let out a groan and looked up at me. "I don't want that to happen, but can we just cuddle with the kids, please?" She pouted as if I scared her although I didn't mean to. I kind of like the fact that I'm having that kind of effect on her. A smile tugged at my lips and nodded, standing up once I finished my BigMac. "Alright. Kids, let's go cuddle upstairs and watch some movies." I announced. As usual, the twins got off the couch excitedly, racing towards my room. I don't consider it as Sandrine and I's room to be honest. Lol never.

"I thought you don't want to watch movies?" Brianna asked as we climbed up the stairs. I claimed her hand in mine and pressed a soft kiss to her cheek whilst giggling. "Horror ones, want the kids to overcome their fears." I replied and she nodded in satisfaction.

We got in the room with Harper and Hailey already on the bed with grins on their faces, making me chuckle as Brianna did the same. If only the kids knew what happened on that bed earlier. "I will just wear pants then we'll proceed." Smiling at them, I turned away and went to my closet and wore Nike joggers before getting some CD's. I got Insidious and 28 Weeks Later, which is a bit old but scary enough. As I got back to the bedroom, I picked Insidious first and crawled to bed, settling beside Brianna. Each of us had either Hailey or Harper, still saving the food for the rest of the movie.

"Love, share a spoonful, will you?" I asked Brianna and she gladly obliged, shoving one in my mouth.

"Taste good?" She quizzed and I nodded in response before pecking her cold lips.

As we watched Insidious, the part where Josh turned around and faced a weird face gave the three a jumpscare. "Harry oh my God!" Brianna half cried in shock, hugging on the upper half of my body tight. A chuckle escaped my lips and hugged her back, trying to comfort her, placing a soft kiss on the top of her head. "I hate this movie," she giggled and drew out a deep breath "Going to lose my sanity."

"They're not real babe, you'll be fine," I chuckled again while looking at the TV screen. It's kind of funny that the twins are much ballsy than her when it comes to this, which I find really cute. "I know but- ah!" She shrieked loudly once Josh tripped on the stairs and was surrounded with mannequin-like people, smiling weirdly. The twins and I laughed at how Brianna reacted, earning a scowl from her. "Just kidding mummy." Says Hailey before hugging on Brianna. Such a good view to watch. Harper then gave her another hug after and sat on my lap. I smiled like an idiot, not even minding the movie.

I wish I could turn back time and change the choices I made before.
