3rd Person PoV

Y/N looked at Akashi incredulously.

"I'm sorry. I just-" He blinked. "I was caught off-guard by your-err, appearance."

Akashi tilted her head. "Eh? What are you saying, Commander? I'm normal. And you'll see more weirder people than me around here-nya."

"More weirder?" He asks, and Enteprise interrupted quick.

"Let's just say... people around here are quirky than the others because of their personalities."

That sends a small shiver in him.

"Alright, I do understand." Y/N smiled. "Shall we begin the tour then? Akashi, come with us."

Akashi hastily salutes in response. "Y-Yes, Commander-nya!"

"If you please, commander." Enterprise gestured as she moved in front of them. "Follow me."

The Commander and the two shipgirls entered the Repair and Refitting Facility as they walked through the metallic hallway.

"Right, then." Y/N looks around as they reached the dockyards. "I will be blunt, Akashi. Did we lose any... ships?" He asked.

Akashi tilts her head. "We didn't lose any, Commander-nya! As we speak, the Manjuus are inspecting the wounded ships one by one and currently working on it. I will give you the report after the tour-nya."

"Akashi's right, Commander." Enterprise seconded. "Azur Lane is strong. We've endured more even if we didn't had a Commander before."

That caught his attention.

"Wait, you haven't installed a Commander before?"

Akashi and Enterprise shared a worried look before the Grey Ghost answers, "We have one before, but..."

"But?"

"He was reported missing in action after a scouting mission gone wrong." Enterprise grimly stated.

Y/N slowly nodded, taking in that message. "I see."

"We're here, Com-nya-nder!" Akashi gestured.

They have arrived at the middle of the facility where several turrets are displaced around the area. AA guns, torpedoes, and steel plates are stacked at the inventory area, while barrels of oil are neatly hidden at a nearby cache.

"Woah..." He said in awe. "I didn't expect this area to be this clean." He remarked.

That irked Akashi. "Are you saying that my place is dirty-nya?"

Y/N replies at her with a deadpan. "I didn't said any."

"You're subtly pointing at it." Akashi frowned.

The tour went on for another thirty minutes as Akashi explained the situation of the R&R Facility. Their supplies, how to re-fit weapons on the ships, and to create new ones.

"What about those... Wisdom Cubes?" Y/N now asks the important part. "Can we do anything about it?"

Akashi shakes her head. "Unfortunately that wasn't my specialty. If you're really pushing for that, try Vestal-nya!"

"Vestal..." Y/N mutters as he glances at Enterprise. "She's next to be visited, right?"

"Her facility is just nearby, Commander. Maryland should be here at any minute now." She points out.

"Alright." He nods back and then thanked Akashi profusely. "You can give me the reports after my tour, Akashi. Thanks a lot."

"Glad to help-nya!"

Akashi waves goodbye as Enterprise and Y/N went back to the main entrance. As expected, Maryland is seen waiting at the sidewalk with the jeep revving next to her.

"Hiya, Commander!" Maryland greeted.

"Hello, Maryland." He smiles and nods in acknowledgement. "Can you give us a ride to Vestal's place?"

"The Medical Department?" Maryland wondered. "Sure thing!"

She then enters the jeep and invited the two. Y/N rode shotgun while Enterprise enters at the back. As the jeep moves forward, Y/N notices that the plumes of black smoke are already gone from the shores.

"That's fast..." Y/N softly commented.

"Something wrong, Commander?" Enterprise asks.

"I'm surprised that you girls took the cleanup seriously."

"You meant the smokes from afar." Enterprise points out yet again. "I think that's because of the destroyers who are helping their fellow shipgirls towards the docks, and onto Vestal's Medical Department."

"Speaking of Vestal..." Y/N gestured. "Is she the only Repair Ship around Azur Lane?"

Enterprise nodded.

"Then how in the world she handles the base with a lot of wounded?"

"She's an expert in terms of those kind of scenarios, Commander. You don't have to worry." Enterprise stated.

"Very well."

"We're here, Commander!" Maryland announced as the jeep swerves to the right and parked near the hospital grounds.

As the two exited the vehicle, they spotted several Royal Navy ships that are currently watching more ships being rescued from the waters at the bay.

"King George V?" Y/N mumbled as he and Enterprise approached them. KGV and the other girls notices him and briefly saluted.

"Ah, Commander." KGV greeted as Y/N returns the salute. "Enterprise." She also acknowledged the other ship next to him and then she gestured at the girls by her side. "May I introduce to you the others. Prince Of Wales, Illustrious, and Nelson."

Y/N smiled and curtly bowed his head. "Ladies." He said. "Sorry for the delay, I visited Akashi an hour ago and had a quick tour of the place." He explained.

"That is quite acceptable, Commander. Besides, you are new in the base." KGV stated.

She then took her binoculars and stared at the ships that are being towed ahead.

"They've got us unprepared..." She bitterly stated.

"I didn't expect the Sakura Empire to make the first move." Illustrious remarked.

'Considering that this is Pearl Harbor 2.0...' Y/N grumbled in his mind. "That's a lot of damage they've inflicted." He commented, seeing the destruction everywhere.

"T'is no surprise..." Illustrious answered back. "But those  things..." She then intensely stared at the burning pieces of alien-like, futuristic ships and planes marooned and sunk around the bay.

"The Siren Technology..." Y/N mouthed.

"What do you know about it, Commander?" Nelson inquired.

"Wondering..." He answered. "If we could reverse engineer it to our favor."

That caught them off-guard with that bold statement.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" He asks them before he notices something amiss. "Wait, are you girls telling me that you aren't considering that as a possibility?"

"We... are busy dealing with them long before. So, no." Prince of Wales shakes her head.

"Hell..." He growled. "I'll write that down in my notes as soon as I enter my office." He then glances at KGV and PoW. "If the Sakura Empire had help from the Sirens. There's a possibilty that they have already replicated their technology." He commented.

He then walks ahead and gives them a look. "But for now, let's focus on rebuilding this place."

"Indeed, Commander. The main Royal Navy forces will arrive soon." Illustrious reported.

"Main... Forces?" Y/N looks at her.

"Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth..." PoW answers in response.

After the tall with KGV and the others, Y/N left them respectfully as he and Enterprise enters Azur Lane's Hospital.

They were greeted by a pink-haired girl in a nun outfit, hurriedly wiping the sweat on her forehead.

"She's Vestal?" Y/N whispers at Enterprise. "Why's she wearing like a nun?"

Enterprise didn't answer as she might offend the Repair Ship.

"So, you are our new Commander, hm?" Vestal inspected him. "And hello, Enterprise! I hope you don't have some wounds here and there?"

"None that I may worry you, Vestal." Enterprise smiles briefly within her stoic face.

"Good, good!" Vestal eagerly nodded. "I believe I can't allow a tour of the hospital for now, Commander." She said, Y/N simply waves his hand and dismissed this.

"I understand, Doc." Y/N said. "Perhaps I could reschedule it tomorrow."

"Thank you, Commander. Oh, anyways...!" She then places the tray down and gestured at the door. "Enterprise, your sister wants to talk to you. She says it's too important not to ignore."

"Yorktown...?" That changed Enterprise's stoic expression from before to being shocked. "Alright."

She then faces Y/N and apologized with a nod. "I'm afraid I cannot escort you for the time being, Commander."

"Nonsense, Enterprise. I'm okay for now. Just go to your sister, it might be important for you."

She, again, nodded in gratitude and left him in the hallway with Vestal.

"Well?" Vestal looks at him. "I have leave you, Commander. Too many wounded to prioritize."

He smiles as Vestal hurriedly walks away, entering a room on the right. Y/N then sighs as he exited the hospital and walked back where he was greeted by Unicorn herself.

"Eh?" Y/N blurted out in surprise, seeing the small girl tugging his white pants. "Unicorn? What is it?"

She then bows at her, thanking on what he did to defend her from before against Akagi and Kaga. "T-Thank you for protecting me, C-Commander!"

Y/N chuckled and scratches the back of his head. "You are most welcome. Are you hurt by any chance?"

"I am fine, thank you!"

"Commander!" A voice interrupted them as the destroyers' Laffey and Javelin ran up and approached Y/N and Unicorn. Well, it was just Javelin who ran up to them as she drags Laffey away from the shores.

"Oh, hello Javelin and Laffey."

"Sleepy..." The drowzy Laffey comfortably lies on the ground while Javelin groans on dragging her around.

"Get up, Laffey! You're in front of the Commander!"

"Hungry... Want to eat..." She mumbled.

"She must've been exhausted." Y/N inspected the girl and pokes her cheek. "What does she eat or drink?"

"She likes cola for one..." Javelin answered.

"Cola? Are you serious?" Y/N asks incredulously.

Javelin meekly nodded.

"Can you drag her to the hospital?"

"I can't do that all by myself, Commander." Javelin deadpanned.

"Well, let her rest there. She'll get up eventually."

"Laffey! Get up!" Javelin tried to wake her up, but Laffey sleeps like a log. Seeing that she can't do anything, Javelin collapses next to a sleeping Laffey. "Yeah, I think I'll stay with her for a while..."

Y/N chuckled awkwardly and waved at her. "That might be the best. I'll leave you to her, Javelin."

"I'll see you around, Commander." She said with a dejected tone.

With a sigh, Y/N decided to head onto the docks to see the ships that are currently fixing themselves. One ship he caught an eye of was from Cleveland's. He notices the girl waving a flag as a turret carefully descends onto the ship's missing emplacement.

"Oh-? Commander, hello!" Cleveland waves at him as she hopped down from the starboard of her ship. "What'cha doin? Haven't seen Enterprise with you."

"Yeah. She's having an urgent task in the hospital. and I am just taking a stroll around."

"Really? I'm not surprised." Cleveland mused. "Anyways, your ship is cool from what I heard, Commander! But where is it?"

Y/N smiles a little in a smug manner. "I hid it."

Cleveland pouted. "No fair! Unicorn told me that your planes hit that fox's forehead accurately! How did you do that?!"

"Y/N continues to give her a smug smile. "Guess it."

"Jeez! Why can't you tell?!"

"I'm still new around Azur Lane, Ms. Cleveland." Y/N gives him and explained. "If I show my ship around like a car dealer, then, the whole base will be compromised again. Do you want that to happen?"

She realizes this and shook her head. "No?"

"My ship's patrolling around the base, so it's fine." Y/N then fixates his cap and looks around. "Anyways, where's the main office?"

"Eh? Enterprise didn't told you?" She said with a hint of surprise in her tone.

"No. She didn't. That's why I'm asking." He said with a deadpan.

"If you turn left-"

Planes roared overhead, interrupting them as Y/N pulls out his binoculars and peered into the distant sea.

"They're here!" Cleveland said in joy. "Finally!"

Y/N had to agree with her as he lowered his binoculars. "Yeah... And there's a lot of them."

"Commander!" One shipgirl ran off to meet him with worried eyes.

"You're... San Diego, correct?" Y/N asks as they both exchanged salutes.

"Yes!" San Diego answered in confirmation. "The Main Fleet needed our help!"

"Main Fleet?" Y/N said with caution. "I though those girls beyond was the fleet?!"

"Those were just the remnants of the fleet who snuck out! We heard their distress signals southwest of the base, 1300 miles away!"

Y/N then looks at Cleveland. "Find any available ships that is fine and can still fight. If there's time, reach out to Enterprise!" He hastily ordered.

"Right away, Commander!" Cleveland snapped with a salute and ran off to the seas, hoping to gain a shortcut to where the other Royal Navy ships at now.

Y/N hurriedly paced away from the docks and stared at the seas.

"Where are you going, Commander?" San Diego asks.

Y/N stopped and glanced at her, smirking, as the USS Constitution, his ship, magically appears from the distance in a form of white wisdom cubes.

"To fight. What else?"
