~Nightmare's Pov~

Today was a slow day. Error was in his room playing Cat's Cradle, Horror was in the kitchen already eating all of the food we got yesterday, Killer and Dust are fighting outside, and Cross was sitting on the couch watching 'magic cartoons'. I think they were call An-I-Me, whatever, it doesn't matter.

I got up from my throne and walked around the castle. I saw an old picture of me, I wore a purple shirt with a golden outline, I noticed the golden crown with a waning moon engraved in it. I growled with disgust seeing that old picture of my weak self. One of my tentacles wrapped around it then took it off the wall. 'I should get rid of this thing' I thought as I brought it outside. I walked to a lake at the back of the castle.

It was pitch black, you could hardly see the bottom of it. The lake was made out of a tar like liquid almost the same thing of what my tentacles is made out of. I tossed the portrait into the lake and watched as it sunk into the tar like substance. I smiled knowing that the others will never find it. I then started to walk back to the castle. I walked into the living room and saw that the others except Error fighting. Error looked at me and sighed knowing what's going to happen.

"What are you guys doing?" I said. They all looked at me and froze, fear bubbling up inside them.

"N-nothing boss" Dust said stuttering like a little girl.

"*sigh* You know the consequences" I said

"Boss do we really have to-" I cut Killer off

"Did. I. stutter?" I said

"N-no boss" Cross said stuttering like Dust did. Pathetic, but I'll let it slide cause he does the most work out of the four. (Favoritism am I right?) 'Shut up author' (MY WALL-)

"Good, now get to work" I said

They all got up and walked into the closet. After a few seconds they got out with cleaning supplies. (You thought of something different didn't you?)

"Do we have to clean the WHOLE castle?" Killer said

"You know the rules Killer and you broke it. Now you must pay the consequences" I said, like a mother scolding their child. (Hehe mama Nootmare-) 'Shut it' (STOP BREAKING THE FOURTH WALL-)

"But-" I cut Dust off

"No, 'buts' Dust you were the one who started the fight in the first place. Now get to work or you'll have to clean the castle for the whole year" I said

After I said that they all got to work, Horror cleaning the first floor, Cross cleaning the second floor, Dust cleaning the outside of the castle cause he started it, and Killer cleaning the garden which was huge.

"Error, I'm going to travel to some Aus, make sure they're working" I said

"Ø₭₳Ɏ, JɄ₴₮ ĐØ₦'₮ ₮₳₭Ɇ ⱠØ₦₲" Error said

"I'll be back soon" I said as I opened a portal. Then I went through it.

~Error's Pov~

Nightmare went through the portal then closed it, as soon as I knew that he was gone I called the others.

"₲ɄɎ₴!! ₦ł₲Ⱨ₮₥₳ⱤɆ'₴ ₲Ø₦Ɇ ₦Ø₩!!" I yelled. The others appeared in the living room.

"About time" Horror said.

"You guys wanna cause some destruction to Swap?" Killer said

"Sure" Dust said. They all looked at me.

"*₴ł₲Ⱨ* ł'ⱠⱠ ⱠɆ₮ ɎØɄ ₲Ø ₮Ø Ʉ₦ĐɆⱤ₴₩₳₱ ฿Ʉ₮ ɎØɄ'ⱤɆ Ø₦ⱠɎ ₳ⱠⱠØ₩ɆĐ ₮ⱧɆⱤɆ ₣ØⱤ 20 ₥ł₦Ʉ₮Ɇ₴ ₴Ø ĐØ₦'₮ ⱧØⱠĐ ฿₳₵₭" I said while opening up a portal.

"THANKS ERROR" They all said while running into the portal

~Nightmare's Pov~

I decided to go to the Undertale's surface. Once I walked through the portal all I met was darkness. 'Great it's nighttime' I thought as I walked around the surface. Then out of the corner of my eye I saw something moved. I turned my head over there and there was nothing. I continued to walk keeping my eye out for the thing again. Like last time something moved.

I teleported behind it and saw a furry thing looking where I was just at. It had blackish f/c fur. (If your favorite color is black just ignore the blackish bit) Almost blending in with the surroundings due to how hard to see it. I picked it up with my tentacle to see it's face. It had s/f/c wide eyes looking at me with curiosity. I put the thing in my arms and hold it, it bit one of my tentacles. I hissed in pain, then the furry thing looked at me again. 

I scoffed at the thing and was about to kill it until it made this purring sound. I looked at the thing and it had fallen asleep. It kept making that purring sound. 'Maybe having a pet won't be so bad' I thought as I looked down at the small creature. I then made a portal to the castle and then walked through it.

"Error" I said. Error jumped in surprise that I was back so early.

"₩Ⱨ₳₮ ł₴ ł₮ ₦ł₲Ⱨ₮₥₳ⱤɆ?" He asked

"What is this thing?" As I gestured to the small thing in my arms.

"₮Ⱨ₳₮'₴ ₳ ฿₳฿Ɏ ₵₳₮ ØⱤ ₭ł₮₮Ɇ₦ ฿Ø₴₴" He said.

"Thanks" I said as I walked up to my room.

I laid down on my bed and laid the kitten on top of me. It made soft snoring sounds as it slept. I slightly smiled at the kitten.

"I'll name you y/n" I whispered.

Y/n's ear slightly twitched from hearing my voice. I started to softly pet them soon falling into a small trance. My eyelids started to get heaving. Before I fully fell asleep I said.

"And I'll protect you no matter what" I said as my eyelids closed fully.

Then falling asleep with my new pet, Y/n.
