Protagonist >:)

His name is Jackson Victor, he lives in Chicago with his parents and little sister. Man is a massive introvert because he's bullied and that seems to happen less when he's quiet.

Not gonna reveal much about them.

Okay this is the thing Roaming the world now. They really have no physical appearance, but if they did it would look like this.

They are called seers. Both this and their appearance is ironic because they cannot see - they can only hear, smell, and taste. They use that to find victims. They have no consciousness, they are just creatures from like the underworld, basically.

Or that's what people say... no one knows where they're from.

They act like a virus. They'll infect someone, and that person will be infected (obviously). Sometimes they lose their mind immediately, sometimes it takes a bit. Some symptoms of a non-active seer (in which the person would be a carrier) are hallucinations, strange thoughts that aren't yours, and unconscious muttering to oneself. If the seer is activated, the infected's pupils will dilate and they will immediately see eyes appear all around them. The surroundings will be normal except for these eyes and an abnormal darkness seen only by the victim. They don't do anything, they just kind of stare, and that will quickly cause the victim's mentality to break down and, very quickly after that happens, for them to quickly die (I'll save the details for the book). Any contact with these seers will result in being infected, one way or another.
