After Anjali and Kaira left, Khushi did not speak anything more just went back to bedroom. Why was she so frustrate after coming to know about Arnav's going to Singapore!!! He had been away for years, she was never this much disturbed before.. But this time, after coming to know about his leaving, she was unable to accept it.. And that too  for the next 6 months!! Even this mere idea was enough to kill her peace of mind. 

On other hand, Arnav should not miss this too.. If Baba was saying something  it means, it's beneficial for him only. It will bring more success to their company at the same time he will get the opportunity to extend his own talent and knowledge more as this is going to be his first project outside country!! Standing by the window, Khushi touched the wind chin he had hanged there.. Then heard the door opening sound, Khushi pulled her hand away ,she had already known who it must be, Khushi directly went to dressing table, took a beautiful nail colour bottle and went back to bed, started applying on her toe nails.

She just wanted to divert her mind.

Arnav locked the door from inside. Each time Arnav locks the door to their bedroom from inside, gives her a butterfly feeling in her stomach.. this feels too domestic and close !! Khushi did not try to make any eye contact.

He  just stood there silently, watching her actions. She was trying to show, she was all right and not affected at all. Arnav reached by the edge of bed, Khushi noticed him near her and tried to leave from there, but Arnav held her by her feet not letting her move. Khushi struggled

" Leave me Arnav!!" (She said angrily.)

Arnav forcefully made her sit back, he looked up at her face but she turned her face away.  Arnav silently took that nail color bottle from her hand and before she could react, he started painting her toe nails. Her words again stopped in her throat, why this man always acts like this and tries  to calm down her anger in his way?? Can't she be angry with him?? And most importantly what's the need of acting like a charmer now and trying to be this nice, when he is leaving after 3 days and that too for next 6 months!! Her heart felt heavy.. For a moment she thought to smack, either to herself or him!!

 He had bowed his head while painting her nails, as a result his head was near her face level.

She raised her hand to his hair, lightly touched his hair with her finger, Arnav stiffened.. Her touch was so sensitive!! Then she ruffled his hair through her fingers. Arnav could feel himself becoming weak in his knees as her soft fingers were going on massaging her head as gently as possible. He was done with painting her toe nails, looked up at her face and found her staring at him. Her eyes were soft like never before.

The situation was so intense for them, She was not saying anything, but she had a lot to say, a lot to ask, a lot to demand and ask him not to go!! Arnav watched her face, He could not resist himself more and raised himself a little planting a kiss on her forehead . Khushi closed her eyes feeling his soft lips touching her forehead.

His First Kiss.. Her first Kiss from him!! A simple kiss on forehead can be this intense and affectionate Khushi could not grasp. It was more passionate than any thousand kisses on lips. 

Arnav pulled back, Khushi opened her eyelids after almost 4-5 seconds. He was only staring at her intently, Khushi tried to smile at him but it was a mix situation where even after wishing she was unable to smile..and at the same even though she did not want to be super emotional either, but her heart was feeling heavy as mixed emotions were filling within her!!

Khushi asked after some seconds.

" When are we going for dinner??"

A smile came across his lips, she did not argue with him more. May be she understands it's what the demand of time..

Finally it was the day Arnav would be leaving. It was morning 5AM but she was unable to get any sleep for the whole night and that too for first time!! She turned to face Arnav, since last few days it had become her habit to hold his hand in her while sleeping.. She moved her eyeballs at their joint hands. Just some hours are left after this he would be leaving for Singapore!! She was feeling like her heart was beating loudly, demanding more oxygen!! She was going to be alone in this big room.. She just took their joint hands closer to her chest, near her heart.

Since the time, Arnav got up, he had not seen Khushi. For first time in these days, he was late and she woke up early, but this disturbed his mind. Climbing down the stairs, Arnav looked around and saw Khushi talking to Karan and Anjali who were there too to meet Arnav. Karan smiled seeing him.

" There is He!! Come here.."

Arnav joined them, Anjali gave him a tight hug.

" We will miss you Chotey... Again!!"

Arnav patted her head.

"I'll miss you too.."

They talked for sometime, Khushi escaped from there. Arnav was noticing her, why was she hiding from him?? He wanted to save this last moment from everyone for them!! Excusing from others, Arnav came forward to Khushi, before she could escape Arnav held her hand.

" Come with me!!" 

More than a command it was a demand from his side. 

Though Khushi wanted to deny but failed to do so. It was such a fragile moment that Khushi thought if he had demanded any other thing else, then she would not have resist herself too, why was she feeling so submissive towards him at that moment?? He caught hold of her hand and took her with him to their bedroom. Making her sit on recliner, Arnav went back to cupboard and opening the locker where he keeps his important papers and documents, he took out a small box. Coming back to Khushi, he pulled the coffee table and sat on it . Khushi was just watching him, opening that small box Arnav took out a Watch, taking Khushi's hand in his he said.

" Once I threw away your watch, you remembered that!!"

Khushi nodded her head, Arnav continued.

" You remember Di's engagement shopping day, you were so excited and I asked you why you wanted to join them??(Khushi was staring at him confusingly, why was he saying all these then??) That day, you took that watch I had gifted to you, but again kept that back not wearing that.. I was hurt when I saw that, but again on Di's wedding I saw you wearing that watch.. I was angry, I did not understand the thing you disrespected other day, why were you wearing that day!! I felt like neither me, nor anything related to me holds any importance in front of your eyes... So I threw that away thinking I would not get the next chance to see you ignoring my gifts!!!"

Khushi's eyes got widen.. He thought this?? But she had not done that because of this reason, for her that was one of her lucky things..

She stopped Arnav instantly.

" No Arnav.. I did not wear that on engagement shopping day because that day was just a normal day for me..Not any special but Di's wedding was special for me!!! And that watch was my Lucky one!! I did not disrespect that ever.. I just wanted to wear that on only those days which were important to me!!!"

Arnav stared at her unblinkingly, Did she do that because of this reason?? And what was he presuming then?? And his gifts was special for her... but he thought she was disrespecting it not wearing that, he thought she did not want anything in her life that would be connected to him!!! He remembered how he talked to her on Di's wedding, how hurtful his words were that day??

" I'm sorry Khushi.. I thought...I thought you don't want anything in your life that's related to me.."

Khushi shook her head.

" I had not thought like this Arnav.. That was your first gift to me!!!"

Arnav sighed, though he could not rewind the past at least that doubt was cleared!! It's important, because in life, he had no intention to grow any misunderstanding or bitterness between them..at least after coming so far!!

He said after some time.

" I had brought this watch for you when I returned from America.. (Khushi looked down at her wrist, Arnav was making her wear the watch.) But that time the situation was not favorable or should I say we again made the situation worst!! Actually every time, we have misinterpreted our words, created an opposite environment!!"

He looked up at her face, holding her both hands Arnav added further.

" You remember you asked me that day why I want you in my life?? (Her face was blank, Arnav added.) Since childhood I want you in my life Khushi..only for myself as Mine only!!! (His own eyes were soft.) Each time I see you distancing yourself from me, each time I find any damn reason that keeps you away from me I gets restless..  I feel as if I'm losing a part of my own existence..."

He took his both palms near his lips, kissing her palms softly Arnav said.

" Bohot Pyaar karta hun tumse Khushi.. If you ever walk away from my life, I will not be able to survive!!"

Anjali's eyes were teary, Aarav put his arm around her. Anita patted Arnav's cheek, kissing his forehead affectionately- Take care of yourself.. Call once you reach and try to come back soon this time Chotey!!

Kaira was standing with Khushi at a little away, Kaira pulled Khushi's finger, Khushi looked down, Kaira aske.

" Is he going some where??"

Khushi nodded her head.

" Yeah.. Did you say Bye to him??"

Kaira shook her head negatively, 

" Go and Say bye to him then.."

Kaira ran away from there to Arnav, Arnav took her in his arms, kissing Arnav on his cheek, Kaira said cutely.

" Bye Uncle.."

Arnav kissed her head, this is not the first time he was going, actually he had spent years staying away from his family but this time his heart was so disturbed that he thought it might stopped working any time.. May be then while leaving, his only intention was to leave from there, to go far away from there..but this time his heart was eager to return back!!! 

He had no idea how this six months was going to be!!

Leaving Kaira on ground, Arnav stepped forward to Khushi. He stood in front of her, her eyes were almost moist..She could not control herself, clutching his shirt in her small fist Khushi snuggle into his embrace just like a little kitten in its mother's lap.. She kept her head just above his heart, wrapping her another arm around his waist. She just held him tightly against her body.  

Arnav took a deep sigh before completing their First Hug.

His lips pressed against her hair making her weaker again.

The flight took off, Anjali, Karan and Kaira left from there to their place directly while Aarav, Anita and Khushi went back to RM. It's been a while now.

"Mumma, Drink some water..", said Khushi holding the glass in front of Anita. Anita was looking so tensed , disturbed and worried, this might make her ill. Khushi was getting worried slowly, she did not wish to find Maa at hospital bed anymore..

 Anita drank some water, Khushi sat beside her wrapping her arm around her.

" Why are you so tensed?? Relax Maa.." (She tried to console Anita.) Once Arnav reaches there, he is going to call you only!! Will not you??"

" I know Khushi.. But.. After so many years finally he had come back, it's not even 11 months and he again left and that too for whole 6 months!! I don't understand why business is so important for all men??" (She was upset with Aarav too.. )

Khushi had nothing to say, she kissed Anita's cheek hugging her more tightly from sideway!! Their emotion and longing was almost same for the very same individual.. The difference was that Khushi would have to wait for her Husband and Anita would have to wait for her Son.
