Author's POV: 

The day had come... the Royal Party for which you all had been preparing for a week. You were now in the large changing room where the maids were all standing waiting to help you dress up. Guests had started coming already but that didn't really affect you since the Palace Hall where the party was taking place was on the other side. 

"I wonder how he would react seeing me.." You mumbled as the makeup artists did soft makeup for you. Your hair was tied in a messy bun with beautiful accessories and you wore a little crown on top making you look like the princess of a fairy tale.

You saw yourself in the mirror smiling. "I look pretty beautiful, don't I?" You asked yourself before giggling. 
"I am excited to meet Mom, dad and Aimin after so long~" You cooed remembering the Queen saying your family was invited and they were coming as well. 

You got out and went near the Royal Hall peeking down to see everyone at the party. You analyzed everyone's faces and figured out who was who. You smirked walking down when the host of the party spoke, "Welcome the spotlight of the Party, Princess Y/N!" He announced as everyone's attention diverted to you. Many people were awestruck seeing a living angel coming down while some threw you jealous or annoyed looks.

"Why is this so awkward.." You muttered under your breath before walking down as your eyes met with him. You felt as if the world stopped as he walked towards you, he was wearing a purple tuxedo matching your colour. Your heart started racing as a crimson shade crept up to your cheeks seeing him in front of you. 

"They were supposed to come together, why did they come separately?" Jin mumbled but his eyes widened when he saw the same girl from before, the one who he fell for at first sight. He was standing there totally shocked when suddenly the girl came near him before bowing.
"Hello, Prince Jin. I am Na Lisa, daughter of the Vice President of 'xxx' company." She said as Jin just kept staring at her.

"Hello?" She asked seeing him totally zoned out.
"Oh yeah! Hi. I am Jin. Worldwide handsome.." His voice trailed off as a pink tint crept up to his cheeks while the girl smiled sweetly. 
"I think we've met before." She said as Jin nodded but shook his head.
"Ahh maybe? I don't know?" He said trying to act cool while his heart was racing at its peak.
"Ay hyung~" Jungkook came with a grin, seeing Lisa his face turned into a confused one.

"Oh hello. I am Lisa." He said as Jungkook smiled nodding. He looked at Jin then at Lisa as his eyes enlarged.
"Is she.." He shut up seeing Jin glaring at him.
"Okay then... you both enjoy~" Jungkook giggled going to the other side leaving his brother to enjoy his moment. 

Y/N's POV: 

"I know I am handsome but staring is rude." He said as I couldn't help but scoff at his arrogance. 
"I wasn't staring. You just look so ugly!" I said but soon we both stopped and smiled at each other realizing the repetition of history.
"It's a repeat of history." I said giggling as he nodded. 

"We have matching outfit colour." I said as he nodded smiling at me to which I reciprocated.

"How do I look?" I asked as he didn't reply but coughed looking away. Do I look bad? Who knows..?

"Princess Y/N. Meet Mr Johnson." Jin Oppa said as I looked at him before smirking. Taehyung bowed as I bowed to him as well. He also greeted us as we chatted a little. I must say people here are so fake! One after another, greeting everyone in the same manner, seeing the same response. What is this? Some repeating play?!

The only person I liked was myself. The only one not faking to myself! Anyways, those fake smiled look like alien skin which I wanna shred into pieces!

"Well. This is the reality of the Royals. Fake everywhere." Jin Oppa whispered in my ear as I nodded scowling when suddenly the host said, "Since the party is looking too dry, why not we hear a few words from the Royal Family who arranged this grand party for us." I sighed. There we go again. I do remember what I learnt but I lowkey don't wanna mess up. God help! :)

Taehyung and Jin Oppa followed by me walking on the stage as the people were staring at us. The King and Queen were sitting on the other side interacting with some elder people. News reporters clicking pictures and shooting. Bruh, I rather die. 

Suddenly, my eyes went towards Aimin laughing at me. That pig! Let me get down first! I will kill her for laughing at me!

"I, Prince Kim Seokjin, wish all of you a great night and a pleasant experience in today's royal party." Jin Oppa said as everyone clapped. I smiled clapping too but stopped seeing the stares I was getting. 

Jin Oppa smiled waving before getting down. The host looked at us before saying cheerfully, "Now the newlywed royal couple! We all would like to hear a few words from you both." I scoffed internally listening to his blabbers. Aren't royal parties supposed to be quiet and elegant? Why is he screaming like a chicken?! 

Author's POV:

"I, Prince Kim Taehyung, welcome each and every one of you in this Royal Party for everyone who couldn't attain my and Princess Y/N's wedding." Taehyung coldly said as you could feel a shiver rush through your spine. Was he that cold to you when you first met? You were sweating now when it was your turn to speak. 

You took the mic with shaking hands which didn't go unnoticed by Taehyung. He looked at you before looking at the people staring at you, more like piercing your soul with their gazes. 

"I, now Princess Y/N... thank all of you for coming here. And...." You stopped before thinking what the next line was. 
"Aish.. did I forget?" You muttered under your breath as people started whispering among themselves.

You could even hear a few words as if they were just saying it loud intentionally to taunt you.

"She doesn't even know what to say!"
"This is what happens when you marry off a royal to a random girl!" 
"She doesn't even know manners."
"Does the prince even love her?"
"Must be a forced marriage."

These words made you even uncomfortable. Being on your periods was on stress on this day and then them. You looked down sadly when suddenly you felt Taehyung sneaking his hand around your arms side hugging you. You looked up seeing him looking at you. 

He whispered near your ear, "And I hope you have a wonderful night in here. My greetings to everyone at this party." Your eyes largened as you remember your lines. 

You held the mic close to your mouth before saying, "And I hope you have a wonderful night in here. My greetings to everyone at this party. Thank you." You said smiling sarcastically at the people who were now whispering about you. 

You smiled at Taehyung who just looked at you with eyes that said, "Good job." 

"Aish.. I was about to throw hands." Jin said rolling his eyes after you both came down from the stage. 
"Hyung. You were so romantic when you pulled her closer like that.." Jungkook said as Taehyung coughed.
"Stop pretending to be so cold. We all know you aren't." Mina said as everyone chuckled. 

A while had gone and you met your parents and Aimin, she brought her boyfriend and you all had a good time. Half an hour passed by when the host said, "The party is always incomplete without a royal ball!" You choked on the chicken fry you were stuffing grabbing the attention of Taehyung who was near you unaware of the fact what you were doing. 

"What are you doing?" He asked as you coughed throwing away the chicken which fell on Mr Johnson's head. Your eyes widened as you quickly held Taehyung's arm before saying, "pretend we didn't see him." You whispered as he sighed looking back to see Mr Johnshon fussing over there.

"Let's all get a partner and come down to dance for the surprise ball!" The host said as everyone got ready with their partners. 
"Who do I team up with?" You asked yourself squinting your eyes. Suddenly a hand-pulled your arms saying, "Me." You looked at Taehyung confused before asking, "Do you know how to dance?" You asked as he looked down smiling secretly before saying, "I do. You?" He asked as you stopped your actions standing blankly.

"It's okay. Just follow my lead." He said as you nodded. Soon, everyone was ready in the surprise ball as the music began.

Taehyung held you by your waist as your tiny hand rested on his broad shoulder. You were moving along with him, stepping on him occasionally but thank god he didn't cry as you did. Or else the ball would've turned into something else already.

"Do you know you're terrible at dancing?" He asked as you huffed before saying, "I don't care. bear with me." You said cheekily smiling as he chuckled. 
"Why do you laugh so much?" You asked as he said, "Can't I?" He asked as you giggled shaking your head. 
"You can." You said as he smiled at you. 

"I am glad I married you." He said in a low voice audible enough for you. You could feel your cheeks heating up but you coughed saying, "Where's the cold jerk I knew after marriage?" You asked as he said, "Melted." He said as you looked at him confused but he shrugged it off with a smile. 

The music continued as you both kept dancing, you didn't realize when you were lost in his eyes and the same went with him. You felt as if time stopped as you keep staring at his eyes which made you lost in them.

Taehyung leaned in closer before staring at your lips. You closed your eyes as he blinked lowly before placing his lips on yours. 

Your lips moved in sync perfectly as your heartbeat increased. You could feel butterflies in your stomach and it was no different with Taehyung. The euphoric feeling felt neverending until...
