Levi Disciplines You

"Sent here for insubordination, huh?"

You cursed inside your head. Why did Hange send you to Levi?!? She could have just punished you herself or locked you up in a cell or something. Exactly how much did you piss her off??

Levi set down his cup of tea. "Tch. Just when I get a bit of downtime."

"Yes sir! I apologize sir!" You shouted, saluting.

He stood up, walking around his desk to stand in front of you. Your heart was already pounding out of your chest. With him being this close you were struggling to maintain eye contact. But you knew if you broke it you'd be in more trouble. So you just stood completely still. Eventually you couldn't hold back a nervous smile, your lips wobbling.

"What the hell are you grinning for, cadet?"

"N- no reason, sir!!" You shouted, your smile only growing wider.

"You think this is a joke, huh?" His eyes travelled down from yours to the rest of your body, slowly down, and then back up, his lip curled slightly. God, he really knew how to make someone feel like crap. The second time he met your eyes you instinctively looked away.

"Answer the question," he said

"No sir! I do not think this is a joke! I-" you swallowed back your sentence, figuring it was pointless to over explain yourself. Plus, it was kind of embarassing...

"You what?" He demanded, squinting at you. "Use your words."

"I..." Your head lowered a bit. "I s- smile when I'm nervous sir!"

"How honest," he said. You stiffened up when he reached his hand out towards you. He brushed off your shoulder, then held his hand up in front of him as he pulled out a napkin and cleaned it, as if he'd just touched something that was filthy. You felt like leaping into a hole and dying. "Then, what should I do with you? You're so jumpy just me standing here seems like punishment enough."

Yeah no kidding, you thought. Wait a second, maybe he would just let you off with a warning! You heard from others that Levi, although he had the reputation of being a monster, that he actually had a soft side. He could be in a good mood today! He might-

"Don't get your hopes up," he said harshly, as if reading your mind. "If this was punishment, what the hell would be a reward?"

"I- I don't know, sir!"

"It was rhetorical," he sighed. Stuffing the napkin back into his pockets he squinted at you, just long enough to make you uncomfortable. Dang it, he was toying with you. What was the punishment gonna be? You just wanted to get it over with already.

"Alright, down on your knees."

"Eh...uh, what?" You stuttered out.

"Are you disobeying orders again?"

"Yes sir! I mean, N- no, sir!" You shouted before dropping to your knees.

"Back straight. Lift your head." He said. You did so, not delaying for a second. "Good. Now raise your arms in the air."

You did so, and then watched as he walked back over to his desk and picked up a book. "Now stay like that until I dismiss you. Let your arms drop and I'll give you something even worse. Understood?"

"Sir, yes sir!" You said. Oh god. It didn't seem difficult at all now, but you knew that they would begin to burn soon. And who knew how long he planned to keep you like this. "Um...sir-"

"Don't talk. Right now, you don't speak unless spoken to."

You shut your mouth, fear setting in. Exactly how long did he intend to have you like this?? Considering it was levi it would definitely be a really long time. If your arms dropped then what would happen??

"I said lift your head."

Crap, your head had started to droop a bit already. And your arms already felt a bit heavier. Also the room was hot. Really hot. Argh, screw it. Just don't think about it. It would probably be over before you knew it.

It was not over.

Shoot, it still was not over.

Your arms and shoulders were burning, and your mouth was dry, your clothes soaked with sweat. You lost all feeling in your legs from being on your knees for so long, and every now and then you found yourself feeling a bit lightheaded. Levi yelled at you a few more times to keep your back straight, keep your head up, don't let your arms sag, and if he yelled at you one more time you would probably lose it. Erwin came in at some point to have small talk with Levi, glancing over you and sending a sympathetic look. These guys talked for god knows how long about tea.

T E A. WHAT THE HELL.

Of course Levi was still paying attention to you somehow, and yelled at you even in Erwin's presence, which was embarassing. Erwin just smiled though and gave you another look that said, "Hang in there!" Commander Erwin was way nicer than Captain Levi...you grumbled internally.

Long after Erwin left, and long after you thought of giving up multiple times, Levi stood from his desk and stood in front of you. You tried to keep your head up and stare straight ahead, but if you did that, you would be staring right at his...well...

You couldn't bring yourself to look up at him our of anxiety of eye contact, or drop your head, so you opted for awkwardly turning your head to the side, your cheek pressed against your shoulder.

"Look at you," he finally said. "Sweating like a pig. Disgusting," he said, scoffing.

You were quite literally too tired to take offense to itm "S-sir, may I l-lower my arms now..."

"I said you only speak when spoken to. Should I make you stay like that all night?"

Panicking, you quickly looked up at him. You opened your mouth to plead against it, but he spoke before you could.

"I was kidding. You deserve it, but I feel too bad for you. Look, you're shaking all over. It's pitiful."

You bit back any response you had and turned your head again. He didn't say you could lower your arms yet, so you kept them there, although- he was right- they were shaking really hard. Wouldn't he let you go now...?

"Alright, stand up."

You were about to drop your arms, but he didn't distinctly tell you do do that. With much effort, you rose to your feet, a prickling sensation sweeping through them as you regained feeling.

"You know how to listen. Good," he said. "Drop 'em. I expect you to do better from now on."

Before he could even get the second sentence out, your arms had already collapsed, and you felt them become warm as you regained feeling in them.

With shaking arms, you saluted. "I...I will, sir!" You yelled in a weaker voice than you wanted.

"Alright, you're dismissed. Get some sleep, and for God's sake, take a bath. I had to deal with your stench the entire time."

"Sir, yes sir!" You said, hiding your offense. You were suprised how he wasn't sweating at all. Could he control his sweat or something? How overpowered was this guy? Well, whatever. He was captain Levi after all.
