{This will be the last group shot as we wind down. These last chapters will be the couples officially getting together.}

Finally! The day of our Christmas party, and thankfully I had gotten over my cold just in time. I helped Laxus open the shop, like always and unlocked the door. The first people to arrive this morning were Levy and Gajeel, Gajeel carrying the small girl on his shoulder. I grinned slightly and Levy blushed as he set her down. "Oi what's that look for?" Gajeel grumbled. At first I thought he was talking to me until I saw Laxus beside me.

"For one, I thought it was cute, you saving short stuff from the deep snow." he said with a grin. Oh, that's why he was carrying her. Levy blushed and puffed out her cheeks. "And two, he pointed above their heads and I grinned. He had set her right underneath the mistletoe. They both looked up and turned equal shades of red before looking at each other. Levy started fidgeting with her fingers and Gajeel scratched his head. "Tch whatever." He grinned as he pulled Levy to their usual table. She looked almost as disappointed as I felt.

Even Laxus looked down. "Chicken!" he called before ducking into the kitchen. I couldn't help but laugh as Gajeel turned an even brighter red. The day went by slowly, the two eventually leaving when Levy wanted to change for the party.

The first to arrive for the party were Erza and Jellal. She was wearing a gorgeous long sleeved red dress that clung to her curves and have her a bit more cleavage. "Well I see who won the battle." I said with a grin. Jellal ginned back as Erza blushed and mumbled something about dumb luck. Next was the group of Natsu, Lucy, Evergreen and Elfman, along with the five year olds. The Cora and Evergreen wore deep green dresses that had white fur trim and black leggings underneath. Lucy wore a white turtle neck and a pair of red jeans with knee high winter boots. Our favorite musicians were next, and I was over joyed to see them hand in hand. I could even see love forming in their golden thread. I almost cried but I snapped myself out of it. Juvia wore a cream sweater dress that reached her knees and cream leggings with her usual white boots and a white hat. Levy and Gajeel finally returned and Levy was wearing a silver sweater and green skirt with black leggings. A familiar black scarf wrapped around her neck. Gajeel set her down, this time away from the green leaves of doom.

My goal was to get every pair under the mistletoe and I was trying to think of a plan when I felt a tap on my shoulder. Laxus was holding out a camera and I grinned wickedly. He had already turned on music and the kids along with Juvia and Gray were dancing. I snatched the camera and quickly snapped a few pictures while Laxus brought the food and drink out. Gajeel and Levy were now dancing, he was holding her close and I could see the faint lines of love in their thread, but they just weren't connected yet.

It was the same for Erza and Jellal, Natsu and Lucy too. Elfman and Evergreen sat together and their thread was lined with red but it's like they were in denial. "Alright everyone, I want a picture of each pair under the mistletoe! Gray and Juvia first!" They both blushed but smiled. I wanted to start with my easy pair first. They stood together under the mistletoe and I aimed the camera. Gray was fidgeting slightly but he suddenly just sighed and turned Juvia towards himself. I grinned and snapped a picture as he pulled her into a deep kiss. Her face was bright red but she relaxed and threw her arms around him, kissing him back.

"Get a room!" Gajeel shouted. "Thank you for volunteering!" I said with a smile and pink flashed across his cheeks. Gray and Juvia finally moved and the new pair walked up, blushing furiously. Again the camera went up and I had a fidgeter. Levy quickly grabbed his sweater and pulled him to her height, planting a swift kiss in his cheek as I took the picture. His eyes were wide and his face was redder than Erzas hair. She blushed furiously and took a sudden interest in her shoes. "I think you broke him!" Natsu laughed as Gajeel just stared at Levy. "You two," I pointed to the pinky and blonde. "Your next."

Natsu pushed Gajeel and Levy out of the way, since they were both broke. Cora and Carter stood with them, each in front of their parent. Natsu wrapped his arm around Lucy's shoulder as I lifted the camera and he kissed her cheek. I couldn't help but giggle as Carter mirrored him when I took the picture. I motioned for Erza and Jellal to step forward. They stood awkwardly beside each other and I sighed. "Pretend you finally confessed and you both love each other." Laxus suddenly said. They both blushed bright red and looked away and I laughed. Jellal gently wrapped his arm around Erzas waist and pulled her close. It wasn't a kiss but it would have to do for now. "Last one!" Elfman and Evergreen took their places and as I held up the camera, Evergreen moved, mimicking Levy. But instead of on the cheek, she full on kissed him, earning a kind of squeek from the big man. I clicked the picture as I giggled and they both blushed red.

"One more." Lucy suddenly said, taking the camera from me. I raised an eyebrow at her then blushed as she glanced at Laxus. I gulped a little as he took my hand and lead me to the mistletoe. Lucy held up the camera and I blushed bright red as I felt his arm wrap around me and he used his free hand to tilt up my chin. I thought I would pass out as his lips pressed to mine. They were so warm and soft I couldn't believe it. I tried to remember every detail of the soft skin as he pulled away but my mind was blank. Laxus grinned down at me as I just stared wide eyed. "Now you broke Mira!"
