But here's a recap. It's been five years since Spider-Man joined the superhero team known as Young Justice. They've been like family to Peter, and have even been there during his darkest times. Peter stumbled onto a conversation regarding Kaldur/Aqualad. Kaldur did not betray the team, and has been undercover the whole time, and had no ill will towards the team. Artemis was planning on faking her death to go undercover with Kaldur. But Peter suggested being the one to fake his death. And that's what happened. Kaldur pretended to kill Peter, and the Webhead ingested a pill that would slow his heart beat to a point where not even a Kryptonian could hear it. The Team thinks Spider-Man is dead. But Dick, Wally, Kaldur, Artemis, Tony Stark, and Aunt May know Peter is alive and well. Peter is now going by the pseudonym Tommy Thompkins, and until he and Kaldur complete their mission and succeed, Spider-Man is dead for now.
