I woke up in the morning and felt a slight weight on my chest. When I look down it was none other than my little wifey who's sleeping peacefully right now. I carefully get up from the bed in order to not to wake her up afterall she needs rest now. After properly detaching myself from her, I placed my hand on her forhead to check if she still has fever or not. But to my disappointment, her forhead is still a little bit of hot indicating that the fever has not completely gone. Yeah, it reduced but still it's there. Covering her with the blanket, I kissed her forhead lightly and made my way in the washroom to freshen up.

After quickly doing my routine and showering, I got ready in a white plain t shirt and some grey trousers. Ofcourse I'm not going to wear formals because there's no way I'm gonna leave my wife here in this condition and go to office. She always comes first for me.

After coming out from the closet, I sat near my sleeping beauty and started caressing her soft cheek with my hand due to which she snuggled more into me and I chuckled lightly seeing her cuteness. I decided that I should get some towel and water for her because her fever has not completely gone yet.

I was just about to take all the things, when a sound of knock came. I was expecting mom or dad in this early morning as it's only 6 am now but there stood Pooja bhabhi who has a furious look on her face and Abhi bhai who was trying to calm her down.
Just as I opened the door, she started screaming at me which made me back up a little but she's still screaming at me while taking every step forward if I step back.

"MR. REYANSH SINGHANIA! Why am I finding out that my best friend got a fever. You should take care of her but she fell sick. I knew it, that you can't take care of her. I knew that she deserves a better person but you dumbass have to marry her. Why can't you-" she said with rage.

"Babe! It's okay. Calm down." Abhi bhai said to her but she denied and started to speak again when I cut her off "Bhabhi, I know she deserves the best but I'm trying to become the best for her. I know it's my mistake and I should've taken care of her but I promise I'll be more careful next time with her." I said with determination because only I know how it felt when I saw my baby in fever and tears in her eyes.

She narrowed her eyes at me as if she was suspecting me if I was being truthful or not.

"Okay, I give you an another chance." She said I finally sighed in relief because I know how she's so protective over her, well everyone is.

"What happen?" A soft voice came from behind and I saw her waking up and sitting on the bed.

Shit!! Due to our arguing, she woke up. She didn't even sleep properly last night.

"Good morning Angel" I went towards her and placed a kiss on her forhead.
"Oh Mr. Hands off her. I'm gonna take care of her today." Pooja bhabhi said to me while shooing away me.
"But-but you said that I got another chance." I replied.
"Yeah but you-" she started to say but Abhi bhai cut her off "Pooja! It's alright. Let him take care of her." And she huffed but still agreed.

Ohh thanks! Thank you so much bhai.

I send him a look of 'thanks' and he nodded in understanding.
"Guys! Please tell me what happen..ahh..my head hurts." Ishu whined while holding her head with her hand.
"Your fever is not gone yet, take rest for now." I sat beside her and took her in my arms.
"Aww.. my little panda is sick." Pooja bhabhi cooed to uplift her mood as she's sick now.
"Don't call me that." She replied and snuggled more into me.
"I know you don't like me calling you that, that's why I said it." Bhabhi said which make her giggle a little.
We were just talking her and there when bhabhi said "Ishu, take rest now and we'll be going. Also please get healthy soon because we both will be going honeymoon in 4 days and I don't want to leave my bestie here sick." and she nodded her head.

After they both went out, I asked her "Do you want to sleep some more time?" And she shake her head in denial "I'll go and take a shower, I'll feel better after that." She said.
I hummed and asked playfully "Do you want me to help you in the shower?"
Listening to my statement, her eyes went wide and she hid her face in my neck "You're such a Shameless person."
I chuckled after seeing her red face but still let her go.

As she was taking a shower, I went downstairs and met with all my family members.
"Rey, how she's feeling now?" Mom asked me.
"She's better now but still her fever is not gone completely." I answered her while taking a bite of apple that I took from the table.
"Wait! I'll cut some fruits for her and then send some light breakfast for her in your room. After then, she can take the medicines." Mom said and I nodded.

Dad was asking me about some projects when mom came with a tray in which a bowl was kept of fruits and some juice.
"Thanks mom." I kissed her cheek and she kissed my forhead.

I went towards our room with the tray in my hands. I opened the door to see my angel talking with someone on her phone.
"It's just a fever....yes I understand." She said on the phone and listened to the other person.
I went towards her and kept the tray on the side table and sat on the bed waiting for her to end the call.
"Hmm..no no it's okay.....yeah" she came towards me still listening to the other person on the phone and kissed my cheek.
'Hi' she mouthed.

God!! She's looking so ravishing right now.

I became close to her and kissed her lips and she started kissing me back still on her call. A moan escaped from her mouth when I lightly bite her lower lip.
After detaching myself from her, i saw her completely red looking at me with those killer eyes of her.
"No..no..nothing happen. It's just...um..I'll call you later. Yeah bye." She quickly said to the person on her phone amd cut the call.

"Ansh! I was on call." She said with a glare.
Even she looks hot while glaring like a cute kitten.
"You were giving the other person more attention than your husband. So I just tried to gain some from you and it worked." I said and winked at her.
She cleared her throat and looked here and there to avoid the eye contact with me.
So I lift her up and sat her on my lap.
"Who was on the call?" I asked her while taking the bowl of fruits from the table.
"Siddharth....he said that he'll come next month because he got some urget work." She answered.

I clenched my jaw after hearing his name but calm myself down because I don't want her to know that I'm jealous of her so called guy best friend whom I haven't even met yet, so I just nodded and started feeding her fruits that mom gave me.
"Anshhhh...not this please." She whined after seeing the fruit bowl which consists of papaya, apples, bananas and some berries.
"But why? I've heard that you like fruits then why are you denying to eat?" I asked her with a frown.
"Yes, I do but I don't like papaya that you're feeding me." She said pointing to the fork which has a papaya.
"Okay mam! I'll eat them but the rest fruits are yours to eat."

"Can I have kiwi instead of them?" She asked looking up at me after some time.
"You like kiwi?" I asked her and she nodded "They're my favourite."
"Okay, then you can eat kiwi later because there are no more kiwis in our home." I said to her.

God! For the first time, she said she like something and I can't even complete her wish.

After finishing the fruits, I gave her the medicines because she said that she doesn't want to eat more which I agreed because the fruit bowl was large enough to fill her stomach.

"Will you go to office today?" She asked me.
"No, I'll be at home today because my wife is not well right now."
"But you don't have to ignore your work for me. I'm fine." She said when a small yawn escaped from her mouth probably because of lack of sleep and sickness.
"You always come first for me so don't try to manipulate me with that eyes of yours. Just sleep and take rest." I tucked her in the bed.
"Can you lay with me?" She asked softly holding my wrist.
I smiled at her and just laid on the bed beside her.
She quickly wrapped her arms around my torso and placed her head on my chest. I also wrapped my arms around her small waist and kissed her head.
"I feel safe in your arms." She mumbled sleepily and a grin made it's way on my face after I heard her statement.

I wrapped my arms around her and whispered "And I feel like home with you in my arms. I feel complete with you." And kissed her forhead gently.

Soon she felt asleep and I detached myself from her placing her head gently on the pillow.
"May god give you sweet dreams." I kissed her cheek before switching off the lights and made my way to my study because I've to check some files of our upcoming project.

I went to my study and sat on my chair. I was just checking some files when I remember one thing. So i called my secretary and he answered it on the first ring.
"Y-yes sir?" He asked in a scare voice because usually I don't call him on my weekends or when I take a day off.
"Mr. Singh, order 50 boxes of Kiwi and send them at home. And one more thing I want them here in 2 hours." I ordered him.
