This couldn't be happening. He was just now allowed to stay, but now he lost his memories? What was he doing in the water anyway?

But I knew the answer. I had learned how Luke always made sure no one was alone. Which meant Percy wanted to help.

Luke stared at me, his eyes blank and unrecognizable. He had no clue who I was. But something registered in him.

"Wait. I'm Luke, and your Percy, and your Nico, and you," he hesitated for a moment, "who are you?"

I inhaled sharply, "I'm Leo, your-your fiancé,"

"I'm engaged? And gay?" He asked and I nodded, causing him to continue, "how long have we been together? A year? Two?"

"A month,"

"Wait. A month? Why would we get married after a month?"

"Because otherwise you'd go back to the underworld,"

"The underworld, as in Greek mythology dead people? Why would I be alive if I should be dead and why would I be in a mythical place?"

I glanced over at Percy, who had just had a similar conversation with Nico. The Italian looked at the two, "what is the last thing y'all remember?"

They thought for a moment, both looking at each other. "I remember being a..um...I'm a student at Yale. Which is where I met percy, who studies marine biology,"

"Oh," I said, "mind if I have a brief side bar with Nico?"

They both shook their heads and I grabbed nicos hand, pulling him over towards the camp. He looked at me and then them, before his eyes darted back to me, "what the heck happened?"

"Remember how Annabeth knew what she wanted to order but not her name? That's the life they would've had if their dads just abandoned then and weren't gods,"

"So how do they know my name?"

"Them knowing each other is a coincidence, but they recognized you and for it into their memories,"

"So why not you then?"

I inhaled, "my guess is because they've known you longer,"
