FIVE YEARS AFTER THE END OF THE BOOK

Kai was sitting in his best friend's café on Valentine's Day, which in his completely biased opinion, was stupid, why would you spend one day celebrating your love, if he could love he would celebrate his romantic relationship everyday. 

Amara and Kai made a promise to each other when Kai figured out he was Aro Ace, they would always be each other's Valentine. They would do all the stupid Valentine's Day couple things, but twenty times cringier and more dramatic. It was their way of making fun of people and of the fact that there was a holiday for love, which was stupid for them. 

He wasn't working there any more, he left after he kept getting audition's and parts for good shows. Amara didn't mind though, she was happy he got his big break. 

Amara, who was completely against romance or anything like it, put up a sign on the door, 'IF YOU ARE COMING HERE TO MAKE OUT, I'M GOING TO THROW YOU OUT!'

That didn't stop the countless people coming in who would order then sit in her booths and make out until Amara threw them out, Kai sat there laughing while it happened. "Why would you swap saliva in a public place?" Amara asked with a disgusted tone in her voice as she watched the straight couple closest to the two Aromantic's kissing violently. "I have no idea..." Kai said with a shiver. "You might as well just have sex right there while you're at it." 

"Thanks for giving me that visual, Kai." Amara moved and tapped the girl on the shoulder, "Hey Allo's, yeah. Can you not read or?" They split apart, the girl that was sat at the booth tilted her head, then in the world's worst American accent, "I'm sorry what?"  Kai shivered, she reminded him of Max's ex co-worker. "There was a clear sign on the door, 'If you are going to make-out then I will throw you out', it's written in big, bold letters and in different languages in case you have trouble seeing it, and you stupid fucking blond American Allo either didn't read it or can't read, so now I told you about it, get the fuck out before I pull you out the café by your greasy hair extensions." 

Amara waved sarcastically and said, "Have a shitty Valentine's Day Allo's!" Kai watched the couple leave, then laughed as Amara came back up to him. 

He fake bowed to her, "My Queen!"

 "Thank you, thank you!" 

Kai's phone went off at that moment. This was the first time in ages that he had the phone not on 'Do Not Disturb', he was already annoyed at it. 

"I have got to take this!" 

"Go! I'll see you tonight!" 

"Love you, my Cuddly Muffin!" 

"Love you too, my Egg Sandwich!"

ONE YEAR AFTER END OF BOOK

Raven made red cookies with Max, well, Max was making them and Raven was eating the batter. Max got frustrated at her, started slapping her wrist every time the younger girl would try and get some from the glass bowl that Raven had almost broken about fifteen times today. 

Max stopped trying after a while.  

Raven started taking chunks out of the red batter.

"Raven, you're going to get sick." 

Raven shook her head, "Nope, I'm immune from food poisoning!" 

Raven was partly correct, she never got food poisoning, even when she loved anything raw. Max was still worried.

The redhead got an idea. 

Max grabbed Raven's chin and moved her face from the bowl. Then she planted a kiss on Raven's mouth, it was sweet, Max could taste the batter in her girlfriend's mouth. Raven was too stunned to do anything. 

Max pulled away and continued mixing the batter, leaving her girlfriend too flustered to do anything. 

Max smirked. 

"WHAT THE FU-?!" 

The cookies were baking and Raven and Max were bored waiting. 

Raven gasped sudden and went to her phone, she put music on, it was music that you'd find in a film when there was this ballroom dancing scenes, Max looked confused, Raven grabbed her hand and pulled her up. 

"Come on, dance with me!" 

Max did as she was told, they danced around the free space in their flat, laughing along the way. They stopped when the timer went off. Max gave her a quick peck on the lips before leaving to check on their cookies. 

Raven smiled as she let her girlfriend go.

CURRENT TIME IN CANON

Clam and Anastasia were not having a good Valentine's Day. 

They had argued about twenty times already. It was about small things, Clam was busy trying to finish some commissions, Anastasia took that a personal attack. It wasn't. 

"Clam! Can we watch something now?" Anastasia asked for the fifth time in ten minutes. 

"No, I'm still working." Clam replied. Clam wanted to open a window and push Anastasia, hoping and praying that she hits the ground hard enough. 

"You never seem to want to spend any time with me...." Anastasia said. 

In Anastasia's opinion, her plan was stupid and taking too long. Over two years spent with Clam. Just for Kai. Anastasia didn't know why she was still with Clam, every time she would try and break up with her, Clam gave her a bunch of good news and stopped Anastasia in her tracks. Anastasia noticed Kai when he picked Clam up from their art class, then had her stupid idea to get together with Clam to get to Kai. Then it just got worse from there. 

"Because I've got a job. I pay the rent because you can't be arsed to get a job. I have to work double the hours to pay for this flat and pay for the amount of food your fat ass eats. If you want to spend time together, go get a job." Clam said without looking up. 

Anastasia gasped dramatically, "You know that my therapist says I can't get a job because of my mental state!" 

Anastasia didn't have a therapist, she just wanted an excuse to go to the café and stare at Kai, it was the first excuse she could think of. 

"You don't have a fucking therapist. I called the number and checked when your next appointment was, so I could take you out on a date, and she said you weren't her patient. You fucking lied to me." 

Anastasia gaped. "H-how long have you known?" 

"Today, I was going to give you a chance to explain, but you didn't. So why?" 

"I had one, but then I didn't really like her, so I'm getting a new one!" Anastasia lied.

"Bullshit." Clam was getting more than annoyed at this point at Anastasia's lies. 

"You know what, I give up. Yeah, I lied, You want to know why? I don't actually love you. I love Kai, I always have. When I was packing up I saw Kai standing at the door waiting for you and he looked so good, I wanted him so bad. I thought I should get to know him, and the only way I thought I could do that was to go out with you, so I could get close to Kai. Then it backfired. You fell in love with me, Kai was still following you around like a puppy dog. Y'know, I actually can't stand you. I hate your personality, I hate how Kai still wants to be your friend. I mean, you get a girlfriend, and you completely ignore Kai, as if he didn't exist. Even still, he respects you so much. You are a horrible friend." 

Clam listened to Anastasia's plan then snorted, "You are such a fucking idiot. You could've just asked me to get you in contact with Kai. You stupid bitch." 

Anastasia got embarrassed and blushed, "Shut the fuck up." 

"Only if you get the fuck out my flat. I don't want to hear a peep from you." 

"Whatever." 

Anastasia left.

Clam then threw her bottle on the ground as she finally looked up from her iPad. "FUCK!"

also i just want to explain the time jumps. i needed to break clan up but it also had to be the end of the book for some parts. so i decided that it was going to be different years because why tf not.
