When you arrive at the restaurant, you mentally pat your back for deciding to wear the dress you have on now as the place is unnecessarily luxurious.

It's drowned in crystals. Crystal chandeliers that look like a bunch of stars on the ceiling, crystal vases filled with all kinds of flowers; roses, tulips, lilly's, orchards, small crystal tables decorated with small pastries.

Despite the price you assume the menu to be, it's full. Chatter filled up your ears from the outside when you were getting out of Taehyung's car.

"Kim Namjoon." the hostess says and leads you to a large, polished wooden table.

It's chairs don't match, they are all unique, covered in gold, silvers and ruby's, some engraved with florals.

"The lady should sit at the head of the table." Yoongi tells the young lady.

"Of course." she replies, pulling the chair out for you at the top of the large dark table.

The gesture overwhelms you and you thank her more than enough times after you it down on the antique chair.

The people here have taken advantage of the size of the table as there are multiple vases holding bouquets of assorted flowers. Their colors contrasting with the dark hues of the restaurant.

There are multiple painting around the hall. Large, medium and small paintings all with golden framed bear the pictures of naked flying angels with curly blonde hair.

Women with flowers dancing in a forest with a dark figure behind a tree, random portraits of very pale people who don't dare to smile.

It's all so mesmerizing.

Jimin sits on your right, Yoongi and Jin beside him. Namjoon sits on your left, Jungkook and Hoseok besides him while Taehyung it's across on at the tail of the table.

He nods with a smile on his face as he makes eye contact with you.

Luckily, they got a table that was farther from the rest of the restaurant so you would be able to hear all of them from where they're sitting.

"We wanted to bring you here to get to know you more." Yoongi says, a small smile creeping on his lips, it looks so pretty on him.

You nod, "Well, what do you want to know?"

"What would you like to order?" Taehyung says and they chuckle.

"I guess that's a great place to start."

Two waiters come around with fancy crystal glasses, pyramids and diamond shaped engraving them.

They place them around all eight of you and pour cold water in, the sound of the liquid pouring from the big glass to the smaller satisfying you.

You all place your orders, and after a few more minutes your left alone again to continue.

"Where we're we?" Namjoon asks, intertwining his fingers.

"Can I ask her a question?" Taehyung says, leaning into the table, his curled hair falling on his pretty eyes very gracefully.

You nod.

"The house, it's beautiful, but I'm assuming it's only you and your mother, so why don't you sell it and how did you get it?"

"You had that one planned." Hoseok scoffs, raising his brows.

"Well, it honestly isn't an interesting story. But it is a big deal to my father's bloodline. My grandfather was a factory owner, a brick factory. He had never liked the way homes looked here and they were always too small for his large family." you tuck your hair behind your ears, "He had the idea to then build his own, he had a lot of children, my father being the oldest. So that's what he did, it was a five year project but it happened."

They all stay quiet while listening to just you, Jungkook doesn't know this either, you haven't ever fully explained the story to him.

It's a boring one in your opinion.

But they all seem interested, not saying a word. You usually see them all full in conversation, but not now. It feels absurd, but you appreciate their attention span to a story like this.

"My grandfather developed colon cancer and was bed bound for a year before he passed away. He wanted his eldest son to inherit the home so that it stays safe within family, that's the gist of it." you shrug, finishing your story.

"Where is your father now?" Jimin asks, his head resting on his chin.

"I don't know." you shake your head, "He left us for a trip to see his  brother five years ago but never came back."

"I never knew my parents." Yoongi suddenly says.

They all turn to him, "You wanna tell that one?" Jin asks.

He nods, "I mean, if we're getting this close." he clears his throat, "They were killed." he easily says, and your eyes widen.

"That's a regular pattern here." Hoseok try's to reassure, but it makes it worse.

"Regular?" you ask, your voice an octave higher.

"Jimin's father was killed, Namjoon's mother was killed too." Hoseok says with a weakened voice.

You stay silent, unable to figure out what to say to something like that.

"Well, my parents were farmers. They were very good ones. My mother worked with the animals and my father with the rest. They had many wholesalers, so many that they begun to be careless with all the connections and details." he puts his finger over his upper lip as he continues,
"Well, their business started to grow and it got attention. My parents were not so excited about this, they were humble farmers. One night their farm was raided, their animals slaughtered, weeds cut and they were kidnapped, held hostage."

You can't seem to take it all in, you're listening to it all, but it doesn't make sense.

How is this real, how has this actually happened to someone?

He goes on, "My mother was raped, beat, choked, starved. My father was hung by the feet and beat with bats. All for money." his fists begun to clench.

"Where were you in all this?" you ask.

"See, this is why they were tortured. They're money was not stored within their land, that's stupid. It was at a home on the other side of the country. I was at that home with my grandmother, there was the money too. They sent their cash in every month and my grandma would take care of it." you see the others take sips of water out of the corner of your eye.

"That's why my parents never told them the location of their money, not because they didn't wanna lose it, they didn't care, but because they didn't wanna lose me. So the gang kept torturing them, constantly.
When my mother was let out to go use the bathroom one night, she attempted to run, and that's when she was killed. Beat to death. My father died a few weeks later from internal bleeding." the knuckles of his hands have turned white, yet anger is not visible on his face.

"This is our world, Y/N." Jimin begins, looking at you with sympathy almost, "I lost my father because of bad business. Namjoon lost his mother because her father was in bad business."

"Didn't you get justice?" you look at him.

"Yoongi and I failed to, people stopped caring. Jimin's father was working with big people though, so his case is still active til now." Jungkook replies to you instead.

"And some of us are lucky enough to know them both, but because they were lucky too. They knew the secrets all too well." Jin says, and you quickly turn to Jungkook.

"What do you guys do?" you ask, eyes squinting.

"Business men." Taehyung answers.

"Too cliché." you reply.

"We all continued the businesses our parents had, that's all there is to it." Namjoon says innocently.

"Then how is Jungkook so close to all of you? He's my age, and in school." you look at all of them suspiciously.

"Our fathers were good friends." Hoseok replies, "I introduced all of them to Jungkook when he was fifteen." he nods and Jungkook smiles to him.

"So, your fathers were all somehow had successful businesses that their sons took over?" the waiters start to come around with your food in large plates.

"You're only thinking it's weird because you're making it weird." Yoongi tells you.

When the waiters finish Namjoon takes a turn, "Is your mother in bad business?"

As you stab your smoked salmon you look up at him, "Why would you ask that?"

"She left you here so easily." Hoseok replies for him.

"There's nothing to it, she has a boyfriend who has good money and likes to spoil her, she just doesn't admit it and covers it up with work." you rant, and they smile at your dismissal to a woman's secret, the woman being your own mother.

"This is all depressing, let's ask about other things." Jin says before eating a mouthful.

"Oh, I have one." Jimin says, putting down his spoon, "Your first impressions of us." he says.

"Ooh, I like that one!" Hoseok claps.

"Jimin was arrogant, Jin was too good for all of you, Yoongi was mean, Namjoon was too confident, Taehyung was obnoxious, and Hoseok was too hyper." you smile, putting your hands up as if your being targeted.

They all frown, groan and whine.

"Why was that so easy for you?" Taehyung laughs.

"Because it's funny to compare it to what I think of you now!" you defend.

"And what's that?" Jungkook asks.

"Mmm." you pour your lip, thinking.

"Be careful." Taehyung holds up his fork as if to threaten you.

"You bring a smile to my face when I walk into
my home, that's all I got." you chuckle.

"Wow! Thank you, I'm tearing up." Namjoon wipes his cheeks with his lettuce and the rest laugh.
