Chapter 32

"ANDREA EMILIA DELGADO YOU BETTER LET ME INSIDE YOUR DAMN HOUSE OR I WILL BREAK THIS FUCKING DOOR!"

I couldn't help but cringe at how loud she was, like it was barely eight o'clock in the morning, thank goodness no one else was home but me or it would be a tough time explaining to my parents how one of their favorite persons has such a bad mouth when she's naturally a mellow person, especially when she's at my house.

I was scared to let her in at first, wondering what I did this time, but I couldn't even think of anything I did.

Oh shit she probably found out about the picture.

I facepalm then ran to open the door for her before she can actually break it down and well that would be hard to explain to my parents why our front door is broken.

"Finally woman! I was waiting a whole freaking millennia for you to open up," Karelyn rants off as she walks to my room, not even bothering to check if I'm following her.

I walk in my room to find her sprawled out on my bed like how she usually does, with her phone out as she is scrolling fast through her feed. I just decided to sit at my vanity waiting for her to start talking again, after a while she sits up and shoves her phone in my face with a stern expression.

"So want to explain to me how you didn't tell me about this? Or how you basically let your guard down and let some dumb hoe take a picture with you and your mans?" She questions me, giving me her signature 'you better start talking' look.

I let out a sigh, shaking my head as I look away from her and the phone.

"I didn't even find out till yesterday when he told me Kare... I don't know what I'm going to do," I confess, my voice coming out softer than I thought it would be.

"Oh... oh, hun come here," she pulls me in for a hug, holding my head to her waist as she stands in front of me, knowing I'm freaking out on the inside about the whole thing.

We stay there for a while, her combing her hand down my hair, as I just stare at the wall afraid if I let myself speak I will let my emotions get the best of me.

"Look, you shouldn't worry about anything alright? I'm sure he's going to be there every step of the way and if he doesn't I will kick his fine ass, plus look on the bright side... no one knows who you are, you can barely even see your face in this picture," she advised, pulling back so she can face me, a soft smile on her lips.

I just nod, knowing she was right and let out a breath to try and get myself in check, when I feel good again I smile at her as to let her know I'm good.

"Great, now that everything is fine and I got some answers I'm starving so let's go eat... my treat," she tells me, adding a wink to the end of her sentence to which I just roll my eyes at her and get up from the seat to grab my bag and phone and walk with her out of my room and the house.

"Can I drive your car?"

"Nope."

"..."

"Well it was worth the try," she shrugs as I get in the drivers seat with her in the passengers.

"Alright, where we heading?" I ask looking to her as I start the car.

"To Ontario Milllsss!"

"I thought we were getting food?"

"Oh we are, but I also want to shop," I just shake my head and head out the drive way.

*****

I should have known I would loose that girl when we started walking around the shops after lunch. I just shake my head and start walking to Forever 21 hoping to find her there, if not then just start shopping until I get a call from Kare telling me she was done looking for whatever she came here for.

I feel my pocket starting to buzz as I'm looking through a rack of clothes, pulling it out and answering with out even looking to see who it was.

"Hello?" I answer,

"Hello, beautiful." I hear that all too familiar voice.

"Hey bub."

"What are you up to?"

"I'm at Ontario Mills." I answer, putting the phone against ear and shoulder.

"You there alone?"

"Not really, Karelyn came with me... she just ran off somewhere so I am alone right now." I admit, a laugh leaving my lips at the end of my sentence.

"I figured, well are you doing anything later on after the mall?" He questions.

"Well not really... how come bub?" Knowing he likes it when I call him the nickname.

"You maybe want to come over?"

"Yeah of course, I will see you around... three?" I ask, looking at the time on the phone to see it's already one-thirty.

"Sounds good sweetheart, stay safe."

"I always am."

"I love you..." he whispers in the phone.

"I love you too Evans." I replied, a blush forming on my cheeks.

"Talking to your mans I see," I hear from behind me, causing me to yell in surprise and almost dropping my phone in the process.

"Pfftt... sorry chica I didn't mean to scare you." Karelyn wheezes out, trying hard not to laugh at my reaction but fails miserably as she starts dying of laughter, causing us to get looks from around the store.

I just shake my head at her and walk away to anther stand filled to the brim with clothes after a while she eventually catches up to me and starts shopping with me, giving each other advice the clothes we pick out and even coming to the point on picking clothes for each other.

In the end we each came up with at least five outfits and decide to just pay for that and move on to other stores before we ran out of time. We were able to hit a couple of our favorite stores like; Hot Topic, H&M, Victoria Secret (PINK), Rue 21, and some other before we decided it was best to head out as it was already two- twenty and the drive to Los Angeles was not as fun when there is traffic.

Once we got back to my house, Karelyn helps me pack a couple of clothes to go over to Chris cause she insists 'he won't let you leave so late... he's too chivalrous for that,' so after asking my parents if it was fine with them that I might stay over tonight (it's a Saturday anyways), I started getting my things ready.

Well, Karelyn was as she told me I had to get ready, again, and told me she had the packing 'in control' which makes me a bit nervous as she said that with a smirk and a wink. I said goodbye to Kare as I walked out with her to the driveway, promising her that I would let her known when I got to the house and headed out the driveway and to the freeway.

The only thing that popped in my head as I drove through the freeway was my concern about my clothing attire for today.

Hopefully Karelyn didn't pack me clothes that made me look like a thirsty hoe... but knowing her, she probably did.
