Well it hasnt been too long since the last update but it still took longer than I thought it would so I'm sorry, but good news is there should only be about 5-8 more chapters of this story so I should be able to finish it before summer break ends.

Your pov

"Here you go." Jake said putting a bowl of cereal in front of you

"Thanks." You responded putting a spoon full of cereal in your mouth

"So." Jake said sitting down by Finn

"How did you sleep?" he asked directing the question to both of you,

"Uhh fine?" You said more of a question rather than an answer.

"Finn?" Jake asked

"Good?" Finn said the same way,

"It seemed crowded in there." Jake said

"Are we doing anything interesting today?" You asked trying to stop the conversation from getting more awkward than it already was

"Everyday brings a different adventure." Finn said going along with it.

"Right." Jake said sighing

"Thanks." You said putting the bowl and spoon in the sink before heading to your room because you weren't really sure what else to do

Finn pov

"Thanks." Y/n said putting her dishes in the sink and heading to her room, I finished eating and put my dishes in the sink as well

"I came to wake you up at 8:32 but I didn't want to disturb you guys." Jake said smirking at me, I immediately felt my face heat up

"W-well I was i-" I stuttered trying to answer

"Its fine, did you tell her yet?" He asked leaning in

"N-no..." I said looking down still blushing

I heard a big sigh as Jake started up the ladder.

"Oh yeah, BMO says he ships it." Jake said on the last wrung

I felt my face heating up even more as I followed him up. Jake was cleaning up the blankets and I started helping him, until I got really bored and flopped down on a pile of pillows before getting lost in thought 'Should I tell her? My relationship with flame Princess was fine until I messed everything up, what if that happens again?' I thought as I stayed like that for a while

Your pov

You laid down on the bed and stared at the ceiling, your thoughts soon drifted to the events of this morning, 'd-does this mean he likes me to? You wondered as your face heated up, 'No he was sleeping. He didn't mean to.' You thought with a sigh, 'why does my brain like torturing me?'

(Torturing does not look right at all but apparently it is so \●~●/ )

After awhile your thoughts drifted, 'I bet my friends miss me, I know I miss them but if I could go back would I? Would F/n?' You got off of your bed and wandered out onto the bridge, you sat down and let your feet hang over the edge as you thought about everything, 'I guess I hadn't fully processed everything yet, coming to this other dimension or whatever from a literal portal sounded like it came straight out of a fantasy book.' You noticed something Red crawling down below, it kind of looked like a beetle but it was really big, you jumped up forgetting for a moment that you were on a bridge and you almost fell off when it started shaking, panicked you latched onto the rope and took a small sigh of relief before rushing through the door and down the stairs, you jumped over the treasure and out the front door. It was a beetle, it was walking upright and it was the same size as your fist, you watched it for a while before it seemed to notice you and it ran away. No it didn't crawl away it literally ran away. You saw an ant and followed it with your eyes,

"Uh, do you mind."

You looked up in confusion, no one else was around 'what the-'

"I'm talking to you!"

You finally realized it was in fact, the ant who was talking

"Oh, uh, sorry." You rushed before walking back inside, 'Can everything here talk? If so I guess I need to find something I like more than bugs, because here they're basically people. except there not, people... I guess I should have known that, considering Shelby's a worm.' You thought climbing up the ladder, you didn't see anybody in the dining room so you climbed up to the living room. Finn was laying on a pile of pillows and Jake was was putting all the pillows in a pile,

"Are you guys cleaning up?" You asked talking to Jake more than Finn,

"Yeah." Jake answered not looking up,

"I'll help!" You said picking up some blankets, you put them in a pile and went back for more, Finn stood up and started helping as well.

eventually, you had two really big piles, one of pillows and one of blankets. Jake stretched into a bag thing and carried basically half of the blanket pile upstairs, then Finn grabbed some blankets and headed up the ladder, you went over and picked up some blankets, before you started climbing up the ladder and when you were almost to the top you grabbed one of the blankets instead of a ladder wrung

"Eep" you squeaked falling back,

You closed your eyes waiting for the impact of falling all the way back down when you stopped falling

You opened your eyes to see Finn had grabbed your hand, he helped you up the last two wrungs.

"Thanks." You said letting out a sigh of relief.

"Careful." Finn said with a worried expression on his face,

"I'm fine." You said standing up and throwing the blankets where Jake was putting them up,

When you turned to head back down the ladder you realized how high up it was, if you'd actually fallen you might have died. Shivering, you headed back down. You walked over to the table, pushing it out of the way before leaning back in the recliner

"Do you have anything planned for today?" You asked boredly

"Not really. Oh Wait!! Marceline wanted to Jam today!" He said grinning

"Who's Marceline?" You asked, feeling .....something? You weren't sure but you didnt like it

"She's really awesome, I think you'll like her." he said climbing down the ladder.

'She cant be that great.' You thought following him down

You got to the treasure room and Finn walked over to a pile of treasure before picking up a sword, he put it through his backpack strap and you headed outside

Finn started walking away from any of the directions you'd been in before so you stayed beside him

"Do you miss your home?" Finn asked after awhile

his question caught you off guard, you hadn't really thought about it to much but thinking of all your friends and your life before reminded you of the question you had asked yourself earlier

"Yeah, sometimes." You answered

"Would you go back if you got the chance?" he asked quietly

You had to think about it for a minute before answering.

"No, no I don't think I would. Unless I didn't have anywhere else to live." You replied honestly, 'I really liked it here and I've started to get attached to Finn, Jake, BMO and Nepter. I miss my friends, but not enough to go back, maybe that makes me selfish, but it's true.'

"Really?" Finn asked

"Really." You said 'Why did he care anyway?' you wondered, 'oh probably cause he wants to know when I will get out of his house...'

"If you want me to go I can." You said not wanting to force him to give you a place to stay

"N-no, you can stay." Finn said stopping

"Oh, ok. " you said smiling to yourself, you started walking again and soon you could see a cave looming in the distance,

"Come on!" Finn said running ahead, you ran behind him not quiet being able to keep up yet, you slowed to a walk as you reached the mouth of the cave. Inside there was a small pink house next to a large area of water. You followed Finn up onto the porch as he knocked on the door, the door opened revealing a chick with long black hair holding a red Bass. 'Of course, why did I think Finn was single, he's way too nice,cool and cute to be single.' you thought, too upset to care if you basically just admitted to yourself that you liked him. 'Wait....am I jealous?' You thought waiting a moment before mentally face palming 'Well that's just great.'

"Hey Finn, Oh who's this?" she asked pointing at me

After she spoke though, you got the vibe that they're only friends. Which made the feeling stop, confirming that you were in fact jealous

"This is Y/n" Finn said motioning to you

"Hi Y/n, Is this your new girlfriend Finn?" she asked

"No." Finn said awkwardly,

New girlfriend? You wondered 'also didn't Finn say I was the only other human? Because this girl looked human to me.' You thought

She chuckled before stepping further inside,

"Well do you want to jam?" she asked

"Yeah." He said stepping inside, you followed them inside, but stayed standing awkwardly by the door

"You can sit down if you want." she said motioning to the couch beside her

"uh, thanks." You said awkwardly sitting down on a surprisingly hard couch 'what is this metal?' You saw a fluffy white dog walk into the kitchen, and it walked on all four legs, you watched as it came back in the living room and curled up under a window. 'Is this a talking dog or a normal dog?' You wondered

"Ok, give me a beat."Marceline said.Finn started beat boxing surprising you and when you looked over at Marceline who started singing, and floating in the air!!!! What the heck!?!?!? You didn't say anything because you didn't want to interrupt them, but you studied Marceline and couldn't see anything off about her. 'I guess I will just ask when they're done.' You thought laying back on the notably hard couch.

You sat up straight when they finished they're song. 'Marceline is really good at singing.' You thought

"I'm going to grab a snack." Marceline said as she floated into the kitchen

'Was she floating when she opened the door? I would have noticed if she was right?' You thought watching her disappear around the corner, Then Finn walked over and sat down beside you, Marceline came back in holding an apple. You were about to ask how she could float but noticed a pot of mushrooms on the window 'I guess you can't have flowers where there's no sun but mushrooms? I guess plants are plants.... Are mushrooms plants?' You wondered lost in thought, when you looked back to your right marceline was holding a....a white thing? It kind of looked like an apple but it couldn't be.

"What is that?" You asked pointing to the white thing

"An apple." she said confused

"Oh, are apples here white?" You asked, but just a minute ago she was holding a red apple.... what is happening? You thought more confused than you had been a minute ago.

"No." she said holding in a laugh

"What?" You asked mildly offended, it's not your fault you didn't know apples changed color here or something.

"Look" she said still suppressing a laugh as she floated in her kitchen, she came back holding a normal apple, then she held it up to her mouth and she bit it, the color started draining out of it till it was white,

"Are you a vampire?!" You asked shocked

"Actually, I'm Marceline the Vampire Queen." she stated floating above me, making you pale slightly

"Why are we casually hanging out with the queen of vampires!!" You squeaked frozen to the hard couch

"Well there aren't actually any other vampires if that makes you feel better." finn said sending an annoyed face to marceline

"It doesn't." You said as she made a scary face, you jumped up and bolted for the door and were almost out when you felt something grab your arm, you looked over and realized it was Finn. 'No let go!!! Your ruining my only chance of escape!!!' You screamed internally

"If you try to leave I might have to raise the undead and have them take you to the Nightosphere." She said smirking at you

You stood rigid with fear 'if I die today Finn so help me i'll-' your thoughts were broken when Finn started talking

"Marceline that's not funny." Finn said with a sigh

'No Finn now she's going to kill both of us!' You were about to strangle him until Marceline burst out laughing making you watch her warily

"The look on your face!" she said cackling

You watched her confusedly

"Are you not a vampire Queen?" You asked warily

"No I am, but I'm chill." she said finally managing to stop laughing

"Ok." You said a little less scared.

"Well, we better go, it's almost 5." finn said heading out the door with you in tow, you glanced warily back at Marceline as you left

"Bye." she said looking at you and making a terrifying face, It scared you enough that you tripped on a rock and crashed onto the cave floor, but you didn't feel any pain thanks to the adrenaline that was pumping through your veins. She chuckled as she shut her door,

"Are you ok?" Finn asked grabbing your hand and helping you up

"Yeah." You said not really sure what to make out of today's events

"Don't take her too seriously, she loves messing with people. But she wouldn't purposefully hurt anyone." He said leading you out of the cave

"Umm, Finn." You said after you realized he hadn't let go of your hand as a blush rose to your face

"Oh sorry." he said quickly releasing your hand

After you had been walking for a while your knees started to sting, you glanced down at them and realized they were a little scratched up from hitting the cave floor. It wasnt very bad but road burn or carpet burn hurts. You examined your hands but they were just a little red from hitting the ground.

"Want to race?" Finn asked causing you to look up and realise the tree fort wasn't very far away

Normally you would say yes but your knees were really stinging now. "Next time."you said motioning to your knees.

"Are you ok? It doesn't look too bad but road burn always stings." Finn said looking them over

"I'm fine, it doesn't sting to bad and it will stop hurting when i-!?" You didn't get to finish your sentence when Finn picked you up bridle style, you were definitely blushing. If this was another person you would have jumped out of they're arms and walked, because road burn doesn't disable you and you're not a damsel in distress. But for some reason you couldn't bring yourself to do it, so there you stayed for the rest of the way to the tree fort

Finn pov

'Why did I do this?' I thought embarrassedly as I held Y/n, my face was practically burning but I kept going, when we got inside I sat her down but realized it was probably going to hurt her legs if she had to go up the ladder

"Can you climb the ladder?" I asked with a worried expression

"Yeah." Y/n said red dusting her cheeks,

"I think you got a sunburn." I said looking at the red covering her face

"Er, it's just a sun kiss." Y/n said heading up the ladder

she seemed fine, I probably shouldn't have carried her. I thought blushing, as I followed her up. I walked into the bathroom and grabbed neosporin and some bandages before bringing them into the dining room

"I can help you if you want me to." I said awkwardly as I set the supplies on the table

"I'm good, but thanks." she said cleaning out the scrapes

"No problem." I said walking over to the ladder, I glanced at the clock before heading up 'it's only 3: 16, I still have a couple of hours to spare before 5.' I thought wandering up the ladder 'oh yeah!' I thought getting an idea, I raced up the ladder, "Hey Jake!" I said peeking over the edge of the floor,

"Yeah?" Jake said looking up from his game

"Do you want to go to the Choose Goose market?" I asked getting a idea,

"Yeah I guess so."Jake said standing up and stretching,

"Ok, I'll meet you outside!" I said racing down both sets of ladders and out the door.
