Blair stepped over the trap as she followed behind Scott and Stiles into the Tate Household. Since Stiles was in front he was the one to open the door, causing a loud creak that caused Scott to panicked as Blair rolled her eyes in exasperation - already knowing Stiles was as subtle as a rock.

Stiles held the door open quickly as Blair and Scott slid through the small gap so that they wouldn't have to cause anymore more unnecessary noise that would get them caught by Mr. Tate. Stiles tending to make some noise whereas both Blair and Scott seemed to do a better job at actually staying quiet.

Blair and Stiles kept passing Scott the stuffed animals that were laid on Malia's bed as he tried to catch a scent of one of them, none of them seeming to be working even with Scott's werewolf senses.

"All I'm getting is some animal smell." Stiles and Blair moved to a different part of the room to try and find something else for Scott that had a more distinct scent of one of the Tate daughters. Blair turning to Scott slightly as she tried to figure out what animal he could possibly be smelling.

"What kind of animal?" Stiles asked as Blair passed him another him stuffed animal to give to Scott before rummaging through the room for other items - moving away from the bed when she realised there was nothing else on there that could help them.

"Please, don't say coyote. I am not going into any animal's stomach with Buzzcut." Blair mummered from her spot on the ground as she quietly searched in the space near the drawers. Blair running her hands across the desks, only coming along photographs and other objects that wouldn't hold a strong scent.

Stiles stopping his search as he held his hands up in offence at Blair's comment - Scott motioning to keep searching instead of picking a fight with Blair which would obviously cause noise. Scott didn't want to have to separate the two while they were trying to not get caught. Stiles begrudgingly going back to searching, deciding he would bring up the insult later when the two got home.

"Dog." Blair stood up beside Scott as the three spotted a dog at the entrance, growling at the group. Blair's eye's widening as she swatted Scott's shoulder to try and tell him to do something rather than standing there in shock staring at the dog.

"Hi, puppy. Get rid of it." Stiles ordered Scott as he shoved the teddy bear into Scott's chest. Scott clutching it slightly as he stared wide-eyed at the dog in front of him. All of them beginning to panic of possibly being caught because of the dog's barking.

"Me?" Scott asked, not understanding why he should be the one to calm down the dog rather than Stiles and Blair. Stiles and Blair staring blankly at him as they both wondered if Scott remembered that he was the only Alpha out of the three standing there. Both Stiles and Blair eye's turning into slits as they stared at Scott critically.

"Yes, you. Glow your eyes at it, something, be the Alpha." Stiles explained to him, considering his best friend's Alpha status, thinking that the group could use it to their advantage to get rid of the dog.

"C'mon Scott, you're like half dog. Help us out, please." Blair stared at her boyfriend who seemed slightly offended at her calling him a dog. Blair trying to get through to Scott to use his wolf powers to help them out as he still struggled to do anything as he stayed stuck in his spot while staring panicked at the dog.

"I can't. I don't have control." Scott whispered to the two as the dog began to growl louder at them. Blair closing her eyes as she prayed that Scott was going to at least try something.

"Okay, buddy, you're going to have to try something." Stiles encourages as Scott moved closer to the dog as he held his hand up to the dog in caution.

"Preferably before it starts barking, Scott." Blair added, tapping Scott on the back for encouragement as he approached the dog quietly. Both her and Stiles staring at each other as they hoped Scott was able to use his wolf powers to calm the dog down.

"Nice doggy..." The dog began barking loudly at the three causing Scott to jump back in place beside Stiles and Blair. Blair catching him as he fell back from the dog as she helped him stand up straight.

"Scott, really? Nice doggy, seriously. You work at a vet! This is literally your profession." Blair expressed exasperated while she closed her eyes, gripping tightly onto Scott's arm - scared that Mr. Tate was going to catch them trespassing in his home and get the Sheriff in even more trouble than he already was.

"Apollo! Apollo, shut up! Shut the hell up!" Mr. Tate yelled, the dog finally stopping it's barking before turning and leaving the room. Blair sighing once the dog finally left the room not giving them the chance to get caught.

"God, I hate dogs." Blair whispered, getting a hurt glance at Scott at Blair's words thinking that she meant him as well when she expressed her hating dogs since she did call him half dog.

"You're a fake dog it doesn't count, Scott." Blair turning to kiss his cheek as she searched for something else in the girl's room - Scott breaking into a grin at her kiss before snapping his attention back to the search trying not to get distracted by his girlfriend even though he was still grinning when he turned back to the task at end.

"Here. Try that. Anything?" Stiles asked as he passed the book to Scott as Blair searched beside Stiles for something else incase it didn't work - coming to an end when she couldn't find something that could possibly have a strong scent.

"All I'm getting is that dog." Scott revealed to them, Stiles turning to the picture frame beside him and Blair that held a picture of the two Tate sisters as Stiles decided to take a picture of it for evidence - Blair deciding not to question Stiles ways of finding clues since most times they tended to work.

The three left once they realised they weren't getting anywhere in this room as they got into Roscoe to meet Sheriff Stilinski who was already driving up to meet them.

"I'm sorry. I tried as hard as I could. If it wasn't so long ago, I might have been able to do it." Scott explained, considering the amount of time between now and the case of the Tate family made it a long shot for him to even catch a scent.

"It's okay. It was a long shot. In fact, it was a pretty terrible idea. I think I just ripped a wound open in that poor man. I never should have brought you guys here. I don't know what I was thinking. Thanks for trying, all right? See you two at home."  Mr. Stilinski thanking the teenagers for trying to help even if it was a lost cause to reopen the Tate case.

The Sheriff tapped Scott on the shoulder before leaving the three teenagers, knowing he would see Blair and Stiles later once he finished his shift.

"Aren't there a lot of cases that go unsolved?" Scott asked as the three watched the Sheriff pull out of the street not understanding what was so important about this case to the Sheriff.

"Yeah, I just think this is one he felt like he could've figured out right now." Stiles stated worrying about his dad after the conversation he and Blair had with him in the station yesterday about his position being threatened by Agent McCall trying to impeach him.

"He'll find one Stiles." Blair patted Stiles on the shoulder sympathetically since only those two seemed to know how important it was for the Sheriff to figure this one out.

"Why is it so important now?" Scott asked, not knowing what was going with his best friend's dad or that his dad was the reason that they were going through all this trouble to help the Sheriff.

"Well, he wants to be able to solve one more while he's still Sheriff." Stiles explained, figuring that Scott had heard the news about Sheriff Stilinski from his dad.

"What do you mean still Sheriff?" Scott asked confused, Stiles and Blair parting their mouths in shock as they silently argued on who should be the one to tell Scott about his dad as the two finally decided to do it together.

"It's your dad, Scott."  Stiles started, Scott staring at the two for answers as Stiles tried to find a way to finish the sentence - not knowing how to explain that Rafael McCall was trying to ruin his dad's entire career.

"He's trying to impeach Stiles's dad, Scott." Blair revealed, Scott's mouth opening and closing in anger before moving back to the Jeep. Stiles and Blair staring at each quickly before hoping in the jeep after Scott - Scott sitting silently in anger the entire time as he got ready to go home and confront his dad about impeaching his dad. Neither Stiles or Blair deciding to break the silence since they knew Scott needed time for the information to process in his head.

Blair had been tossing and turning in bed the entire night, finally catching a couple minutes of sleep before the door opened and a flashlight shone brightly towards her bed - Blair already planning on killing whoever decided holding a flashlight to her bed to wake her up was a good idea.

Blair sat up straight, balancing herself on her elbows as Scott and Stiles entered her bedroom, shielding her eyes from the light as Scott finally turned it off causing Blair to glare at the two of them considering the time of night. Blair already knowing that whatever the two were wakening her up for in the middle of the night for was totally not worth it.

"Us three. We're gonna go out and find a body. A dead body." Scott announced, Blair groaning and flopping back on the bed as she realised the two weren't leaving her room any time soon. Blair finally opening her eyes to see Scott and Stiles waiting for her to leave her bed.

"Come on, sleeping beauty. We don't have all night." Stiles rushed, clapping his hands together in anticipation as he wanted to hurry this up so he could go back to bed as well - not exactly liking the idea of possibly finding another werewolf in the middle of the woods.

"Okay, fine. I'm coming. But I'm wearing my pyjamas." Blair complained, leaving her bed in her tank top and shorts as she grabbed her sneakers and a jacket that she had stolen from Scott the last time he was in the Stilinski household - shrugging it over her shoulder as she turned to the two boy's who were staring at each other proud that they had actually convinced Blair to join them.

"I hate both of you." Blair pointed to both of them, the two smiling slightly since they knew Blair was lying even if she was slightly cranky from having to wake up from her sleep.

"Does that mean we have to break up?" Scott asked, titling his head as Blair glared at him before walking over and giving him a quick kiss on the lips to answer his question.

"You're cute but wake me up again and even Stiles and his dad won't find your dead body." Blair whispered, patting Scott's shoulder before leading the group out of the room, Scott's smile spreading across his face at his girlfriend's teasing.

"Come on, Blair. You can't be apart of the pack if you don't go searching for dead bodies in the middle of the night. It's like an initiation." Stiles patted her on the shoulder as she shoved his hand off her before flicking him in the head, causing Stiles to rub his head in pain. Scott coughing to hide his laugh as Stiles glared back at him.

"I'm dropping out of high school and the pack if it means my sleep getting disrupted to search for a dead body." Blair threatened, Scott getting the tiny bit of amusement at the two arguing with each other - reminding him of the times the three snuck around to try and figure out what was going on with the Kanima.

"Scott, you're girlfriend is insane. She might be a psychopath, should I stop and check her into Eichen house before we go? This feels like an extreme threat to our safety." Stiles asked, still clutching his head in pain. Scott laughing as he walked away and wrapped his arm around Blair's shoulders, the two leaving Stiles glaring behind them.

"You know if my dad's right, that means there's another werewolf in town that we haven't met yet." Stiles explained as Blair wrapped Scott's jacket tighter against her as Scott led the three of them through the woods since he had the flashlight after muttering something about not trusting Stiles with the flashlight after the last time they searched for a dead body. Blair decided to not question that part since she really didn't want to know how much the two went hunting for a dead body.

"I know." Scott replied simply, not wanting to think about the fact that he might have to deal with another werewolf as he put his concentration on trying to find answers for the Sheriff - not wanting to disappoint his best friend's dad since it was his dad's fault that he was under investigation in the first place.

"Maybe they'll end up being nice. You know like a freak accident, werewolves have those, a lot." Blair tried to reassure herself that the three weren't going to possibly going to get killed walking through the woods by themselves even if there was a large chance since they didn't know anything about this possible werewolf.

"If it turns out to be something like triplets that form into, like, a three-headed hound of hell, I'm seriously not up for that." Stiles commented, not wanting to deal with a worse version of the twins since those two seriously gave Stiles the shivers.

"No jinxing it." Blair smacked Stiles softly on the chest, not wanting him to actually make it come true by saying it. Blair could not handle anymore Alphas especially if they merged into one big werewolf, something about that didn't sit right with Blair. She was glad the twins could no longer do it otherwise she might have thrown up watching them merge again.

"Yeah. Me either. Especially if I can't even control my own transformation anymore." Scott complained to the two, Scott and Stiles moving through the woods with Blair trailing slightly behind as she kept watching behind them - wanting to keep an eye out for anything coming behind them as her head kept snapping up at any minuscule noise in the woods.

The group heard a coyote howling nearby, causing Stiles to jump onto Scott which made his phone fall out of his hand and into the lake near them. Scott closing his eyes as he finally turned to glare at his best friend who might have caused him to wreck his phone which he definitely couldn't afford to fix right now.

"I am never watching horror movies with Stiles." Blair stared at Stiles in disbelief, not believing he got scared by a coyote howl when his best friend was a literal Alpha. Stiles rolling his eyes at Blair's comment even though he knew he would never willingly watch horror movies with Blair since she had an insane tolerance to violence and blood compared to him.

"Sorry, buddy. I hate coyotes so much. They always sound like they're mailing some tiny, helpless little animal." Stiles explained as Scott jumped over the ledge, leaving Blair and Stiles staring down after him.

"If it makes you feel better they probably are." Blair commented, tapping his chest before jumping down besides Scott and landing on her feet beside him as he pulled his phone out of the water.

"Why would that make me feel better?" Stiles asked as he slid down the ledge instead of smoothly jumping, Blair sighing in disappointment before holding her hand out for Stiles to grab as she tugged him up and helped him stand up straight.

"Because at least they aren't eating you if they're mailing someone else." Blair answered, Stiles paling as she spoke. Blair turning her head as she tried hard not to let out a laugh at managing to freak Stiles out over the coyotes. The evident gulp Stiles let out causing Blair to break out in a grin as he glared at her for making him panic more.

"It still works." Scott turned on his phone as the map on it was still displayed clearly - meaning he didn't have to try and fix it for water damage when he went home.

"Let me see the flashlight. I think we found it." Stiles grabbed the flashlight off Scott as he moved the group to the site of the accident, his light flashing over the overturned car.

"Uh.. Why wouldn't they move it? Isn't it evidence?" Scott asked as Blair walked closer to the car. All the pieces of the car still remaining exactly the same from when it had crashed years prior. Blair staring at the crash scene in shock, not believing that it was still in the exact same place and that nothing had changed from the original crime scene photos.

"Probably too much of a pain in the ass to tow out." Stiles shone his light around the car, pointing it inside the car so the three could see the interior - staring at the internal effects of the crash in the car.

"Look at this." Stiles moved forward, clearly spotting something as they moved to get a better view - the flashlight illuminating the claw marks on the doors of the car.

"See those? Animal claws would be closer together right? A lot closer." Stiles noted as Scott traced his hands over the claw marks on the car, the dents in the car beginning to a lot more like werewolf claws as they inspected it.

"Then it was a werewolf." Scott realised, not wanting to go through the trouble of dealing with another werewolf. The three staring at each other as they realised that the Sheriff had been on to something when he believed that the crash was caused by something supernatural.

"So, my dad was right." Stiles commented, going back to searching through the car for more clues as Scott caught something in the car.

"What is that?" Scott asked, Stiles yanking out a plastic baby doll as the three stared at it.

"I'm hungry." Stiles screamed it as Blair jumped back, tripping her over her own feet as both her and Stiles fell on the ground in shock at the sudden noise.

"I think I just had a minor heart attack." Stiles told the two, Scott clutching his chest in shock of the doll talking - all three of them managed to get scared out of their mind by the plastic doll.

"I know I just had a heart attack." Blair corrected, her eyes widening as she stared at the plastic doll on the ground in front of her.

"Hey, Stiles, Blair. Please tell me you see that." Scott pointed out as the two finally moved off their spots on the floor as they stood beside Scott. Blair's eyes widening in shock as she picked up on the coyote standing on the opposite side of the car.

"I see it." Stiles answered as they stared at the coyote in front of them, their eyes widening at the sight.

"And I hate it." Blair finished, gulping slightly at the thought that the wild coyote that could possibly eat them without much problem. Blair already planning that she would sacrifice Stiles to the coyote first since one of the last things she possibly wanted to do tonight was to get eaten by a coyote.

"Wait, hey, Scott! Scott, wait!" Stiles yelled after Scott but Scott took off running after the coyote before either of the two could stop him - the two already losing track of his shadow as he ran deeper into the woods after it.

"Aren't you going to go after him?" Stiles asked, gesturing to where Scott had been standing as Blair crossed her arms across her chest in defiance, standing still in her spot as she knitted her eyebrows in confusion.

"I am doing no such thing. If my boyfriend wants to get eaten by a coyote, I will help you pick out a nice suit to bury him in. But I am not being coyote dinner." Blair explained to him, Stiles squinting at her before clutching his head in aggravation - not believing Blair would be willing to stand here and not run after Scott.

"One, you are an awful girlfriend. Two, we are going to find something here since you won't run." Blair rolled her eyes at Stiles's lack of trying to find Scott too considering he had chastised her seconds ago for doing the exact same thing - hypocrite.

"Hey, Stiles, you see this?" Blair asked as she walked to the side of where the accident was. Stiles clutching onto the flashlight as the two walked forward. Blair ducking under the rock first as Stiles followed behind her.

"It's a coyote den." Blair realised, Stiles stepping forward as he grabbed onto something on the ground, immediately recognising the jacket that laid on the den's floor.

"Not just a coyote's den." Stiles held onto the jacket, as he took his phone out - reminding Blair of the picture of Malia and her sister - the coat identical to the one she was wearing in the picture.

"That's Malia's." Blair finished, the two nodding their heads as Stiles finally stood up. The two actually proud of themselves for finding evidence that could give them a lead to what was going on.

"Come on, we need to find Scott now." Stiles grabbed Blair's hand as the two moved out as they began running through the forest to try and track down Scott and share the new information with him.

"Blair!" Stiles called out when she tripped over a branch, stopping slightly to pick her of the grass before grabbing her hands and forcing her to run through the forest again. Blair ignoring the black blood that had trickled down her leg from the branch that had pricked her.
