"mama!" Seb said excitedly as i picked him up from a chair.

"hi, bub! JJ's mom is gonna take care of you for a little bit while i go to do grown up things, okay?"

"day-day?" he asked, trying to pronounce 'JJ'.

"yeah, JJ!" i told him encouragingly.

he squealed, bouncing in my arms happily.

"okay, my mom is in the parking lot, you ready?" JJ asked me.

"yeah, i need the baby bag-"

"ive got it," Spencer said, holding it up for me to see.

"oh, thanks!" i said, smiling at him, and he smiled back.

we got downstairs, meeting JJ's mom, who was super sweet, and Seb already loved her.

"thank you for taking care of them, it means a lot." i told her.

"oh, its no trouble! i think Henry will enjoy having friends to play with- im not always the most exciting person to play Hot Wheels with." she laughed, and i smiled.

after giving Seb another kiss bye, Spence and i got into his car, beginning the drive to Penny's apartment.

when we entered Penelope's apartment, it's safe to say that the bright colors and patterns were exactly what i was expecting her home to be.

"Pen, i think i'm in love with your aesthetic."

"aww you're so cute!" she gushed.

after everyone got comfortable in the living room area, Pen put on halloween music, but not too loud, and brought out snack trays, setting them on the coffee table.

"ok Garcia, where's the booze?" Emily asked.
