C15: Social Media

Mark and Leilah stopped by the grocery store, grabbing easy meals and plenty of snacks. As soon as they got home, Leilah helped Mark put away all of the food, quickly learning where everything goes for future reference.

As soon as they were done, they went up to Leilah's room, Mark grabbing his laptop on they're way there, plopping onto her bed

Mark quickly got to work on Leilah's twitter account, making her a gmail and letting her put in her password.

"Okay what do you want your username to be?" Mark asked, fingers ready on his keyboard.

"Uhh, crap," she scratched neck, thinking of a name.

"How about... Leilah-pli-er...?" she said awkwardly.

Mark laughed, typing in the silly name.

"I like it," he said afterwards. "I'm just gonna put Leilah as your screen name..." he trailed off, quickly filling in any other info he knew.

"Uhh, I need a last name..." he said cautiously.

Leilah hummed before proudly answering, "Fischbach."

Mark smiled delightfully, typing it in without a word.

"What do you want it to say in your bio?" Mrk asked, looking at Leilah who was leaning back into some pillow on her bed.

"Bio?"

"It's a little message people would see on your profile. It's supposed to say what you do for a living and basic information..." he said.

"Oh, right, right... Uh... put something like, Yo, this is Leilah. Yup, I'm actually Mark's kid..." she trailed off.

"Hahaha! That's perfect, you can more through your phone later!" he said, chuckling as he typed in the bio.

"There we go... All you need now is a profile picture and banner!" Mark said, turning on Leilah's phone.

"Here, set it up as much as you can and let me know when you finish. I'm gonna go make some Mac n' cheese for us real quick."

"Ok," Leilah said, getting to work.

She quickly finished, skipping anything she didn't know.

"Mark!! I'm done!" she shouted, swiping her screen from left to right watching the icons glide across the screen.

"Alright, I'll be right there!" he shouted back from the kitchen.

He walked into Leilah's room, handing her her cup of macaroni and cheese. She ate a spoonful, handing Mark her phone.

Mark swallowed what he had in his mouth before speaking.

"Good job... Ok, see that app right there?" he said, pointing to it.

"The one that's says app store?" she said, tapping on it.

"Yup, that's where you can download more apps, like games and social media," Leilah nodded. "Ok, go to the search thing,"

Leilah laughed, tapping on the icon. "Now type in Twitter." Leilah did so, seeing the application pop up.

"There, that's it. Now all you have to do is download it."

"Alright! That's easy..." she said, typing in her apple password.

"Now, you just wait. You can download some games if you want, or do you want to do that on your iPad?" Mark asked.

"Oh, yeah, let's do that."

After Mark and Leilah were done with their food, they set the cups aside and took out the iPad, putting on it's case.

Mark connected Leilah's iPad with her phone to make it easier for her (and secretly adding some parental controls), he downloaded some games and other useful app he thought she'd like and need.

"Here ya go, mouse. And make sure when you're done with your game or whatever, double tap the home button and swipe up all the apps you're not using." Leilah smiled at Mark, giving him a big hug, which Mark swiftly returned.

Mark looked back at the clock Leilah had on her nightstand, and jumped out of Leilah bed.

"Oh shit! I have to record!" Mark said, running out of the room making Leilah burst out laughing.

"Don't repeat that!" she heard faintly , before hearing a door slam.

"Language." she said to herself, grabbing her phone and seeing she had a ton of twitter notifications.

"What the f-"
