James scanned the room. Albus was sitting on the floor with his legs folded, reading a book, while Rose had crouched down to his level, furiously muttering incoherent words in his ear.

Dominique and Roxanne had taken over the armchairs while they gossiped of nonsense only they themselves would understand. Molly had her head buried in a book and being the youngest, Lily, Hugo, Louis and Lucy had huddled together in a corner playing some muggle board game called 'scrabble'.

Teddy and Victoire were cuddled together on the couch while Celine, their four year old daughter was playing with her toys.

No one was looking. 'Hey Freddie, wanna do something stupid?' he asked. 'Sure mate, whatcha got in mind?' asked Freddie. James gave freddie a devilish grin 'Follow me' he replied as the troublemaking Dou sneaked upstairs.

James was currently on the step stool while Freddie was rummaging through the drawers. 'Found anything yet?' asked a bored James. 'Yep' replied Freddie, excitedly.

This lit James up. 'What did you find?' asked James, jumping down from the step stool. 'This' replied Freddie, opening his palm to reveal a golden necklace. "Holy shit" breathed James. "Do you know what this is?"

"Of course I do, I'm not daft!" Replied Freddie. James' face contorted in a smirk. "Are you thinking what I am thinking?" Freddie looked at him confused before widening his eyes. "Jamie no-"

"Oh come on! This would be so cool! Loosen up a little" he replied, running his hand through his messy hair.

Freddie shoot him an incredulous look. "Loosen up a little?! Do you remember what happened the last time when three children thought of changing things that was completely out of their reach?"

James rolled his eyes. "Two of them almost died and let me refresh your memory; those two were al and scorp! They would be dead right now if uncle Harry and aunt Hermione hadn't intervened!" Exclaimed Freddie. "But just imagine! Meeting our namesakes! How awesome would that be!" Said James, snatching the necklace from Freddie's grip.

"James, be reasonable" he said. "Oh come on Freddie, I- Hey!" Exclaimed James as Freddie snatched it back and bolted out of the room.

'James stole this from Uncle Harry's office' bellowed Freddie, revealing the golden necklace in his palms. Rose gave an audible gasp. "That's a time turner! I have read about that! It's-"

"Nows not the time Rosie" Said Albus. "James what the hell is wrong with you?" Teddy shouted. "Can't u act mature for once?"

'Damn it Freddie, i can't believe you snitched on me!' said James, completely ignoring what Teddy said. "What were u thinking James?! Stealing a time Turner from Uncle Harry's office!" Exclaimed Victoire. "Plus you know that we are forbidden from going in there" Lily said quietly.

"Even Lily has more common sense than you, and that's saying something!" Dominique remarked, causing both Lily and James to glare at her. "I just wanted to meet my namesakes" he admitted slowly. "Are you crazy! That is reckless use of a time Turner! You might unknowingly alter the course of reality" Victoire said.

"Actually, if he just visits them and then obliviates them and makes sure nobody else sees him, then he is good to go" Molly commented

"No one asked" Dominique said.

The youngsters started sniggering while Molly glared at the redhead. "Could you stop being a disappointment for once?" exclaimed  Rose. "Low blow!" Louis exclaimed . Everyone knew of Dominique getting sorted in Slytherin. Most of them got used to the idea, while others still liked to make an unnecessary  remark about it

"Could you stop being annoying for once, Ro?" Roxy replied. "Plus, Molls kinda deserved it, I mean, you know that time turners are dangerous yet you have to butt in and make some kind of comment which makes yourself look dumb" she said.

While the drama unfolded James tried to make a run for it but he didn't go unnoticed by Teddy who caught him by the collar. "James, stop acting like a child and give me the time Turner" Teddy said, trying to do this the calm way

"Let me think about that" James said as he pretended to ponder over the situation. "Nope."

Teddy sighed, disappointed. "Accio" he simply said, but James has an iron grip over it and wouldn't let go. The effect of the spell wore off and James bore a victorious smirk, but the smirk was whipped off of his face as Teddy tackled him to the floor.

James tried to pry Teddy off of him as they both crashed into Dominique and fell on top of her. "Hey! Get off!" She screeched, but it fell in deaf ears as the boys still continued wrestling for the time turner. "That's it! Flipendo" she said, causing James, Teddy and the timeturner to go flying across the room.

"No!" Everyone exclaimed as the timeturner hit the edge of the drawers and broke into tiny little pieces. Dom's eyes widened. "Are you mental?! What is wrong with you?" Teddy exclaimed as the room began shaking. Celine squealed loudly while Victoire brought her in a protective embrace.

The children watched in horror as the sand from the time turner created a small hurricane and the floor began to open up.

"Oh hell nah" Rose exclaimed while she dashed out of the room, pulling Hugo out with her. Molly was luckily standing near the door and managed to pull Lucy out in time.

As for everyone else, they got sucked in the tunnel while the sand of the broken time turner engulfed them as they disappeared in thin air...
