Artwork is by a friend.

The poetry is all the work of Lord Byron.

Everything underlined is a quote from or a reference to a show or song by the Idiots.

"You really want to know what vexed me?

Fine I'll tell you.

Lord Byron was my greatest foe, if I had flesh - and this were Byron himself - I would damn well run him through! He stole my verse, my destiny and now he is to steal the woman of my dreams."

This is the story of how Thomas Thorne came to be a Ghost of Button house, his hatred for Byron and his penchant for dramatic lovelorn poetry.

The first part of Thomas' story - the second "The Ghost of Time" has a modern setting and is an alternative take on Thomas' origins, here: https://www.wattpad.com/story/218672862-the-ghost-of-time

I loved writing when I was growing up, in middle school I would fill exercise books with stories, always having more ideas to get down on paper than space to write them. I could see scenes playing out in my mind so clearly, I struggled to keep my hand scribbling down these images into stories as fast as my brain was showing them to me. That changed in high school, my mental health deteriorated drastically, every time I tried to write something, anything, all I could visualise was a brick wall. This has been the case since I left school, I've spent my 20's,never having the inspiration or the inclination to write. I never thought I would be able to again.

That is, until Ghosts series 1 aired last year. I've been a huge fan of the 6 Idiots for years now and feel privileged to have been there from the beginning. They have been such a huge part of my life and it is because of them and their work that my mental health has improved drastically, over the past year especially. I was only able to pick up a pen and write again because of them, they have been my inspiration and my reason for all of this, for that I am eternally grateful. This has helped my mental health considerably, giving me something to focus on.

Ghosts captured my imagination like nothing else, drawn in by the characters and their stories. I realised I was spending a lot of time thinking about all of their backstories and, unwilling to wait for their stories to unfold, I decided to write my own version for Thomas. I don't claim to have captured his personality, only that I have tried to stick to what we know from canon, chiefly -"he stole my verse, my destiny and now he is to steal the woman of my dreams."
