A Proper Lady Should Be Reasonable

"Who let Riko cooked?!"

"I'm pretty sure that she doesn't cook that bad, Senpai."

"Have you not seen her honey soaked-lemons!! It was a whole lemon!!! What kind of mad man does that?!!!"

Olivia was nearly watching that chaos unfolding around her, not long ago Riko revealed that she'll be making curry for the team. The upperclassmen were losing their minds while she and her classmate just looked in confusion.

"Floris-san, can you at least help her? I'm sure with your cooking skills you could do something."

Koganei looked at the beauty with a begging look on him.

"I...I'll try."

Her words brought hope to the older males. How bad of a cook can Riko be? Surely not as bad as her mother's........her mother did try to boil cereal.............. Ember may be pretty but her intelligence wasn't all there. Olivia still cringes at the memory of her father putting out the fire. As Olivia walked in to see Riko pouring an entire container of powdered protein into a pot of curry. Now she sees. This girl has no cooking since in any way, but the way she looked at Riko's cheery face Olivia didn't have the heart to stop her. The boys have to suffer for just today, As she slowly closed the door and left she prayed that the gods have mercy on them.

The gods seem to have missed the message, they ate Riko's food and Olivia saw each player lose their will to live in the eyes. The light just vanished.

The smell of the ocean was welcoming, Olivia loves the ocean, the sand, the salty water, and the beautiful shells she would often collect. Olivia was standing by Riko when she saw a basketball court.

"What is that?"

"A court."

"Does that mean?"

Riko gave her devilish smile

"You're gonna play."

And that was when Olivia saw the most exhausting practice she has ever seen from them. Maybe Riko is kinda a little devil. She watched them practice, each of them was tired and Olivia could see it on their faces. Ever since the game against Aomine, many of the players were in a runt but now they were bursting with energy, the same energy she first saw when she first met them. Olivia balled her hand, she watches as they were defeated and right when she made that claim of them winning to her mother. How useless can she be, no stop that Olivia? You're not useless, you just have to try harder for them. For them to win, for Kagami to be the strangest, for Kuroko to beat his past teammates........For Seirin to reclaim their rightful throne.

Now they were back in the training camp gym everyone seems to be playing better them they were on the beach. Olivia felt the jidders, she couldn't help but be happy with their improvements. Maybe she could cook them some food tomorrow morning. But how can she get the supplies to make the food.......maybe she can call someone to bring it for her. But the only one with a car is her mother while her father has a motorcycle he barely uses. Should she call her mom? No, she would be working by the time she would need the supplies, maybe her father? But she knows that he's the type of person who would spend his entire life inside his home. Her grandfather would be the best chose but how can he get here? Bus, maybe.

"Floris-chan, you ok?"

Riko's voice interrupted Olivia's train of thought.

" Yeah, um...Riko-san, would you mind if I call my grandfather to help me prepare for the team tomorrow?"

"Oh, sure."

Riko smiled at Olivia. Olivia in return gave one back in her own special way. Olivia pulled out her phone, searched for Ivan's contact and called. When she heard the rings Olivia walked outside the gym so she could talk to her grandfather.

"Привет моя ягода."(Hello my berry)

"Дедушка, ты можешь мне чем-нибудь помочь?" (Grandpa, can you help me with something?)"

With a hop skip and a jump, Ivan made his way to his precious granddaughter, with a few hiccups along the way. Since he can't speak Japanese as well as his son or his daughter-in-law. But since the people of Japan were some of the kindest people he has seen there was much trouble, just when they're willing to look over his appearance.

Ivan stood in front of a large gym by the beach, it was dark and he was not sure what to do, so he rang up Olivia. As the ringing keeps going, he looked on, then heard the voice of his granddaughter, not from the phone but in front of him. He looked up and saw Olivia running towards him with her cute small smile.

"Дедушка!(Grandpa!)"

Ivan could have sworn he saw a younger Olivia running to him. Where did the time go?

"Заходи внутрь, тебе должно быть холодно.(Come inside, you must be cold.)"

Olivia grabbed Ivan's hand and led him to the gym, when he walked inside he heard the squeaking of sneakers and bouncing of balls. When she was finally inside he saw a large group of teen boys playing basketball. He couldn't help but let out a jolly smile, nothing brings him joy more than people fully enjoying their youth. Olivia then led him to a short-haired girl. The young girl laid her eyes on Ivan and was taken back at his bear-like appearance. Thankful Ivan found no offense at her expression.

"Riko-san, this my grandpa. His name is Ivan."

"O-Oh...um. Hello."

"Hello."

Ivan said in his rather deep and heavy Russian voice. Ivan started to feel self-conscience with his lack of speaking the local language, but since his granddaughter was such a sweetheart she offered to be his translator.

"Please forgive him, he doesn't speak much Japanese but he can understand it better. You can talk to him normally but give him time to respond or get me to translate."

Olivia told Riko. Riko looked back at Olivia and then back to Ivan. Ivan gave his jovial smile hoping it can relax the tension and it did. Ivan was giving off a Santa vibe to her, but more punk-rock. She sent him a smile back and in turn caused Ivan's smile to grow wider. Ivan's then soon lingered to a familiar redhead. Kagami Taiga making a heavy dump into the hoop. Ivan could help but yell out Kagami's name in joy.

"Taiga!!!"

Kagami turned around to see Ivan waving at him with his smile on full blast. Kagami couldn't help but mimic that same smile. Kagami made his way to the large Russian man.

"Ivan, what are you doing here?"

"I'm here to help my berry with some things. But never mind me, look at you. That dunk you made was amazing!!"

Kagami rubbed his neck slightly shy to the complement he was being given by Ivan. Olivia stood by as she watches both of them talk to each other. It's was funny how open and gleeful Ivan is to new people while her father is the complete opposite. Well, she could say the same thing about her and her mother.

It was the next morning, the birds were singing and the sun was shining. Kagami stood over the large sink brushing his teeth and next to him was still sleepy Ivan. While both Riko and Olivia sleep in different rooms and Ivan sleeps in the same room are the other players. Since Kagami was there to help translate for Ivan, Ivan was able to get along with the other players. But he's still getting used to Kuroko's lack of presence. Scared the hell out of him and he almost threw hands with a child.

"Good morning."

Both Ivan and Kagami jumped awake. Both of them turned around and saw Kuroko. Ivan still had his toothbrush in his mouth while the foam dripped down his beard and Kagami was almost done brushing.

"It's ghost boy"

Ivan gave Kuroko a nickname, Kuroko didn't mind the name either.

"Stop doing that! Do you do that on purpose?!"

Ivan gave a jolly laugh at Kagami's sudden angry outburst. Ivan laughed even harder when he saw Kuroko's bedhead, he almost choked on his own saliva for laughing so much.

"Your hair Kuroko."

Then another voice was heard. Ivan, Kagami, and Kuroko look past the corner and saw both Takao and Midorima.

"This place is a dump, are we really staying here? I feel like I'm gonna see a ghost."

"Shut up Takao."

"........"

Takao and Midorima turned and met eye contact with both Kuroko and Kagami.

"Eh?"

"Geh!"

Ivan looked at everyone's expression. Are these also Olivia's friends? He just watches on the sideline as the four teens started talking to each other.....well more like Midorima arguing with Kagami. How energized they were. The Riko came into the scene, but what she looked like gave the old man a scare. She was brandishing a knife with red liquid covering both her and the knife.

"What are you guys doing? We're waiting for you all in the cafeteria."

Behind her, Ivan could clearly see Olivia with a panicked face running toward them with a towel in hand.

"Riko-san, please clean up! People would misunderstand!"

But in her panic Olivia tripped in mid-run causing her to fall face-first to the hard wooden floor......or not. Thankful Ivan was there to catch her before anything bad could happen. Ivan gently lifted her up. Olivia gave her grandfather thanks and gave Riko the towel so she can clean herself. But when he did that both Takao and Midorima finally laid their eyes on this heavily built older man with both armed cover and sleeve tattoos, some more on his legs, and a faint scar going down his right eye. This man looked dangerous, someone that could break someone into two. Midoriama is tall, slightly taller than Kagami but this old man towered over him like it was nothing.

"W-Whoa, what a monster."

Ivan heard what Takao said and turned his head to him. Poor Takao flinched when this man looked at him, but what he didn't expect was for this large man to give him a childish smile.

"I'm Floris Ivan, Olivia's Grandpa."

Ivan's smile quickly replaced his scary appearance with a more accepting warm one. Takao slowly relaxed but could help but laugh at the irony at how Olivia, a girl the greatly resembles a beautiful flower, could be related to a man that looks like he could fight a whole army bare-handed. He turned around and saw the sweating face of Midorima. He almost forgot that he was trying to court Olivia but when he met her grandfather it's gonna be kinda hard.

"Дедушка, пошли. Мы должны покупать еду (Grandpa, let's go. We have to buy the food.)"

It's not often they hear Olivia speaking another language, never the least, Russian. Olivia, with her smaller body, pulls her grandfather away.

"I'll see you in the afternoon."

And so both Russians were gone

It was silence, then Takao said something that earned a smack from Midorima.

"Good luck trying to convince him, Shin-chan."
