June 16th 

Levy's pov 

the exams are over and me and gajeel wait for the kids to come back home because we held a BBQ for Grace and Jaden for trying so hard. Litually everyone is here. they walked through the door and everyone cheered. 

'we haven't got out grades yet' jaden joked and we all laughed. 

'we know but you guys have tried so hard, so you can have a celebration day on finishing the exams' Gajeel said and the teens hugged us in a group. 

Gajeels pov 

i really do hope they did well. both of them stressing everyday.  

me and the guys were working the BBQ coking steak, chicken, sausages, ribs, burgers....the lot. it's crazy, the entire neigbourhood has been invited.  it's great. 

'Guys can we play basketball?' the boys asked and we all chuckled. we placed a good amount of food on the serving table and everyone went to get some food. and we turned to the boys begging for a game. 

'alright' Natsu said and me and the boys and the guys walked to the mini court in the grassy area and started the match with the girls and the others watching and cheering. 

Levy's pov 

after Natsu and Jellal won the game, it got later and it was just the eight of us. with our kids sitting around the fire making smores. 

'so what day is prom?' Lucy asked the teens and they looked at each other. 

'on the 30th of june' grace replied. 

'have you asked anyone Jaden?' gajeel asked and he turned pink. 

'you have who is she?' i said exitedly and he turned all bashful with the others of us chuckling. 

'she's called Melone' he said and i cheered with exitment and hugged him. gajeel made them bump fists which was pretty funny. 

'so what about you grace anyone ask you?' Juvia asked and she turned bright pink and gajeel just looked at her. 

'so has anyone asked you' he said and Grace nodded. and gajeel just nodded, obviously he didn't want her to have a date but it's okay for Jaden to have one. why are fathers so confusing. 

'yeah whats the problem with that?' Grace asked and gajeel just stayed quiet. 

'i just want you to be careful...you do know i wasn't able to go to my prom' gajeel better be careful on what he says. 

'gajeel' Jellal said trying to stop him from speaking. 

'why because i happen to be born on that day!' Grace snapped and everyone was quiet. 'you know dad, i don't care what you say because i'm not as irresponsible as you were as a teenager!' Grace stormed off to my bedroom, i could tell it was mine because it's the closest door near the stairs. 

'well done' i said and gajeel just sat there quietly. 

'right well, it's getting late, school in the morning' Natsu said putting louis on his back and lucy got up and so did the others and we all said goodbye. as they left the boys and girls went to bed and it was just me and gajeel.  

'you understand right' 

'yes gajeel i do, it's just that you were happy for jaden asking a girl to prom but when Grace was asked, you hated the idea' i said and gajeel just sat on the bench. 

'i just don't want her to be hurt' 

'well gajeel, you need to trust her' 

'i just never went to prom' 

'neither did i' i cried and gajeel just looked at me. it's stupid to cry over this but my hormones are going crazie right now. 'i couldn't fit in my blimming dress so i didn't go' i cried and gajeel chuckled and hugged me. 

'should i talk to her' he asked and i shook my head. 

'no, i think she wants a girl to girl talk' i said and gajeel chuckled and broke the hug.  i walked upstairs into my room and saw grace crying on my pillow. 'hey' i greeted and she looked at me with teary eyes. 

'why doesn't he trust me?' she cried and i sat on the bed with her. 

'because he's a boy..on top of that he's your father' 

'thats so confusing...he's so happy for jaden but then when i have the same thing, he's angry about it' 

'it's because, your his daughter. men are the most confusing species of the planet. some say they want a baby, when they find out, they are going to be a parent they hate everything and start panicking' i said and Grace giggled. 

'i mean i know i haven't told him about my boyfriend but he thinks i'm going to be like him and mum, pregnant at sixteen, runing my life' 

'hey your father loves you...i had Jaden young and regretted what i did and he came back to me. i still love him, and i had other kids who i still love and your father did the same. he just doesn't want to see you grow up. he still loves you even though he may say the most stupidest things when he doesn't think' i said and we both laughed. Grace hugged me and i felt a tear soak in my dress. 

'i'm really happy that your going to be my mum' she wimpered and i just smiled. 

'i'm really happy that you want me to be' i said and i could feel her smile as she hugged me tighter.
